General Hospital recap for Tuesday, September 13, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Sonny threatens Nikolas, Jordan covers for Stella, and Liz reconsiders coming clean.
We also have Monday’s GH recap where Stella confessed to Jordan that she stole her divorce papers and she’s still married to Curtis, and Liz wanted to come clean with the cops.
In Jordan’s office, Curtis tells her and Stella that it doesn’t make any sense that their divorce papers haven’t been filed. He thinks it’s impossible that they are still married.
“Nothing’s impossible,” Stella says. He’s confused. If either of them have a theory, he’d like to hear it. His aunt says that no one’s perfect. He thinks more is going on.
Suddenly, Jordan claims it’s her fault. She says she failed to file the paperwork. He suggests they look for them and file them now. Stella looks worried.
Jordan has no idea where the papers are. He complains this was irresponsible. Jordan apologizes for making things complicated. Curtis says they will re-file and leaves to call his lawyer.
Stella asks her why she did that. Jordan is surprised by what she did. She volunteered to take the blame. She’ll sign the papers and everything will be alright.
Stella tells her she will always be family and she’s a wonderful person. They’d both like to stay in each other’s lives. They chat about her genealogy test. “You never know what you’ll find,” Stella tells her.
When Jordan is alone, she calls the ancestry database and asks how a match could disappear. She’s told it would only happen if someone took their identity out of it.
Climbing out of the pool, Drew calls over to Marshall. He apologizes for setting him up on that fake job interview.
Marshall has realized he was just trying to be a good friend to his son. If he’d been honest with him all along, it wouldn’t have happened. They shake on it.
He appreciates him being there for Curtis when he couldn’t be. They sit down for a snack and talk about relationships until Marshall realizes he’s almost late for his date.
At General Hospital, Finn asks Liz why she’s changed her mind about telling the police about her loss of time. She admits she wonders why Nikolas leapt so quickly to giving her an alibi unless it was to protect him.
The nurse can’t imagine Nikolas tried to kill his wife. Finn points out that there were a lot of witnesses at the event and if they come forward, they could complicate things.
She points out that going to the police now will only make she and the prince look suspicious…but Ava should know.
Ava wakes up in her bed. Portia wanders in and checks her blood pressure. Ava is distracted by her giant ring and congratulates her.
They talk about Nikolas and his alibi. Ava wonders if Liz lied to the cops to cover for him.
Portia doesn’t think the nurse would lie but Ava suggests that her husband could be manipulating her. He’s capable of very bad behavior.

Out by the elevators, Sonny bumps into Nikolas. He tells the Cassadine he has no business there and threatens him. If he gets any proof that he had anything to do with this, not even Victor will be able to help him.

He and one of his men go to Ava’s room. The bodyguard and Portia bar his entrance. Curtis joins them and tells him to back off.
After the prince leaves, the doctor checks on Ava.
When she returns to Curtis, he informs her that the divorce papers where never filed. He assures her the papers are being expedited. She senses something else is going on.
Curtis admits that Jordan’s story isn’t standing up and it reminds him of how she dragged her feet on this. He thinks this might have been intentional.
Meanwhile, Liz and Finn go to see Ava. The nurse tells her she can’t guarantee that Nikolas was with her when she was attacked. His whereabouts can’t be fully accounted for.
She asks for some time to figure out the facts before she talks to the police. Ava asks them to send her bodyguard in as they leave. She tells him she needs him to do something.
The guard brings Nikolas to her room.
In a meeting room, Sasha and Brando listen to their lawyer explain what guardianship will mean for her. Only Brando has the right to terminate it. Brando tells her this is her choice. She still has options.
Sasha holds the papers and her hands shake. Her husband repeats they can call this off and find another way if she wants. Gladys tells her this isn’t permanent and Brando promises he won’t let it go on a day longer than it has to.
She signs the paperwork.
Joss meets with Carly at Charlie’s. They talk about her upcoming trip. Carly knows her daughter has a lot of distractions too.
Dex walks in and smiles at Joss. Her mom wonders if she wants to talk to him. Joss flashes back to saving Ava’s life with him but claims it’s all good and they don’t need to talk.
They get back to chatting about Carly’s trip. She looks for excuses not to go but her daughter tells her to stop stalling and focus on herself.
Carly admits she really wants to go to this seminar and get her life back on track. She flashes back to kissing Drew and then hands Joss some cash and takes off.
On her way out, Carly bumps into Sonny. They chat about her leaving and he wishes her good luck.
When Sonny enters, he chats with Dex until he spots Brando, Sasha and Gladys arriving. Gladys walks off to order food and Sasha heads to the bathroom. Brando explains to Sonny that Sasha had to agree to guardianship to avoid prison.
Sonny assures him he will do right by her and gives him a hug.
When Brando sits down with his mom, he tells her that he needs to make sure Sasha knows she has the strength to get through this. Gladys admires the man he has become, despite the way she raised him. She’s so grateful he let her back into his life.
He’s proud of her too. The past is the past and he appreciates her stepping up.
Sonny runs into Sasha as she comes out of the bathroom. He asks how she feels. She loves Brando and trusts him but feels like an intruder in her life.
He can understand that and tells her to be strong. Brando came into his life late. He’s family and that makes her family. If she ever needs anything, he will be there for her.
On her way out, Joss tells Dex there’s something they need to get straight. She thanks him again for helping her find Avery’s bracelet. She judged him hard and feels bad for it.
Joss still thinks he’s an idiot for working for Sonny. He wrecks people and she doesn’t want him to be one of those people.
She admits that she didn’t tell anyone, including her boyfriend, about him helping he and would like them to keep it quiet.
After he leaves, she takes off down the alley. Brando steps outside to take care of something and the person with the hook appears and attacks him.
Carly sits on her flight. After twiddling her thumbs, she calls Ridge and gets his voicemail.
Back in Port Charles, he gets her call and calls back, leaving a message saying he’ll be there whenever she can talk.
On the flight, Carly is checking her phone when the plane starts to shake.
