Finn and Liz arrive at the cabin in Vermont.
She’s impressed by how comfy and perfect it is.
He finds a stake and hammer.
She jokingly asks if they are hunting vampires.
They go outside to tap trees.
When they find one, he helps her hit a tree with a hammer.
The sap starts running immediately.
She gets him to suck it off her finger and they kiss.
They keep tapping but he keeps failing so she teases him.
Eventually, they get hungry and go back to the cabin with their sap buckets.
As they wash their hands, they kiss.
They decide dinner can wait.
Laura visits Alexis. She thanks her for keeping her eye on Esme while she was out of town.
Esme eavesdrops on them.
Alexis tells the mayor what a good job Esme has done and how darling her baby is.
They talk about her trip around Europe searching for Nikolas.
It was all a dead end until she checked in with his banker.
They got confirmation he’d been there and has been moving money around.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t want to be found. That makes Alexis sad.
Laura wishes she could get through to her son. Alexis reminds her he did a lot of bad things and made bad choices.
The mayor asks how severe the charges against him would be if he returned.
She’s not sure. Esme can’t remember anything. All they have is a statement from Liz.
Alexis doubts he would face charges but he still wouldn’t come back even if he knew.
She’s sure he doesn’t want to face the people he disappointed and has resources to disappear.
All they can do is let him figure this out.
Laura worries that he’s missing moments in his baby’s life that he will never get that back.
They discuss Cyrus and whether he can, or deserves to be, rehabilitated.
Laura finds it hard to imagine her brother as a productive member of society.
Laura isn’t sure what to think and will have to speak to Martin.
Esme interrupts to remind her boss she has a conference call in a few minutes.
The mayor takes off.
Esme asks Alexis if she can have a raise.
She wants to move out the penthouse and admits she’s starting to have feelings for Spencer.
At General Hospital, TJ asks Mason to roll over so he can inspect his injury.
Mason demands more drugs.
The doctor tells him he’s on the right level of pain meds.
Mason asks for an older doctor and repeats that he needs more drugs.
TJ tells him to stay calm but Mason loses it and complains he didn’t keep his mouth shut in captivity either.
TJ realizes he’s one of the men who held him captive.
He tells him he will pay for what he did and strides out.
Austin enters and asks his cousin what he told the cops.
Mason told them he kidnapped Ava for him. He laughs at his cousin’s expression. That was just a joke.
He hasn’t talked to them yet. Maybe when they offer him a deal.
He plans to tell them they were in on the kidnapping together.
The doctor doesn’t think they will ever believe it.
Mason claims he will put the blame on him. His cousin wonders why and points out he will go down regardless.
“I will take you down with me,” Mason says. He wants to see how high and mighty he is when they are sharing a prison cell.

It’s a surprise to Spencer that he’s been released.
Trina complains he’s bothering her but Cyrus says he’s just there to buy something.
She refuses to buy that.

After describing a chemical bond, she’s exhausted and needs a break.
Dex shows up and she throws her arms around him while Adam stares.
He thinks they could use a few more hours of studying but Joss needs fresh air.
As she gets her coat, she thanks Adam and they arrange to study some more on Thursday.
He awkwardly packs and exits.
