Nick brings up Newman Media hiring Audra Charles.
They need to be wary of her allegiances. He wouldn’t put deception past her. They don’t know her relationship to Tucker. Victor thinks she should keep working with Tucker.
It could be to their advantage. Victoria thinks it’ll force him to be on his guard.
She wants to go after McCall Unlimited but Nick thinks it’ll make him a dangerous adversary.
They can swoop in and pick the pieces up when it falls apart. Victor thinks it’ll be a golden opportunity. It’ll fit into their portfolio.
Once the kids are gone, Nikki asks Victor why he’s specifically going after Tucker. He thinks one of the divisions would be of interest to Adam when he comes back. Nikki sighs. “If he comes back.”
Billy shows up outside Chelsea’s place. He was in the neighborhood and wants to talk about the podcast.
She says it’s a bad idea. The entire podcast is. Dr. Malone thinks it’s too soon to relive the trauma before she finishes processing it.
She agrees with Malone and Billy congratulates her for going along with the doctor.
Nate and Audra arrive at Newman Media. Audra thinks Phyllis is ridiculous to pitch on Daniel’s behalf but Nate thinks it was a boon.

She was being exploratory, she says and thinks it whet their appetite.
She says they need to have a back up plan. He reminds her this is his platform. Not hers.
He won’t trust virtual strangers with his dream project. She says she thought Chancellor-Winters is dumping him and she wants to see his project come to fruition. She didn’t say anything risky.
He asks about Tucker McCall. She says he overheard her leaving a message for Nate.
She wouldn’t give him a sip of water if he was in the middle of the desert.
She calls him a snake but Daniel says he already knew Lucy and Heather leaving him was why he created the game and that it was a way for him to heal.
Phyllis says he’s good at reading people and manipulating him.
Daniel thinks he’s just showing insight. He trusts Lily to come through but Tucker could be an alternate.
Audra arrives at Tucker’s room at Grand Phoenix. He apologizes for the last time they met.
She asks why she’s there. He asks if she knows about Newman Media’s pursuit of Daniel Romalotti’s gaming platform.
“Ah, there it is.” She can see he wants to collude with her but thinks he should mend the rift with his son or Ashley.
She thinks this was all BS, wanting to make things right with them.
Tucker claims he’s sincere. He needs something to do. Audra tells him to keep his hands off of it. Tucker laughs.
He misses her and calls them good friends. She clarifies its past tense.
He drops to his knees and puts his head on her thigh and asks for a reset.
He kisses her leg and caresses her before pulling him roughly to him. They make out.

He apologizes for his mother jumping the gun.
He clarifies he’s under contract and is sorry for the confusion.
Nate aks him to stay to talk about a future collaboration. He wants to sell themselves to him.
He’s committed to Lily and her company and says his platform isn’t a ‘sell to the highest bidder’ type of thing. He leaves, making Nate more intrigued.

Victoria and Nick go to Society to eat.
She asks why he’s not sold on getting Tucker’s company.
When she notes her brother seems distant, she asks what’s up. Before he answers, Tucker appears and she asks him to join them.
Tucker laughs and asks what they’re up to. Nick wants to talk about his future plans. Nick heard that his company was in trouble. Tucker shrugs him off.
Billy walks Chelsea home and invites her out some time to dine. They’ll figure it out. He takes off.
