Friday, Jan 19, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Eric and Ridge share an emotional father-and-son moment; R.J. takes Luna to his newly rented beach house as Bill romances Poppy at the same spot.
Thursday’s Early B&B recap: Sheila and Deacon are Less Than Thrilled as Poppy Dances for Bill at Il Giardino, While Eric Returns Home to Family
Eric’s mansion
In the living room at Eric’s mansion, Eric tells Ridge he found unconditional love with him.
They talk about how Stephanie was waiting for him when he died.
“Wonderful, impossible Stephanie was there.”
Ridge wants to know if he let him down by having him revived.
Eric understands and says it’s okay. He went to the other side and found out how beautiful it was.
As wonderful as it was, he’s glad to be home.
Suddenly, Zende rushes into the house and to his grandfather.
“Granddad! Granddad!”
He’s so happy that he’s home.
Filled with the energy of three men, Zende asks how Eric’s feeling and says he looks great.
Eric’s great and ready to to back to work. Everyone freaks out but Eric laughs.
He’s thankful Zende visited him in the hospital. Zende asks him never to leave again.
He’s sorry he kept his illness a secret and says dying made him feel they should live their lives the way they want but not be afraid to die.
Brooke says they should cherish life.
Ridge calls him in inspiration and the women tell him they love him. He loves them.
Il Giardino
At Il Giardino, Poppy asks if she embarrassed Bill. He enjoyed it very much, loves that side of her. She thinks he should try it.
“Oh no no, my impetuous disco side is gone.” He says he’d clear the place out but it might be a good thing.
He won’t have to share her. She grins.
He wants to be alone with her to dance “or whatever, all night long.”
When his phone vibrates, Poppy asks if he’s going to get that.
He is entranced with her. He can’t stop thinking of her and hasn’t forgotten.
He knows she hasn’t, either. They leave the restaurant.

B&B January comings and goings
Forrester Creations, design room
Luna arrives at the design room at Forrester to RJ, shirtless and putting on some silky number.
She stops and eats a stick of gum before he tells her that his gramps is getting out of the hospital.
She’s happy for everyone.
RJ tells her he found a beach house that’s close to Steffy’s place. He moves in today.
They make out and Wyatt interrupts, sorry for the timing since they were kissing.
He hands over the keys to the beach house and jokes about making another set for Luna.
They ask where he’ll go. He’s not sure. Maybe L.A. or spread his wings. Wyatt goes and Luna isn’t used to being with Wyatt. He doesn’t get it.
She says her life was different. Her mom is a ballerina, a singer and she used to make tie-dyed shirts and sell them at festivals.
She’s glad she waited for the right guy. He invites her to the beach house.
The Beach House
Poppy and Bill wind up at the beach house.
She loves it and he tells her that his son used to live there.
She pops a breath mint and he questions her. She brushes it off.
Wyatt found a renter but he has to figure out what to do with it long term.
He thinks he should keep it and use it to romance her. They kiss.
Bill talks up how she danced in front of the bonfire and reminds her once again she was like nobody he’s ever known then or since.
She feels this is leading somewhere. “I hope to the bedroom,” he says and tries to drag her away.
She stops him. It’ll sound crazy, but her sister Li is judgemental and thinks she’s always coming on to wealthy men.
Her sister’s wrong. She doesn’t need a man. Bill knows but he thinks she wants him like he wants her.
They kiss some more and head to the bedroom.
RJ and Luna arrive, let themselves in and she finds it “awesome.”
He hopes she likes it because they will be spending a lot of time there.
In the bedroom, Poppy takes Bill’s shirt off then hers and he kisses her.
