In the Monday, August 15, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas and his family talk about moving Douglas in with him, while Li lets Bill know about all the disrespect her husband Jack gave her.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Bill and Deacon learned of Sheila’s demise and Deacon urged Hope and Liam to go on the offensive with Thomas.
At Forrester Creations, Taylor tries to wrap her head around Sheila being dead. Ridge, Thomas, and Steffy can hardly accept it either.
Ridge wouldn’t believe it if they didn’t have DNA evidence. He waves around his photo of Sheila’s dismembered toe.
Steffy tells him he needs to run back to her mom as fast as he can. All this has reminded her that spending time with the people who matter the most is the most important thing.
Taylor tells her daughter they can make their own decisions. They kissed and it was a good kiss, but they were caught up in the moment.
“C’mon?” Steffy says, skeptically. Thomas gets a text from his son and then tells his family how much he likes to spend time with him.
Douglas asked if he missed him and that broke his heart. He hates being away from him. They say it’s time that he moves in with him.
His mom says there’s no reason Douglas shouldn’t live with him if he wants to. Steffy says his son should feel at home with him, not like he’s just visiting.
Taylor encourages him to speak to Hope. He already did. The woman smile and Ridge stares at the floor.
Thomas doesn’t want this to get contentious. His mom says it doesn’t have to be. Hope doesn’t have the right to make the decision about this.
Steffy tells her brother he could provide the loving environment his son needs. Hope can still have time with him but Thomas is the one and only living parent and it’s time that was acknowledged.
He needs to stand up to the Logans and bring his son back to the Forresters.
At Il Giardino, Deacon is shown the picture of Sheila’s toe. His daughter is sure this is hard on him. He admits that he fell for her, at least a bit.
Deacon changes the topic. Brooke admits she didn’t intend this meeting to go on so long. She’s afraid of upsetting Ridge again.
Before Brooke can leave, Deacon prompts Hope and Liam to tell her the news. Reluctantly, they explain that Thomas was Douglas to live with him full time.
Brooke thinks that would be terrible for Douglas. Hope admits that she feels for Thomas but they’ve established his home base and he’s happy.
Disrupting that would be a huge mistake. Brooke doesn’t think Thomas ever stops to think things over.
They’ve created a wonderful home for Douglas. What would this mean to everyone else? Is Thomas stable enough to care for his son on his own?
“I honestly don’t think he ever will be,” Brooke concludes.

B&B opinion: Sheila needs to go!
At Bill’s, Li tells him that how Sheila was torn apart works for her. “Good to know we think alike,” he says.
She’s relieved Sheila can’t hurt her again. He knows he’s not much of a listener, but he will listen if she wants to talk about this. When he found her, she was traumatized but she’s strong now.
“You can trust me,” he assures her. After he hands her some water, she recounts what happened with Sheila. Not much scares her, but Sheila…
She was completely lost until he found her. She doesn’t know how much longer she could have gone on.
Bill tells her that she survived because of her own inner strength. Her son was saved because of her. She’s earned his respect and admiration.
“And you have earned mine,” she adds.
Li tells him how grateful she is for how he helped her. Bill claims walking away was not an option.
She points out that taking her to his house was a risky choice and thanks him again. If it weren’t for him, Finn might still be trapped with Sheila.
Bill asks if her husband is thrilled to have her home. He soon realizes something is off. She informs him that she and Jack are no longer together.
Jack lied to her for most of their marriage. She might have gotten over his affair, but not the amount of disrespect her showed her.
