In the Friday, October 14, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge and Taylor have sex,

In Aspen, Ridge and Steffy drink as Taylor eats and tells her daughter that the pinecone gave Ridge the epiphany.
Steffy laughs and asks how many fingers he sees her holding up.
Ridge squints as he complains to Taylor. Why did you tell her?

She had to have known she’d mock him. The women go call Thomas and Ridge does his staring thing.
Once on the call, Steffy can’t believe Donna defended Brooke after all they went through. She tells her brother she’s heading back to L.A. She knows she and Thomas were a bit of a pain.
Ridge agrees. They all agree that walking away from Brooke and reuniting with his family was good. “You did good,” they all say.
Steffy and Taylor go back her things and Thomas calls his dad to thank him for reuniting their family and for sticking up for him and his relationship with his son.
He tells his father to forget Brooke and focus on Mom. “Okay,” Ridge says.
On the flight home, Brooke lays on the sofa teary-eyed as she flashes back to Ridge dumping her.
She looks at her phone, at a photo of her and Ridge.

B&B opinion: Taylor, Ridge’s second choice?
Dollar Bill takes Katie out to Il Giardino for dinner. He hates that he tore their family apart.
She deserved more. He can give her more now. He loves her. “Bill,” she ever so slightly complains.
He wants his Katie back.
She says they’ve been through this but he claims he’s different.
She’ll see it if she returns to him. She thinks it sounds like someone wrote it for him.
He agrees but he wrote it himself. It’s what she’s always dreamed of hearing.
She thinks they need to deal with his love for her sister, which ruins them each time. “Katie, come on,” Bill says.
She reminds him he called her sister the great love of his life. What is she?
Bill claims that was at one time but she and Will are his focus. “There is no Brooke. There is nothing. She’s married to Ridge.”
Katie asks if he’d stay away if she was single. She’s not trying to put him on the spot. She is just trying to be realistic.
She’d like a reconciliation. She knows he loves her but he also loves her sister.
She can’t live with it. She takes off and Othello calls Bill to rat Brooke out for being in Aspen with Ridge, but they never came together.
Othello says their exchange was intense. The marriage is over.
Ridge is in the house with Steffy and Taylor, looking like a happy family while Brooke is going home.
Back in Aspen, Steffy has created a romantic mood in the bedroom for her parents with candles aflame and a fire roaring.
Taylor has waited a long time for this. He’s sorry he made her wait. She gets on top of him and they say I love yous and make out.
They have sex and afterward, she asks if she’s dreaming. They say I love yous and kiss.
They snuggle and once Taylor’s asleep, Ridge stares off.
Carter arrives at Forrester Creations with the budget for the international campaign.
He notices Katie’s sadness and grills her. She tells him about her dinner with Bill, who wants her back.
She doesn’t want to go through that again.
Brooke arrives home and flashes back to better times with Ridge.
Brooke recalls times in bed with Ridge and outside in the garden, and his Christmas proposal. She cries.
Bill turns up. She tells him Ridge left her for Taylor and she doesn’t know why.
He reminds her he said he’d always be there for her and holds her as she cries.
Alone at home, Thomas flashes back to faking the recording of Brooke calling CPS.
