In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Nick calls in Victor for help, Lily tells Daniel that Phyllis should go to prison, and Diane and Summer fight about Phyllis’s guilt.

At home, Sharon shoves the photos of bound and captive Faith in Nick’s face.
This is why she needs to go and see Cameron for herself.
Nick wants to rip Kirsten apart with his hands. He’s determined to pound him into the ground.
Sharon worries that would only put their daughter in more danger.
Victor shows up and is appalled to learn that his security team has failed to prevent this from happening.
He offers Nick an army if he needs one.
Sharon points out this will only make things worse.
She needs to see Cameron alone.
Victor says it could be a trap. She’s sure it is.
Cameron has likely thought out every angle.
Victor thinks that going is insane but she should arm herself if she does. She assumes that Cameron isn’t planning on hurting her so she’s the only one with the power to control this.
Nick insists on going as a backup.
He and the security team will keep their distance. Victor calls a special ops guy to help in the rescue and thanks Sharon for risking her life to save his granddaughter.
Nick hates this plan. It’s taking all Sharon has not to fall apart.
But she doesn’t have time for that and neither does their baby.
They tell themselves that everything will be fine.
Chance shows up and they fill him in about Cameron’s demands and the picture.
The cop thanks them for telling him. He explains that he found a deed to an abandoned garage outside of town in Kirsten’s room.
They wonder if that’s where he’s keeping Faith. This all seems too easy for Nick.
Chance offers to check out the garage and suggests they stay there.
As soon as he’s gone, Nick and Sharon agree they need to go to the motel anyway, take Cameron out, and bring their daughter home alive.
He doesn’t want her to go in completely unarmed and suggests they tape a knife to her leg.
After he duct tapes it to her, she says she’ll do whatever it takes to get their daughter back.
They go over their strategy again and arrange to meet in ten minutes after he’s talked to the security team.
Once he’s gone, she checks her blade.
Cameron wanders down the steps.
“Hi Sharon. It’s just you and me,” he says.
Lily finds Daniel enjoying an adult beverage at Society and contemplating life’s mysteries.
She assumes something is happening with Phyllis.
He’s guessing the next time he sees his mom or sister they will be behind bars.
She gets a drink and he tells her his family wants him to do all he can to prevent them from going to prison.
He can’t see his mom turning herself in. She’s gone on the run.
She’s sorry he’s stuck in the middle of this. Lily doesn’t think it would hurt for Phyllis to do some time.
She knows that her experience behind bars was short but it gave her a totally different perspective.
It was hard but she came out a better person.
He points out she was okay before that.
She knows not everyone comes out better, but it might be good for Phyllis to see other people have harder lives.
He’s not about to turn his mother in but he thanks her for being helpful in a “perverse kind of way.”
All of this just seems so uncertain.

At the Abbott estate, Summer admits to Diane that she’s known her mom is alive for a while now.
She asks Jenkins to let her have it.
“I’ve already forgiven you,” says Diane. Summer thinks she might regret that. Diane is sure she knows the details already.
Her stepdaughter could have got the charges against her dropped sooner.
That’s not something she’s okay with but she understands it was an impossible situation.
Diane adds she’ll do all she can to get Kyle to convince her.
“Thanks, Diane,” she says. Jenkins doesn’t think she deserves the blame when it was her mom’s psychotic plan.
Summer thinks everything was Stark’s master plan and then starts blaming Diane for causing this.
Diane thinks it’s naive to think that Phyllis was innocent in any of this. Summer is sure her mom was forced and stomps off.
Di-Di shakes her head.
Summer runs into Mariah at Crimson Lights. She asks if she’ll be sending the flowers back now that Phyllis isn’t dead.
Summer is not in the mood for this. Mariah may not think much of her, but even she is surprised by what she’s done.
Even if she can understand what she did, she doesn’t agree with it.
Summer asks if she is on her and Kyle’s side. Does she still believe that they belong together as a couple?
Mariah assumes she wants her to convince Kyle to forgive her. That doesn’t go over well.
Although she’ll admit that Summer has matured and is a good mother, she’s still her mother’s daughter and has a streak of selfish recklessness.
She was hoping her marriage would work out, but she needs to take a very hard look at what she’s done to Kyle.
Mariah urges her to give him the time he needs. She’s not sure she’ll ever regain his trust and that’s her own fault.
Kyle drinks at the bar in Neil’s Jazz Lounge and thinks back over his recent fights with Summer and how she’s been lying to his face.
Audra sidles up to him. He recalls that she found his phone.
She remembers the night Phyllis supposedly died. He tells her the rumors about that night might all be true.
She seems nice but he doesn’t talk about his personal life with strangers.
She thinks strangers have a clearer perspective and no judgment.
After she promises that she’s a good listener, he doubts she’s an “innocent listener.”
From what he’s heard, she has ambitions.
He’s not sure it’s wise to confide in an “achiever.” She confirms that she’s an achiever.
He reminds her of what she achieved with his brother-in-law. She insists Noah is all in the past.
Kyle tells her she can talk while he drinks. She explains how she came to Genoa City and how she found her “true self” working with Nate.
The Abbott wonders where she goes next. Audra tells him ambition is not a dirty word to her and some people are ashamed of their own desires.
He wonders if she’s still talking about work. Kyle is thankful she’s distracting him.
She’ll consider the night a success if she cheered him up at all. He takes off.
When Summer gets home, she’s startled to find Kyle there.
She starts babbling about Bumpy the Camel and how Harrison is memorizing it.
She asks if they can talk.
“Not tonight,” he says, walking off.
In the previous episode, Chance dug up clues, and Sharon lost it after she was sent a photo of Faith in captivity, tied up.
