In the Wednesday, September 14, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy pressures Ridge to dump Brooke, Taylor reminds Thomas that Ridge is married, and Hope worries to Liam that Steffy and Taylor will destroy her mom’s marriage.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Thomas urges Ridge to move into Eric’s house and Steffy badgered her father to dump Brooke and end the cycle of misery.
In his office at Forrester Creations, Steffy reminds her father that life is a gift. She and Finn always thought they would have a future until it was taken away. That taught her life is fleeting.
She knows he knows that so she can’t understand why he’s wasting his time on Brooke. Ridge knows she’s trying to be protective.
His daughter repeats that he needs to get out of Brooke’s and move into Eric’s. He understands what she wants but he’s married.
Steffy reminds him that Brooke cheats on him and Taylor never would. She’s waiting with love in her heart. Ridge admits he will always love her too.
“Claim the life you’ve always wanted!” she badgers. He’s not getting any younger and could have true happiness. “Go back to mom,” she says.
He smirks and shakes his head.
Thomas is with his mom at Steffy’s. She’s thrilled when he brings her a shake. She’s working from home because she hates traffic.
They chat about how great things are over at Eric’s. He says they are lucky Hope is allowing it. She squints at that and reminds him it’s not Hope’s place to “allow” it.
He changes the topic to how she belongs with Ridge. “Oh god!” she laughs.
Thomas says his sister is on the money about this. She reminds him that Ridge is married and she’s not out to steal Brooke’s husband.
Her son repeats that she belongs with Ridge and in a perfect world they would be together.
Taylor thinks Ridge should have a say in this. He’s already said all this to his dad.
“Just get together. Do it,” he urges. He concedes that he and his sister are adults and don’t need their parents together, but…. He can see what they are missing and how beautiful their dynamic is.
It’s not like Brooke who has endless problems that need to be solved. He’s sure it is only a matter of time before Ridge reunites with Taylor.
She loves him and gives him a hug.
After she’s left alone, she flashes back through that conversation until Ridge interrupts. They laugh about their kids giving them an earful. The kiss in Monaco raised their hopes.
Ridge admits the kiss was about more than being caught in the moment.
Their kids are smart and intuitive. She knows they know how much they love each other.
“I love you too Doc,” he says. She gets him to repeat that and tells him how good it sounds. She wonders if he’s ready to start a future with her.

Hope returns to the cabin and gives Liam a kiss. After they exchange I love yous, he admits it’s awkwardly quiet without Douglas around. He thinks it’s time they bring him home.
She was just talking to her mom about this and tells him what she told Brooke. Hope doesn’t want to push it and start a custody battle.
Her husband tells her not to let that fear prevent Douglas from being where he belongs.
She’s seen how happy Douglas is with his father. As much as he hates to say it, Liam admits he’s worried Thomas is getting into her head again. She reminds him this is about Douglas.
Plus, what happened with Thomas was in the past.
He admits he has the same sinking feeling about him he used to. He’s sure that Thomas is taking advantage of her kindness.
Waving his hands around, he says it’s “all classic Thomas manipulative mode stuff.”
Hope repeats she just wants to keep the peace. She’s more worried about Steffy and Taylor trying to break up her mother’s marriage.
That doesn’t sound paranoid to Liam. Brooke feels the same. Hope is convinced of it now too.
Although she doesn’t think Ridge and Brooke’s connection can be underestimated, he did kiss her in Monaco and Taylor seems to be taking every opportunity to pursue him. It’s a little bit weird to see it right before her eyes.
She hasn’t told her mom this because she’s afraid of how she will react. This needs to stop.
Thomas stops by the office to see his sister. They have both been talking to their parents about the same thing and wish they would finally listen.
As Steffy starts listing the disgusting things Brooke has done and why Ridge should dump her, Hope walks in and tells her she has a lot of nerve judging her mom.
Hope is no longer going to sit idly by and allow her and Taylor to undermine her mother’s marriage.
