In the Monday, July 4, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Carter takes Quinn home, Sheila needs more help from Mike, and Hope fills Liam in on everything that’s happened.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Quinn crashed Carter’s wedding, professed her love, and they left Paris at the altar.
Hope returns home and finds Liam fresh from the shower with his shirt open. She fills him in on Carter and Paris’ relationship falling apart at the altar. He assumes it must have been Grace or Zende who stopped it.
He’s shocked when she tells him it was his brother’s mother. He knew something was up because his dad sent a cryptic text. At least it wasn’t Sheila. They discuss all the security that Ridge has set up.
Liam is relieved that Kelly isn’t around right now with Sheila on the loose. Hope wonders what she will do next.
Quinn sits on Carter’s lap at Il Giardino. They feel great until he remembers Paris is probably miserable. He decides to go and talk to her. Quinn will be waiting for him. He likes the sound of that.
In a suite, Grace tells Paris that Carter should be ashamed for breaking her heart this way. At least now she can see the kind of man he is. He wanders in. Saying he’s sorry may sound hollow but he is.
Carter assures his almost-bride that there is a man out there who deserves her.
After he leaves, Grace wishes Carter had been worthy of Paris’ love. She hopes this doesn’t make her cynical and she continues to see the best in people. Zende shows up to agree. Paris smiles at him.
Sitting down, Zende assures his ex that she will bounce back and continue to be beautiful inside and out. He offers to take her home. Carter just gave up the best thing that could ever happen to him and he wants to give her a ride.
“I’d like that a lot,” she says.
Back in the reception room, Quinn is sneaking some macarons until Carter interrupts. He tells her it was time to be honest. “Let’s go home,” he says, offering her his hand.
Carter and Quinn go to the loft. After she’s told him everything that happened with Eric, she has a shower and then comes out in his shirt. They are back to where they began.
She says the first time they professed their love was in the same loft. It’s also where they first kissed and had sex. They kiss. This isn’t how she thought her day was going to go. The one thing she can’t shake is that she loves him. He loves her too.
Quinn tells him he’s getting what he wished for: their life running away together. He kisses her and says this is the beginning of the future they always dreamed about. They undress each other and have sex.

Sheila sits by Finn’s side and begs him to wake up. Mike arrives. She drags him in and he assumes something bad is happening. She explains that she can’t leave Finn. This is confusing for him since her son was supposed to be dead.
“What in the flying?” Mike asks. He’s shocked she had him help her escape when she wasn’t even guilty. Now she needs his help keeping Finn alive. He can bring her stuff from the jail infirmary.
When he asks why Li isn’t involved in this, she makes a face and he worries. “I didn’t intend to kill her,” she admits, insisting it was all an accident. Li is gone and she’s the only mother who can keep Finn alive.
“I need you,” she begs. He can’t resist that. He flashes back to the crazy things she’s made him do over the years. She says he’s the one person she can always depend on, the one person who doesn’t deceive her.
He didn’t break her out of jail so she could go on a crime spree. Sheila insists she’s not a monster. She’s changed. A sociopath wouldn’t risk everything to protect her son.
Mike points out she already shot him, his wife, and killed his adoptive mom then adds, “I don’t think you’ve changed all that much.”
Finn begins gurgling and growling. Sheila doesn’t know how to interpret this. Mike suggests she go and let him call 911. She worries about Liam’s body not being found. He thinks she should be more worried about the cops finding her.
Sheila says that Li was an amazing doctor and she needs her. Finn convulses and flatlines. “Oh my God! I killed him again!” she moans.
