Days January comings and goings
Steve Burton’s contract is up and he’s out.
We all knew going in that Burton would only be on Days for a year, but that year has flown by. The actor will be seen into summer before finally exiting.
Last November, we posted that Burton was joining the show on Peacock as Harris Michaels, a role the ex-General Hospital star had originated in 1988.
Even before Jason Morgan existed on GH!
Where will Burton wind up next? He’s back on General Hospital portraying Jason Morgan.
He wasn’t back from the dead in time to help Carly through her tragic news that her mother Bobbie just died, but Carly was the first person he came to when he showed up in Port Charles. This, after he saved Dante’s life.
The actor said farewell to Days of our Lives with a video message for his fans as he left the studio for the last time.
“Wow. Uh, well, I just shot my final scenes here at Days of our Lives and I just wanna say thank you to the cast, to the crew, to Days. It’s been amazing. I can’t believe it’s been a year already, so thank you so much, to the fans, it’s just a…. I’m always so full of gratitude so thank you. Stay tuned.”

AnnaLynn McCord to Days
Actress, Humanitarian and model, AnnaLynne McCord just signed a one-year contract on Days of our Lives as Marin.
Marin is described as a “fascinating and complicated woman who is devastatingly beautiful, almost angelic in her outward appearance. The desire of many but her heart belongs to only one man who continues to push her away for her own good,” per Deadline.
McCord is best known for portraying Naomi Clark on CW’s 90210 reboot, and other vixen-type roles, but behind the scenes, she is an advocate for mental health, and is dedicated to end human trafficking.
McCord’s role begins in 2024.
