Chelsea worried that her issues became his burden. Adam doesn’t think it’s that and finds her guilt pointless.
Adam tells Billy that he and Chelsea will figure this out since he’s their son.
Chelsea reminds her ex that Billy’s in their lives, making Adam feel like she’s accusing him of not being around.
She’s not and asks him not to diminish Billy’s role in their lives. Adam apologizes. He thinks their kid needs a therapist. Not them or his buddy.
He glances at Billy when he says that. Billy and Chelsea agree.
She thinks he should spend time with Anita.
They have a good relationship. Adam’s not so sure.
She’s not the most positive or productive person. Adam suggests sending him to a new school and having him spend more time with him.

Billy takes Connor for a walk so his parents can talk turkey. Once they’re gone, Chelsea does an ‘I told ya so’.
They get online and read about the school. He could live in the dorm or with Anita. She’ll work from out of town and hire someone to be her eyes and ears.
At the park, Chance gets a text from Chelsea that Connor’s fine.

But she’s got him under control.

She’s “totally” late for a meeting.
He’s staying for his coffee and will be on time for his meeting.

Heather joins Daniel when Lily leaves. He’s been calling her.
