In the Friday, June 24, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Eric asks Quinn about Carter’s feelings, Paris turns to Hope for support, and Grace refuses to support her daughter’s choice.
We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Grace was outraged by Carter and Paris’ engagement and Ridge wondered what the rush was.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge tells Carter that his plan to marry Paris makes no sense when he is still in love with Quinn. With a little badgering, Carter screams that he loves Quinn and it’s driving him insane.
He can’t stop thinking about Quinn. He needs to move on by marrying Paris. They are over. Nothing will ever happen between them again. Not having her is tearing him apart but he can’t stay frozen.
Ridge wonders where Eric fits in all this. Carter says he stays with his wife. Part of why he’s marrying Paris is because he was afraid she would tell Eric her suspicions about his feelings for his former lover.
Carter refuses to let anyone disrupt Quinn’s happiness. Ridge suggests he get to know Paris and date her before he marries her. His friend is determined to marry her tomorrow and wants Ridge to be there to support it.
Down the hall, Grace tells her daughter that marriage needs a foundation of love and trust, not a flashy ring. She’s making a huge mistake and she can’t support it. Paris hates being at odds with her, but nothing and no one is going to stop this wedding.
Hope walks in as Paris goes on about getting engaged. She assumes she’s talking about Zende and gets excited. Grace corrects that impression. Hope looks like she’s stepped in something.
Grace starts rambling about how great Zende is and then suggests her daughter is tossing all that away to marry a “hustler.” She doesn’t trust him to honor and cherish her. It won’t end well.
Paris tells her not to come to the wedding and asks to talk to Hope alone. Grace walks out. Hope tries to decide what face to make and starts waving her hands around.
She’s not going to get in the middle of the mother-daughter dynamic, so she admires her ring and asks if she’s happy. Paris wants her support.
Hope thinks Carter is great but asks if she’s sure about this. Her friend says no one will talk her out of this and invites her to the wedding. She repeats that she loves Carter and wants to be his wife
As Hope hugs her and agrees to be there, Carter walks in with a big smile.
Once Hope leaves them alone, Carter tells Paris he’s sorry for the tension he’s causing with her mom. She tells him that the have Hope’s blessing and she’s thrilled he wants to get married in such a rush.
She thinks they should invite Zende and Bill. He suggests they get Charlie to be the minister and they can have the ceremony at Il Giardino. She leaps up and down when he announces they are dong it tomorrow.
Zende is working out with his trainer when Grace shows up. He notices she has something on her mind. She’s only ever wanted her daughters to have good lives. “Carter proposed!” she bellows.
He’s surprised. She orders him to stop the wedding from happening. Sobbing, she tells him not to let Carter take her baby away. He gets that she means well but he’s not going to grovel.
Zende thought Paris was the one for him but she’s made her choice. He takes his water bottle and leaves.

At home, Eric tells Quinn that he’s fond of Carter and he deserves everything good in life. He asks if he’s confided in her about Paris. Does she think he really loves her? Quinn says it doesn’t matter what she thinks.
She’s visibly uncomfortable as her husband goes on about Carter’s feelings. She says they can only hope he makes the right decision. That sounds enigmatic to him. She claims it’s not her place to have an opinion.
He gets a text and has to go to the club. After he bustles off, she looks at her portrait on the wall and remembers Carter bringing it to her.
When Ridge arrives, he thinks of his conversation with Carter and stares at Quinn’s portrait.
Meanwhile, Quinn arrives at Forrester Creations and walks in on Carter making wedding arrangements. He explains he’s getting married tomorrow. It’s impossible for him to go on burning for a woman out of his reach.
“You have no idea how sorry I am,” she says. He repeats that he can’t live like this anymore, but he will always love her. She has tears in her eyes. “I’ll always love you too,” she says.
