In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Diane is frightened by Stark, Kyle goes off on Ashley, and Summer is upset to find her dad with Sally.

Sally spots Nick outside of Society and almost leaves.
Instead, she flirts with him. He flirts back and opens the door. Inside, Lauren spots them.
Sally tells Nick she can get her own table but Nick says he’s still working through something where they’re concerned but he could use company while he “crushes some pancakes.”
Michael and Lauren greet them. They make small talk. It’s awkward as can be and they go to their own table while Lauren speculates about their relationship.
Michael couldn’t care less. At their own table, Sally feels Lauren’s eyes burrowing into her back.
Back at Lauren’s table, Michael’s thinking about frittatas while Lauren’s still wondering if something is going on with Nick and Sally.
Michael starts talking about something on the menu reminding him of New Orleans and the food.
He tells his wife that Nick and Sally may be falling in love.
She thinks it’s a little fast but Michael thinks she fell for him in a matter of seconds.
She laughs at that. He says it was the opposite.
He fell for her in the blink of an eye.
Back at their table, Sally and Nick talk about how Lauren’s still staring but Nick’s learned not to care about the scrutiny.
She asks if he’s read everything that Victor’s guys dug up on her. He has.
She’s been involved in shady dealings, some of which he may not know about.
She’s not proud but she’ll tell all if he wants.
Summer arrives and sneers at seeing her dad with Sally.
Sally gives them a minute and Summer sits with her dad.
Nick talks up Sally and says she’s done some stuff she’s not proud of.
He reminds his daughter that she’s done some nasty things too, as has her mom and thinks Sally deserves a shot at redemption like they were able to get.
Supergirl’s not so sure but he insists she regrets the way she behaved toward her.
Summer thinks she’s after his cash but Nick says that’s BS.
He offered her a lot and she turned him down.
She won’t even take a loan.
Summer finds that interesting.
Sally goes to Lauren’s table and Lauren says she’s sorry about the job.
Sally thanks her and they talk about her plan.
Sally’s got something percolating.
Lauren says Chelsea’s not designing for Fenmore’s or Marchetti.
Sally wonders if she’s ready to forgive her and trust her again. Lauren considers that.
She’s not sure. She’s done some things in her past that she’s not proud of.
Michael agrees and they both say that she got a second chance. She gives Sally one.
Sally appreciates it and says she’s not going to go back into designing. But she thanks Lauren.
Once she’s gone, Michael says he loves Lauren. He gets a ping from his phone.
Victor wants him and it’s important. Lauren huffs. He goes and Sally heads back to Nick.
Summer leaves and Nick fills Sally in on what he said to his kid.
Jack and Diane talk about the weather at the mansion.
She’s all smiles and thanks him for letting her stay over.
She got up early so nobody in the house would get the wrong impression.
Ashley turns up demanding answers.
Jack grumps about wanting to protect Diane and she leaves for the office while Ashley rolls her eyes.
Jack asks if she had anything to do with Stark showing up at their house.
She in turn asks if Diane’s there just to get into his bed but says no, she didn’t have anything to do with him being in town.
Jack goes and Kyle snaps at his aunt for having something to do with this.
Ashley seems guilty. Kyle warns that he’ll find out who is responsible and hold them accountable.
Kyle appears and tells his dad and aunt that he confronted Jeremy last night at Grand Phoenix.
Jack worries since that’s where Diane lives now. He calls someone to get them to pick her up from work and take her home, daily.
Jack tells them about Diane’s warning from Stark and Kyle’s furious with Phyllis and whoever helped but his mom in this situation.
He goes and she arranges to meet Tucker.

At Crimson Lights, Victoria and Nikki talk about Nate working for them and how distracted Nick is about Sally’s firing.
He’s taken it personally. Nikki gasps at seeing Jeremy Stark, the money launderer. He just got out of prison.
Nikki looks guilty as Vicky asks what her mama did. Nikki calls it complicated.
Stark gazes at them as Nikki suggests they discuss it elsewhere. They go.
Diane finds Phyllis knocking at Jack’s door. She says he’s not here.
Phyllis wanted to clear some stuff up. She mocks Diane’s sobbing from yesterday and Diane gloats that she spent the night at Jack’s place.
Phyllis outright asks if she’s had sex with Jack.
Diane acts demure and then admits she slept in the guest room. Phyllis asks why.
Diane tells her that Jack was concerned about Stark’s threat. Suddenly, Stark gets off the elevator.
“Diane, I thought I might find you here.”
Stark is introduced and the women say they’re not friends.
Diane thinks she’s the one who called him and told him where she was.
Phyllis calls it preposterous.
Stark says Phyllis’ voice does seem familiar. She just has one of those voices.
She moves to go and Diane asks her to stick around.
She has something to talk to her about.
Jeremy says they need to talk and Phyllis refuses to stay.
She goes and Stark says they have to continue their conversation from yesterday. Diane tries to get him to go but when he won’t, she shuttles him into Jack’s office.
He tells her to stop playing games. He heard she was instrumental in getting him put away.
She denies it. He steps toward her. He doesn’t believe her. She warns that she can call security.
He’s not out for revenge. He touches her face and she flings his hand off. He just wants his money.
It’s all the money he has. She doesn’t have it. He asks how that’s possible.
She used it to rebuild her life. “You left me high and dry!”
She kept waiting for the feds to lock her up for crimes he forced her to do.
Stark yells that it wasn’t hers to spend. Jack arrives.
At the Newman office, Nikki recaps to Vicky everything that happened with Phyllis telling Stark where he could find Diane.
Vicky’s no fan of Diane but thinks it’s extreme.
Nikki says she and Ashley agree. Victor arrives.
He tells the women he heard Stark’s in town.
He informs them that he’s dangerous. “The threat is real.”
He won’t be allowed in the building.
He wants them to stay away from Phyllis, too.
Nikki says they’ve already separated from her kind of.
Later, the women go and Michael arrives. Victor wants him to look into Jeremy Stark.
