In the Wednesday, June 14, 2023, full episode recap of Bold and the Beautiful, Hope suggests Liam come to Rome, Brooke tells her sisters that Ridge is keeping her at a distance, and Thomas repeats that nothing will happen.

Hope finishes packing at the cabin as soon as she opens a brochure and sees a picture of Thomas, she starts fantasizing about riding him.
Liam snaps her out of that and tells her the kids want souvenirs from Rome. They’ll miss her. He’s excited for her and is sure the press will love the line.
When he brings up Thomas, she shakes her head. They rehash the point of the trip.
If he’s that concerned, maybe he should just come along.
Liam thinks. He doesn’t want to be her chaperone. He just wants Thomas pulled from the trip.
She can’t force Thomas not to go, especially not now. Plans have been solidified.
Her husband keeps begging. This just doesn’t feel right.
Hope can’t do what he’s asking her to do. He repeats that Thomas doesn’t have to be there.
She tells him if he doesn’t want to come, he has to accept that Thomas will be there. It’s just a business trip. This is not the note she wanted to leave on but she has to go.
Hope leaves sobbing. Liam stares. He flashes back to Steffy telling him his wife has feelings for another man. He stares at the family portraits.

At the Forrester Creations office, Ridge impresses Taylor by finding his passport. She’d love to go with him and the kids and will miss them.
Thomas gives her a hug. She says Brooke won’t be missing her on this trip. The timing isn’t in her favor.
She wishes everyone well and tells her son that this will be one of many successes in his career. Thomas tells her she’s woven into every fiber of everything he creates.
Taylor commends him for all his healing and he tells her not to worry about anything happening with Hope.
She’s proud and hugs him.
She’s left alone in the office for a moment. Ridge joins her and they talk about how happy they are for their son.
He doesn’t want to talk about the Brooke drama. She’s sure that she will never own her part of this and will continue her smear campaign.
Taylor tells him she will always love him. He’s a hard man to shake.
In Brooke’s office, her sisters are backing her up for breaking the pact. They think Taylor is messed up.
Brooke has realized that, deep in her heart, Ridge is the love of her life. The sisters say if that’s what she wants, it’s what she’ll get and maybe sooner than she thinks.
Brooke says that Ridge is being cautious right now since the cycle ended. Now Ridge is questioning things and seems to be keeping her at bay to avoid future pain.
Her sisters keep trashing Taylor and tell Brooke now nothing is holding her back from being with Ridge.
She’s worried because he calls her “Brooke” instead of “Logan” now. It sounds like he’s given up on love and doesn’t believe in destiny any more.
Katie thinks the magic of Rome will change that. Carter shows up to say it won’t be magical without her.
Her sisters leave and Katie says she just wants to take Carter home and lock her in her bedroom. She’ll miss him. He’ll miss her too. They kiss.
Meanwhile, Brooke gives Donna a hug and promises to throw a coin in the Trevi fountain for her. Donna is sure this trip will change everything for Ridge.
Steffy, Brooke, Carter and Ridge are all on the jet, waiting for Hope and Thomas.
Thomas arrives and Brooke says Hope will be there any moment. She rushes aboard. The pilot tells them to buckle up.
Brooke makes sure everything is okay between her daughter and Liam. Hope says Rome will be incredible.
Ridge breaks out the champagne as Hope and Thomas exchange looks.
