Thursday’s Early B&B recap: Luna’s Stunned When RJ Suggests Bill Spencer’s Her Father While Li tells Poppy that Bill is Off Limits to Her
In the CEO room at Forrester Creations, RJ doesn’t think it’s a stretch that Bill and Poppy hooked up.
Luna believes that’s possible but suggesting that he’s her father is crazy. RJ doesn’t think so.
They haven’t forgotten each other after 20 years and they talk about how special the night they spent together was.
The math checks.
In the beach house, Diana, Bill’s realtor, drops by to give him the lease agreement.
She’s surprised he’d let it go since it’s a romantic setting to impress the ladies.
Her flirting is lost on him since he’s only interested in impressing Poppy. He walks the realtor out.
Poppy sits at the cafe and thinks of her date with Bill.
She hasn’t forgotten that magical night.
She continues to flash back to their last call about the forces bringing them back together and how he wants to spend more time with her and her daughter.
He wants her to meet his son.
Poppy thinks Bill’s right that they were brought together for a reason. She looks at his photo online and smiles.

B&B January comings and goings
Back at Forrester, Ginge interrupts RJ and Poppy to tell him Bill Spencer’s on the phone.
RJ answers it and learns from Bill that they can get the lease signed today and he can officially move in.
RJ thanks the man and will be right over.
Luna’s too busy moping over the thought that Bill’s her dad.
RJ thinks it’s time to ask her mom if it’s true. He repeats himself that they met 20 years ago, spent a magical night and then went their separate ways.
He loves her and just wants to answer the questions that have plagued her.
Back at the beach house, Bill texts Poppy to meet.
She smiles and texts that she’d like to see him. He can’t wait to create magic with her.
Luna goes to the design room and considers RJ’s words.
She paces and calls her mama to meet.
Poppy jokes about being popular today and tells her she’ll stop by Forrester.
Poppy asks if something’s wrong but Luna says maybe something is right.
“I’ll be right there,” Poppy says as Luna stares at Bill’s photo with curiosity.
Later, Poppy arrives and calls her kid an inspiration for going after what she wants.
Luna says she gets it from her mom.
She brings up her mom meeting Bill and admits RJ has her thinking of something… “Okay,” Poppy says, nervously.
“It’s about my father,” Luna finishes. Whenever she brings him up, Poppy shuts down or changes the subject.
She wants to find out who her father is.
Poppy rubs her neck and Luna says RJ was helping her to put the pieces together.
She reminds her that she acted like she didn’t remember Bill when they got reacquainted.
But she does remember him. RJ did the math and though she loves her mom, and isn’t trying to be offensive, she realized Bill could be her father.
She outright asks and Poppy’s eyes fill with tears.
At the beach house, RJ’s pumped to move in. Bill asks if his parents are okay with him moving out.
RJ says they’re not overly excited that he’s moving into one of Bill’s properties but it’s his money.
Bill says his realtor even said it’s tough to beat if you want a romantic setting.
RJ apologizes for the embarrassing encounter with Poppy.
Bill brushes it off and RJ starts to dig for information about them seeing each other.
Spencer says he’s working on it. RJ asks how they met and Bill talks about finding her dancing. 
He asks after him and Luna and RJ says he’s crazy about her.
Bill thinks Luna’s heart is in good hands. RJ asks about Poppy and Bill says he wants the best for her.
A relationship with her.
He doesn’t believe in things being fated but he thinks they’re drawn together for a reason.
He also wants to get to know Luna. RJ thinks he’ll be more impressed, the more he gets to know her.
