Thursday, August 31 recap of B&B: Steffy’s ready to go home while Finn warns Liam to stay away from his wife and Sheila massages Deacon who is stressed.
Wednesday’s B&B recap: RJ Offers to Train Eric on Computer Design, Deacon Covers for Sheila, and Finn Tells Steffy No One Will Keep them Apart
Eric and Steffy are synchronized while reading the paper together.
They take a sip of tea, put it down, shake their newspaper and cross their legs, all while Ridge watches.
He says they’ve got this roommate thing down pat.
They tell him the kids are at the pool with Donna, painting rocks.
Eric and Donna love the buzz they create while they’re there.
Eric tells Steffy he loves her, Kelly and um, um, “Hayes,” Steffy offers.
“Hayes, right,” he says.
She loves staying with him but they can’t stay forever.
They worry about Sheila but it’s time to go home, she insists.
Ridge asks why now and she says that Finn has vowed to protect them.
“We’ve heard all this before,” Ridge says, head in hands.
Steffy wants to believe it’s true. Steffy says her kids need their schedules, routines and Finn.
Ridge knows but Sheila’s still out there.
She tells the men she has flashbacks to being shot and seeing Finn downed.
They wonder then how she can go back to “that house.”
Later, Steffy’s gone when Ridge asks if Steffy’s okay with Steffy moving back to Malibu.
Eric thinks it’s dangerous but they can’t talk her out of it. She’s hard-headed like Ridge.
Ridge got it from his mother. Ridge misses her and wishes she was there.
Eric insists if Stephanie was here, Sheila would be eaten up and spit out. Ridge laughs.
At Spencer Publications, Liam talks on a call with Erin about a bump in readership due to ads.
Finn appears. “I’m a little busy, John,” he says.
Finn doesn’t care, as long as he’s staying away from his wife.
Liam says not to come to his office and tell him what to do.
His problems with his wife are because he has yet to cut ties with Sheila.
Finn says he already told Sheila she’d never have a role in their lives.
Liam says he has to now prove he’s not vulnerable to Sheila.
Finn says he’s using Sheila to drive a wedge between him and Steffy to make a play for her.
He knows how Liam jerked Steffy around in the past. He won’t do that to her.
Steffy’s it for him. Liam says to add Sheila to that.
Finn hates to be reminded of that but Liam reminds him it’s his job to get Sheila out of LA.
He asks him to prove his love by getting rid of his mama.
They argue about whether Finn can keep his wife and the kids safe and Liam repeats himself.
He doesn’t care if Finn has to put a tracker on.
He should focus on getting Sheila out of town, not warning him.
Finn agrees, he does need to do something but Liam needs to stop sniffing around.
In Deacon’s apartment, Sheila massages him while he yelps in pain. Isn’t a massage supposed to be relaxing?
She tells him to stop being a big baby.
He’s carrying the weight of the world on his incredibly broad and strong, handsome shoulders.
She punctuates each word with a kiss on his back.
He worries he’ll lose the restaurant. When she jabs him with her elbow, he growls. “Did you get those things sharpened?”
She’s amused but promises she won’t upend his life. “Too late,” he says.
Later, Deacon downs a beer while he mentions that she’s upset when he talks about Steffy.
Sheila starts in on talking about how much she loves Finn and that she could be good in his life.
He rolls his eyes and drinks some more while Steffy talks about saving Kelly’s life and how emotional Finn became. “He called me mom.”
Steffy and the others can try to poison him against her but she believes in the bond between a mother and her son. Deacon doubts that.

He worries she’ll be heartbroken.
She loves him for that but she can’t give up on her future with her son. Today.
At home, Finn picks up the take-out containers and pop cans from the living room coffee table and the empty pizza boxes from the kitchen before Steffy walks in.
“Looks nice in here,” she says. He tells her she looks beautiful and he’s missed her. She missed him. He’s missed the kids.
He’s started a movie and tried to do normal things but it’s not the same without her.
He needs his puzzle piece.
He cries as he says he needs her.
Is she ready to come home? She too misses her puzzle piece and is moving back in.
They cry and make out and gaze into the other’s eyes.
