In the previous episode, Imani encouraged Nate to get ruthless, Nick gave Sally a second chance after she screwed up but warned her to get Adam out of her system.

Nick and Sally shake hands and then share a kiss.
They back up and look at one another before making out some more. They take off their clothes and move to the sofa.
They make out there and the rest of the clothes come off as Sally gets on top of Nick.
Meanwhile, Adam arrives outside the door and moves to open it when he stops.
Back inside, Sally closes her eyes, hearing Adam’s voice. She presses a finger to Nick’s lips to keep him quiet.
Outside, Adam tells Sally he saw her car in the garage. He knocks again and then leaves.
Once he’s gone, Sally kisses Nick again and he climbs on top of her. They have sex and afterward, Nick’s hungry.
They agree to get something to eat.
Lily and Victoria arrive at Crimson Lights, both on calls doing business.
They disconnect and talk about the kids.
They sit together and talk about Lily buying the Grand Phoenix.
Victoria congratulates her and is sorry that things were tense between them for a while.
She admits she was dealing with Ashland and feels like that stress affected every part of her life. She feels now she’s starting a new chapter and appreciates Lily. They’re a part of an exclusive club as female CEOs.
They need to stick together. Lily thanks her and is honored to be a part of the club. They should have a secret handshake. They laugh and Lily congratulates Victoria on the changes in her company.
Vic says they don’t do it alone and it’s important to have a team they can rely on.
Victoria learns Billy’s done with his podcast after some soul searching. Victoria wishes him the best.
They touch on what happened with Ashland and get back to talking about family dynamics at work. Lily says they’ve issues and keep it professional.

At Chancellor, Nate ignores Devon who asks if they’re not talking. Nate doesn’t want to do this now but Devon doesn’t want to prolong it.
He urges Nate to tell it like it is. Nate’s grateful.
He asks what Devon’s big problem is, and why he rejects every single idea of his. He wants an apology but Devon’s not sure what for.
Nate asks why he shot down the festival idea.
Devon wants someone who believes in him.
He says that Nate does whatever he wants to do.
He’s not the only one who sees it.
Jill noticed that he ran out on the Zoom call before it ended.
What an impression to make.
Nate thinks Jill was into his ideas and she liked the healthy debate.
Devon calls him a surgeon with a God complex when he doesn’t have to listen, but that won’t fly there.
Nate can’t believe he’s throwing that in his face and he in turn, gets in Devon’s face about that punch. “I won’t hold back this time.”
They yell back and forth until Billy rushes in and gets between them.
If he can hear them from his office, everyone left in the office can.
Nate doesn’t like that Devon acts superior and says he quits. Billy doesn’t think he means that but he insists he does. Lily turns up and Billy lets her mediate. She refuses to accept Nate’s resignation. She’ll do what it takes.
She sees both sides of their argument and knows they want what’s best for Chancellor-Winters. They’re going about it differently. If their dad was there, he wouldn’t stand for this.
Each man wants respect and doesn’t think they’re getting it. Devon agrees with Nate quitting. Lily refuses. She’s considering going public, as Jill suggested. They’re on the cusp of big things.
Nate doesn’t care. He’s done. He takes off. Lily hopes he rethinks this.
At Society, Jack doesn’t believe that Victor is giving up on his son.
Victor was proud to call Adam his son but he’s caused him issues. He has good intentions toward him and his other kids.
It’s not easy being a father. Jack says they certainly try. Victor apologizes for not conveying his condolences in regard to Keemo. Jack’s grateful. Victor remembers Jack talking about his issues with Keemo.
Jack recalls their talk and was grateful for Victor’s kindness. The one thing they’ve always agreed upon is parenting. This is why Jack doesn’t get what Victor’s thinking with Adam.
Victor knows. He tells him he met Allie and thinks she’s remarkable. Jack jokes that they may have another Newman/Abbott couple on their hands. It worked with Summer and Kyle.
They share a laugh over hell freezing over and Adam walks up, surprised to see the two talking.
Jack admits they were talking about the meaning of family, the gift a son can be to his father. Adam thinks his dad’s been bashing him but Jack admits his father had kind words about him.
Victor tells his son that he made his choice and he’s done with him. He leaves. Jack can see he’s in pain. He goes and Adam orders scotch.
He spots Sally walking in with Nick and tells Sally he stopped by.
She covers and says she was in Nick’s office. Adam wants to have dinner with them but Sally says it’s a work dinner. It’s awkward.
Nick, Sally and Adam dine. She’s starved and eats ravenously as Adam comments that she’d get hungry after late nights in the office with him. It’s uncomfortable. Adam says Nick must be a taskmaster.
Nick wants to change the discussion to news or sports. Sally gets back to talking about work.
Billy finds Victoria at Crimson Lights and she notes he’s had a rough day. He tells her about the internal conflict at work.
It’s affecting everything and has the potential to sink the ship.
It’s a disruption and he’s not sure what to do about it.
At the Boxing Club, Victor boxes his heart out.
He rests afterward, but seems upset.
At Society, Nate calls Elena.
He needs to talk and asks her to meet. He disconnects and in walks Imani.
She can see he’s furious. He can be himself with her. He admits he’s trying to calm down.
He tells her he walked away from Chancellor Winters. She rolls her eyes and looks unhappy.
Nick walks Sally to her door.
They discuss the dinner. It wasn’t as big of a disaster as it could have been.
They say goodnight.
Once Nick’s gone, Adam turns up outside her door.
He looks around and seems curious.
