Wed Jan 3, 2024: Today on General Hospital, Lucy, Scott, and Laura remember Bobbie, Tracy realizes Lucy and Scott are in cahoots, and Willow lashes out at Michael.
Tuesday’s GH recap: Michael told Sonny that Nina called the SEC, and Carly learned Bobbie is dead.
Lucy joins Scott at the Grill and he tells her he has Tracy where he wants her.
He’s been texting with her and it’s going well.
She worries he might be going too fast and arousing suspicion before he tries to lure her off to Vegas for some edibles and a quickie wedding.
Scott points out that Luke tricked her into that once and he doubts she will fall for it again.
She says Tracy has a habit of making the same mistakes. “I guess we have that in common,” he says.
Looking at his phone, Lucy tells him he’s been using too many exclamation points.
Martin, Kevin, and Laura eat across the room, discussing the lawyer’s exes and how he’s trying to respect Lucy talking to her former beau.
Laura gets them to take a selfie together for her social media.
Lucy and Scott are in the background.
Coe waves at Martin as he leaves.
Lucas calls Laura. Scott and Lucy look over and sense something is wrong so walk over.
Laura announces that Bobbie died. Scott nearly falls over.
The mayor asks them not to tell anyone. Lucas swore her to keep this quiet.
Lucy and Scott agree not to say anything and Coe says she always respected Bobbie despite their differences.
She flashes back to asking Bobbie for a hug.
Laura says she and Bobbie had their differences too but something special that she will cherish grew out of that.
Luke or no Luke, she was a sister to her.
Scott loved her too. When they were great, they were really great but he couldn’t make it last.
Maybe it wasn’t supposed to?
Laura suggests it was a bond deeper than that and Lucy says he was her “forever friend.”
They toast to Bobbie, “the heart of Port Charles.”
At the Quartermaine estate, BLQ asks Tracy why Scott Baldwin is blowing up her phone. She asks if she’s lonely.
Tracy waves this off but BLQ notes he’s texting her a lot and clearly flirting with her.
Chase shows up. BLQ is relieved to see the cop and fills him in on her mom getting righteous and crossing the line.
Chase says no one tells her mom what to do and that’s on her.
He suggests they snuggle and feel better. She warns him her grannie is flirting on the phone with Scott.
She grabs Tracy’s phone and shows him. Her grannie complains about the lack of privacy.
They tease her about Scotty B having a thing for her. Getting nauseous, she admits they had a dalliance years ago but her standards are exponentially higher than him.
BLQ starts listing her exes. She wants her to be happy and it wouldn’t kill her to have some fun.
“Says who?” asks Tracy as her granddaughter starts downloading social media apps onto her phone. She follows a bunch of people she knows for her.
Chase suggests it would be good if she get out more. Tracy suggests they get out.
They wish her happy new year and BLQ reminds her to use the time she has left to live a little.
Sitting down and looking at her phone, Tracy sees Laura’s post with Lucy and Scott in the background. “Gotcha,” she smirks.
At the gallery, Ava has her bodyguard escort one of her employees out to her car.
When she’s left alone, she’s startled when someone sneaks up and puts their hand over her mouth.
It’s Nikolas. He assumes she’s surprised to see him since she left him for dead.
She knows all about him reviving and traveling around Europe. She’s beyond angry with him.
He thinks he has more right to be angry than she does. She threatens to scream but he says no one will hear her. The room is soundproof.
They argue about him threatening to take her daughter and he claims he never would have gone through with it.
She asks if he killed Austin. He denies it and doesn’t know anything about the notes or gun either.
The prince claims he came back so they could hash things out. He wanted to tell her he’s sorry for the pain he caused her, but they were both played by Austin and his boss.
They rehash what Ryan and Esme did to them. They loved each other, but she says their real problems were deeper.
She’s sure they were always headed for heartbreak. He disagrees.
She yells at him to take some responsibility. There’s no coming back from him threatening to take her daughter.
They may have loved each other other, but it was rotten at its core.
They’re both sorry. He suggests that Esme needs to get what she deserves just like Ryan did.

At The Savoy, Nina and Willow arrive as Michael blurts out to Sonny that it was Nina who went to the SEC and ratted on Carly and Drew.
She sees no point in denying it.
Willow is outraged to learn her mom set all this in motion. Nina wants to explain but her daughter orders her to back off.
Nina tells Sonny she was about to confess. He just wants to know if she hates the mom of his child so much she would send her to prison out of spite.
She claims it wasn’t pure spite and explains that this was about Carly keeping the truth about Willow from her.
Her husband gets that but it doesn’t explain why she roped Michael and Ned in.
“What?” blurts Willow. Michael admits to his wife that he knew since the wedding. She can’t handle this and runs with him chasing after.
Sonny lectures Nina for nearly getting Drew killed. She admits what she did was wrong but he did commit a crime.
Nina repeats that she was about to tell him everything. Turning to her and glowering, he says he doesn’t believe her.
He says she did what she did and ruined lives. She says everyone is fine.
Sonny says Drew has changed. He’s so angry he can’t even look at her. She claimed she would never lie to him and cracked pretty quick.
She asks him not to throw their life together away over a stupid mistake. He barks at her to stop apologizing.
Nina keeps saying she’s sorry. “I’m not the one who needs to hear it,” he says.
Sonny says she owes that to Carly and Drew and thinks she should head over there right now.
She assumes that he wants her to go because he knows Carly will tear her apart when he can’t do it because he still loves her.
Holding his head, Sonny says he can’t do this right now.
As he walks out, she vows she won’t let this be the end of them.
Michael follows Willow down to the water. She lashes out at him for not telling her the truth and letting Ned take the fall.
He claims he was trying to protect her and she tells him he’s as bad as Nina. She doesn’t need protection.
She’s healthy and strong now and deserved the truth from the start.
He throws her keeping her cancer diagnosis from him in her face. She can’t believe he just did that.
Michael insists he was just trying to spare her. She reminds him that she’s tougher than most.
She thinks about how he’s been keeping Nina out of their lives for months. He wasn’t keeping this secret just to protect her.
Sonny goes to the chapel to pray.
At home, Carly stares at a photo of herself and her mom, flashing back to when she asked Bobbie if she could take the Spencer name.
As she sobs, Drew asks how she’s holding up. She can’t believe she’ll never see her mom again.
He called Lucas and he should be able to get Bobbie back with as little red tape as possible from customs.
Carly worries that no one will be holding her mom’s hand as she flies back. She realizes the body coming back isn’t her mom anymore.
He says Bobbie is everywhere now so she will always be with the people she loves.
She needs to call the kids. He says they can help each other get through it. Lucas is letting everyone else know so she has a few hours to process her feelings.
She doesn’t even know what she’s feeling. Waving her hands and rubbing her head, she says she keeps questioning everything and wondering if she’d done something differently, her mom would still be there.
She knew her mom should not travel alone given her medical condition. She was gone for months and she just accepted it.
Drew tells her Bobbie died peacefully in her sleep and she shouldn’t have any regrets.
“But I do!” she says.
She recalls speaking to her mom on Christmas Eve. Sniffling as she looks at the golden plastic pine cones on the tree, she recalls Donna telling her she loved her and she added “ditto.”
Drew says that sounds like a beautiful call.
Breaking into tears, she says that if she knew this would be the last call, she would have told her how much she loved and respected her.
He’s sure her mom knew. Carly would have stayed on that phone forever if she’d known this was coming.
She remembers that used to be like Nelle and came to town to ruin her mom. Drew says she’s earned her forgiveness since then.
Carly says she taught her to be a good mom and how to love.
“Then I owe Bobbie everything,” he says, holding her.
When he goes off to call the embassy and start the arrangements, Nina shows up.
