In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Diane meets with Stark and they come to an agreement, as Lily and Billy return from therapy reeling. In the previous episode, Sally thanked Adam for his concern, Devon and Lily argued about the IPO and Jack and Ashley bickered.

After their therapy appointment, Lily and Billy sit at Society. It’s awkward as they discuss the weather, before finally admitting that their first session was brutal.
Billy says the guy was hard. He didn’t even chuckle as Billy tried to make a joke. He suggests they try someone else.
Lily asks if he disagreed with the anything the therapist said.
“Nope,” Billy says. The man was on point.
He doesn’t want therapy to be sugar-coated. He’s just processing.
“Me too,” she says. They’ve been going in opposite directions for a while.
They have so little common ground that Lily believes they were destined to end up like this.
They decide to have a drink and start snuggling. Later, they seem distant and she says she needs to take a walk.
He tries to make her feel better about them, promising they’ll do what it takes to make things work.
Lily says this has been going on for months and they don’t need to keep doing this. They can’t keep doing this.
She kisses his cheek and goes checking her phone on the way out.
She sees a text from Daniel, asking how her therapy went.
Sally works from home on her laptop at Grand Phoenix when Nick drops by. She lets him in and he says he thought she was ghosting him.
Her pregnancy pamphlet is nearby.
She picks it up and crumples it and tosses it, making Nick curious.
She covers that it’s ideas she drafted for work.
He wants to take a look but she stops him. She lies that she’s struggling with a proposal and he suggests she take a break.
She’s starving but wants to keep working so he suggests takeout.
Nick takes off to grab food and she rifles through her garbage and rips up the pregnancy papers and covers them in the bottom of the bin.
At the Abbott house, Summer puts Harrison to bed and finds Kyle in the living room. Kyle is upset about the bomb she dropped on him about leaving Genoa City.
Does she really want to take their son out of the country? Summer claims she’s just talking about a short trip to the textile show in Paris.
He thinks this is more than that. He presses and she admits she wants their kid away from danger. Kyle tells her that everything they’re doing for Diane is necessary but she disagrees.
Things are spinning and they’re getting dug into this mess deeper. She Snaps. “What’s next!” He promises that Harrison is safe and asks what he can do to make her comfortable.
She needs relief and doesn’t see the end in sight. Again, Kyle makes promises but she swears, Harrison can tell there’s a change in them.
Kyle doesn’t see how a trip can help that.
She thinks a change in scenery will help. She’ll bring the nanny and stay on top of business. She may get more work done if she’s away.
He understands where she’s coming from. Summer asks him to go with her.
He can’t leave his mother but he can’t bear this coming between them.
He thinks this is about Phyllis but she yells that it’s nothing to do with her mom.
They argue and she defends Phyllis but he reminds her this is Phyllis’ fault.
They hate to argue and wind up in a hug, realizing they want to protect one another. They start kissing.
At Crimson Lights, Diane tells Jack not to worry in a text. She’s got this. Sharon finds him distracted and questions if he’s okay.
He’s upset about someone close to him. She leaves as he texts Diane to see how she is.
Sharon runs into Chance. She tells him she’s dying to know how Tessa and Mariah are doing, meeting a woman who they may adopt from.
She asks how he is and he talks about getting joy from wrapping up his cases. She asks how he’s doing emotionally and he says the anticipation of seeing Dom used to get him out of bed in the morning. Everything has changed.
She gets it. Rey’s gone and Faith moved out. They talk about having new habits in place. They get an idea.

Diane meets Jeremy at Glam Club. He calls her lovely and remembers how chic she always was when they went out. She laughs and takes champagne from him.
She hopes this means they can celebrate. He is reminded of the Ibiza club they were at.
They talk about how wild the club scene was. If he was to reunite with her and use their skills, they couldn’t go back to their old method of business and not through their same party spots.
He assumes the feds would find out. She charms him and thinks they could come up with something else.
He suggests they travel separately. She suggests they don’t leave the country or city. Work Genoa City. He likes that.
She has ideas for targets, as does he. He looks around, thinking this is the perfect money laundering venue.
He can see himself having a piece of this place. Diane’s smile falters. Victor Newman’s grandson owns it.
The hotel is owned by powerful families that they don’t want to cross. Stark thinks she’s making excuses but she knows this town.
It’s a headache he doesn’t need. Jeremy takes her lead. He tells her she needs to pass his loyalty test.
He doesn’t want to be her sucker and doesn’t trust her yet. She tells him she’s back at the hotel.
They’re neighbors. He suggests they share a suite and she balks at that, reminding that they’ll soon have so much money they won’t need to do that.
He notes she’s suddenly confident when she never used to be. She tells him she’s made her family angry, trying to convince him she’s being real.
He has an outrageous and dangerous idea for her to prove to him she’d go to the limit and then some. A goodwill offering. She questions what he wants her to do. “Surprise me,” he tells her.
Sharon and Chance return to Crimson Lights with Ethiopian food. They’re glad to be out of the house and enjoying food with lovely company.
She thanks him for encouraging her to try something new. They dig in.
Diane finds Jack at Crimson Lights and she fills him in on her meeting with Stark.
They need to find a crime for her to commit, she tells a shocked Jackie boy. He doesn’t like it but she says she needs to steal something.
Jack suggests he give her something from his safe but she thinks Stark will see they’re setting him up.
She considers it has to be from someone who would never help her. She grins. “Steal from Phyllis? Don’t tempt me,” she says.
But she can’t do that. Phyllis is a bad idea as is Ashley so she chooses Nikki.
In the other room, Sharon suggests to Chance that they dine on Peruvian together next week.
He’s okay with that.
Nick brings nachos and guacamole to Sally in her room at Grand Phoenix.
She calls him the perfect man, reassuring, thoughtful, and sexy.
They kiss and wind up in bed.
After sex, he asks her to shower with him but she’s starved so she says she’s going to eat while he showers.
She gets a robe on and when she smells the food, she looks ill.
