George Russo will join General Hospital as Carmine Cerullo.
Carmine looks to be Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) grandfather.
Taping for Russo begins April 15 and his debut in Port Charles is May 15.
It’s most likely he is coming to town for BLQ and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding.
Morgan Fairchild
Morgan Fairchild appears again on General Hospital as Haven de Havilland, host of the Home & Heart show.
She’ll be in scenes with Maxie Hones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).
Anzu Lawson appears
Anzu Lawson makes an appearance on General Hospital as Sandrine, a wedding gown designer who shares scenes with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
BLQ has a bit of a wedding dress crisis before she marries Chase (Joshua Swiwckard) and it’s Sandrine to the rescue. Lawson will be seen Thursday, April 11.
Virginia Ma
Virginia Ma debuts Tuesday, April 2 on General Hospital as Madison.
Madison is Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) new assistant.
Kody Kavitha
Kody Kavitha will be joining GH as Hunter, who is the new manager at Bobbie’s.
She’ll be seen first this week, starting Thursday, April 4.
March General Hospital Comings and Goings
Steve Burton’s contract
Steve Burton announced on his podcast that he signed a two-year deal with General Hospital that keeps him in Port Charles as Jason Morgan. The actor was specifically directing his comments toward Facebook groups to ensure they knew that he wasn’t exiting in three months the way some wrongly assumed.
“They said that I only signed a three-month contract, and then I’m dying,” said Burton, summarizing discussions across various Facebook fan groups about his status on the daytime drama series. “Hey, guess what? It’s a two-year contract, and I’m not dying!” Burton continued.
Burton also remains portraying Harris Michaels on Days of our Lives, a role that he has already exited, though the character will be seen into Summer considering the Peacock show tapes so far in advance.
Michael Carson
Michael Carson will be seen on GH again the week of March 11 as Ben, Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) physiotherapist.
Cassandra James is back as Terry
Cassandra James will be returning to General Hospital after being off since October 2023. The actress posted about her return on Threads.
She spoke out about being missing from the bloated cast saying, “First day on set since October. Almost half a year. Choosing gratitude because I know most actors have waited longer. Just imagine if the job you trained to do, that you’re good at and you love was consistently demonstrated to be ephemeral. That having a second job was not only normalized but systemically suggested. When you come home and stream our work on your TV, artists are wondering why we rarely feel valued enough to make our job a living.”
Sean T. Krishnan
This week (March 11) brings Sean T. Krishnan to GH as Dr. Enoch, who will be in scenes with Heather (Alley Mills).
Chris Gann appears
Chris Gann will make an appearance on General Hospital as Hamish in the episode on March 4.
Dieterich Gray appears the week of March 4
Dieterich Gray will be seen on GH as Adrian DeWitt, a gossip columnist.
He will be in scenes with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Nina (Cynthia Watros).
Gray’s TV credits include Lucifer, Lethal Weapon and S.W.A.T.
Heather Webber returns
Heather Webber (Alley Mills) makes a return in the Monday, March 4 episode of General Hospital.
She attacks a Pentonville guard (Anthony Molinari) and winds up in the hospital.
Note: Molinari is a stuntman not only for GH but according to Soap Digest, he’s done stunts for Matt Damon, Mark Ruffalo and George Clooney.
February General Hospital Comings and Goings
Asher Jared Antonyzyn Back as Danny Morgan
Asher Jared Antonyzyn returns as Danny Morgan, Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) son with Jason (Steve Burton) on February 14.
We first saw the recast of Danny, first seen on November 2 in the Halloween episode.
In the Valentine’s Day episode, a PCPD officer takes Danny home after he’s caught drinking underage.
Eva LaRue joins GH as Blaze’s mother
As Blaze/Ally (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) told Kristina (Kate Mansi), she hasn’t come out because she doesn’t think she’ll be accepted as a lesbian both with family and her career. We felt for her, but don’t know her family and can’t connect to an off-screen story.
Now, General Hospital has cast Eva LaRue as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, Blaze’s mother.
LaRue will first appear on the February 26th episode, according to TVLine, who also posted an exclusive photo of her in her first scene, where she’s bringing luggage into a Metro Court suite. It’s a lot of luggage, so she might be around for a while.
Some will recall LaRue’s time on Y&R as Celeste Rosales, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso), Arturo (Jason Canela) and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) mother. She was there from 2019-2020 and portrayed well-known Maria Santos on All My Children from 1993-1997, and before that, she debuted on Santa Barbara in 1988 as Margot.
Are you excited to see Eva LaRue on screen again? Leave us a comment.
Adam Huss is out once again
Adam Huss was only with us a short time, once again as Nikolas Cassadine returned with Ace (Jay and Joey Clay) last week in scenes with Laura (Genie Francis).
Adam Harrington appears as Agent John Jagger Cates
Agent John Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington) is seen in the Friday, February 2 episode of General Hospital.
Harrington is an actor and producer from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
He has been seen in roles in TV such as The Lincoln Lawyer, The Rookie, Daytime Divas, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments, Drop Dead Diva, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Parks and Recreation.
In the role previously played by Antonio Sabato Jr. from 1992 to 1995.
William Lipton is back as Cameron
William Lipton returns to General Hospital as Cameron Webber the week of February 5.
He’s back for Spencer’s memorial, to say goodbye to Spencer with his family and friends and for one day only.
We last saw Cameron in March 2023 when he left Port Charles to attend Stanford University. Soap Opera Digest was the first to report the news.
Joshua Benard
Say goodbye to Joshua Benard. His time as Adam Wright has come to an end.
Joshua Benard has played Adam since 2021 and though he exits this month, Soap Opera Digest says that the show is keeping the door open for a possible return at some point.
Avery Pohl exits…but is it permanent?
Avery Pohl joined GH on August 16, 2021 as Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) girlfriend from boarding school in France. She set Port Charles on fire with her secrets and machinations. Never a dull moment, she went out on a shocking note. I
n the January 31 episode of GH, Esme, and Spencer fell overboard into the Seine and were presumed dead. General Hospital has confirmed that the actress is out as Esme Prince, of course along with Chavez.
But we know Chavez is supposed to be returning as Spencer in about three months after filming Monster, where he’ll portray a Menendez brother (scroll for that story).
Is it a stretch to think Pohl could return at some point as Esme?
After all, Esme’s parents are Heather Webber (Alley Mills) and Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), and they’ve come back from being presumed dead a few times.
Eden McCoy is back!
For those missing Eden McCoy, who took some time off of portraying Joss Jacks when her mother passed away, she is due to return to General Hospital on Thursday, February 1.
Courtney Fulk’s last airdate will be this week. She has done a great job of portraying Joss in McCoy’s absence.
Here’s a reminder that the actress won a Daytime Emmy in 2023 in the category of Best Younger Performer.
Nicholas Alexander Chavez
Nicholas Alexander Chavez will be exits General Hospital temporarily in order to star in the second season of Netflix’s anthology, Monster.
Chavez will portray one of the Menedez brothers.
According to TV Line, “GH does not intend to bring in a new actor to portray Spencer while Chavez is away.” There is no start date for this project, considering the current writers’ strike has put a hold on things.
Look for the actor’s last airdate on January 31 while Spencer and Trina (Tabyana Ali) are in Paris.
Ali will not be exiting the show while Chavez is away.
Duncan Anderson
Duncan Anderson is seen as Owen on GH.
Owen is Adam Wright’s (Joshua Benard) roommate.
Jim Hanna
Jim Hanna will be portraying Judge Thompson who presides over Esme’s (Avery Pohl) hearing on GH this week.
Steve Mize
Steve Mize (Mr. Wright) makes an appearance the week of January 15 on General Hospital. He’ll be seen again February 1.
He’s Adam Wright’s father.
Look familiar? In 2023, he portrayed Dr. Pierce on Days of our Lives, who helped Melinda Trask steal Nicole’s baby to give to Sloan.
He’s also been in Station 19, Bones, and Grey’s Anatomy.
Catherine Kresge
Catherine Kresge will be seen as Dr. Sawyer on General Hospital today.
She has scenes with Finn (Michael Easton) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and starts on January 17.
Brighton Hertford
Brighton Hertford returns to General Hospital in a twist this week, not as BJ Jones, but as Angela Brighton on January 10 for Bobbie’s (Jacklyn Zeman’s) memorial.
Angela’s an AP reporter who comes to Port Charles to do a story on Bobbie’s work with an organization rescuing women from human trafficking.
This came as a shock to Port Charles residents and the news sent Carly and Felicia on a mission to help the last woman Bobbie was trying to save.
Maxie offered to set Angela up with some Port Charles residents to talk about Bobbie so she can finish her article which means she returns on January 11.
But there’s a plot twist. Angela doesn’t exist. Angela is BJ as an angel, sent back to help the family.
Fans were reminded of BJ Jones’ life and her death when Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) visited her grave.
Some backstory,
Tony (Brad Maule) and Bobbie’s daughter BJ was portrayed by Hertford in the 80s through until 94.
She was named BJ — Barbara Jean in honor of Bobbie Spencer, who was the nurse who helped her mother, Tania (Hilary Edson), deliver her baby in a storm during a power outage.
Bobbie legally adopted BJ years later after Tania died in a car accident.
Tony and Bobbie married and in May 1994, at the age of seven, BJ was left brain dead after her school van was hit by a drunk driver.
Tony decided to donate BJ’s organs and her heart went to cousin Maxie Jones.
Many will remember the scene of Tony laying his head on Maxie’s chest and listening to BJ’s heartbeat, something Maxie thinks she remembers.
Ryan Carnes, and Marc Samuel at Bobbie’s memorial
General Hospital is addressing what happened to Bobbie Spencer since Jackie Zeman died in May of 2023.
Read to find out more about how the memorial will require tissues, for the adventure that comes after the memorial in January 2024.
Ryan Carnes will return as Lucas Jones and Marc Samuel will be seen as Felix DuBois on January 10 when they air part 1 of Bobbie’s memorial. They will be gone after that episode.
Steve Burton’s back!
Steve Burton returns to General Hospital as Jason Morgan! Take a look at what the actor said about his return.
Adam Huss surprises viewers
Adam Huss returned on January 3 in scenes with Ava (Maura West), surprising both Ava and the viewers when he snuck up behind her and put a hand over her mouth so she wouldn’t scream when she saw that he truly is alive.
Little did Nicholas know, she already had word that he’d been revived and traveled around Europe.
She was angry with him and they argued about past misdeeds and then he asked her to work with him to give Esme what she deserves.
There’s no word on how long Huss will be back for or if Nicholas will slink back out of Europe or get caught being, well, alive.

Cameron Mathison returned to General Hospital on December 29 as Drew Cain.

About the rumors that were going around that Mathison was done at GH, he says in an Instagram story, “The number one question I’m getting while I’m here is whether I’m leaving General Hospital, and I don’t know why there’s a rumor out there but I’m definitely not. I’m having the best time ever on GH.”
