Fri Oct 27 recap of B&B: RJ tells Luna Eric is dying, Ridge wants this competition over with, and Charlie assures Esther she will get the gown of her dreams.
Thursday’s B&B recap: RJ was emotional when Eric disclosed he’s dying and begged him to tell Ridge.
Katie finds Eric in the Forrester Creations showroom.
He’s feeling like he was born to do this.
Donna joins them and he says this never gets old.
He still feels the thrill and anticipation.
Katie reminds him of what the doctors said.
He’s never felt more alive and kisses Donna.
In his office, Ridge is fiddling with dresses and complains that Carter has jinxed him.
Carter reminds him of the stakes in this competition and Ridge says he’s never been more ready.
Paris and Zende arrive after fixing an outfit. Zende admits that Eric taught him how.
Down the hall, RJ thanks the models and asks them to make sure Eric gets a final look at them before the showing.
Once they file out, Luna notices RJ was choking up.
He tells her that his grandfather confirmed that he is dying.
She gives him a hug. They are in shock.
She wonders if his granddad should be doing this and feels awful.
He’s even more conflicted now about telling his father.
She’ll do whatever she can to help.

Daily B&B spoilers into October
Brooke and Donna are in the showroom talking to Fannie.
Donna loves her music.
Countess von Frankfurt joins them and then Lauren and Esther.
Esther’s jaw drops. She can’t believe she’s there.
The Countess tells her to close her mouth before she catches some flies.
After Esther grabs an hors d’oeuvre, she jokes the Countess must be waiting for the frankfurters.
That doesn’t go over well.
When Esther goes off to see Charlie, the Countess asks Lauren what that “creature” is doing there.
Charlie jokingly demands a ticket from Esther.
She whips out her feather duster and he hopes this show is as entertaining as her.
Lauren joins them and Charlie asks if they are buying.
Esther whips out her wads of cash and says it’s always been a dream of hers to own a Forrester original.
Charlie promises she will find the gown of her dreams.
This is the finest collection he’s ever seen.
Brooke returns to Ridge in the office, telling him she know how much he loves his father.
Ridge also just wants this over.
She notes all his nervous energy and guesses he’s worried about going into battle with his father.
He claims it is adrenaline.
He doesn’t like competing against his father but has to pull this off for the good of the company.
After he paces around the room, Carter pokes his head in to announce it’s showtime.
Brooke kisses Ridge for luck.
Eric is joined by Donna backstage and tells him things are ready to go.
He wants to watch from back there and tells her to enjoy the beauty of his final collection.
They embrace.
Ridge and Brooke arrive in the showroom as the guests take their seats.
Katie stands up to introduce all the people who made this possible.
She runs through the family, their assistants, and her sisters.
They are honored to have people there from all over the world.
Katie explains the rules and how no one will know whose designs they are buying.
Eric and Ridge eye each other up.
Katie promises everyone opulence, elegance, and reinvention.
They are getting a first look at the new couture collection.
Hundreds of hours have gone into every design.
Eric and Ridge have poured more of themselves into every design than ever before.
After everyone claps, Eric slips backstage.
The models come out and the audience sighs.
Donna tells Brooke that the first design is pure class like her honey bear.
Eric’s design is in black and Ridge’s in red.
Ridge heads backstage to tell his father they are off to the races.
They taunt each other.
Eric says this will be his grand finale.
When his son leaves him, he starts coughing and has to lean against the wall.
