In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Chelsea’s game isn’t as successful as she’d hoped, Billy is confused about how to be helpful, and Daniel tells Lily his mom is at the club. In the previous episode, Faith’s cat is poisoned, Sharon is sure Cameron was in her house, and Kyle walked out on Summer after confronting her for lying to his face.

In Victoria’s office, she and Nate talk about how hot his true crime podcasts are. He smiles when he gets a text from Victor inviting him to drinks.
Audra wanders in and tells them she just saw Victor at the GCAC and they were talking about him. She says he was quizzing her about their working relationship.
As they were talking, they spotted Nate and Victoria leaving together. She’s sure he wants to give Nate a bonus after all the glowing things she said about him.
Once she leaves, Nate and Victoria wonder what this says about the drink offer. He worries that her father is testing him as the new man in her life.
She thinks that just shows her dad is taking him seriously. He’s not worried about spending one on one time with her dad. That sounds sexy to her.
Nate claims few things intimidate him now and he has her to thank for that. After a kiss, she leaves for a meeting and tells him he can use the office.
He immediately tries sitting in her chair. Audra returns to admire how he operates and how quickly he’s moving.
Nate shuts the door and suggests she stop being so blatant. Audra is sure Victoria appreciates someone who speaks their mind.
They chat about some business plans. Everything seems to be working. She’s sure Victor is onto him.
Nate claims he and Victoria are not concerned. They do think that Nick is an issue.
Nikki joins Victor at Society and tells him she’s beyond upset that Cameron “human garbage” Kirsten is terrorizing their family.
She’s worried Nick will take matters into his own hands again. He says he’s gotta do what he’s gotta do.
She thinks their son will lead with his fists. Victor will be there to back him up if he needs to.
Daniel and Lily sit at a table in the GCAC. He doesn’t know how much longer he can take what’s happening with his mom and sister. He’s worried about the fallout.
He’s afraid to say more because it could implicate her. They’ll have to talk about it later.
She promises to be there for him and leaves for work.
Billy is babbling to Chelsea at Crimson Lights. She’s not listening because she’s distracted thinking about how the numbers show her game is a dud.
He tells her it will just take time to find and audience and asks her out to dinner.
She assures him he’s been as sweet and attentive as always but he doesn’t need to distract her and save her. He promises to leave his cape at home for dinner.
Chelsea has been talking to her shrink about them and how they initially bonded when he saved her life. He’s been helpful but it’s not his job to fix her.
They need to figure out how to handle it if even a small part of him thinks he can help her. He assumes that this is bothering her or her therapist.
It bothers her that he wants to distract her when she’s unhappy. He claims he just wants to see her happy.
He has to go and meet with Victoria and they will have to pick it up later. As he rushes off, Daniel arrives, complaining about how his day has been.
She assumes this is all about her and her game. He’s not and has other stuff in his life.
She remembers his mom just died and apologizes for projecting and then gets back to talking about her game. Daniel says it seems to be getting good feedback online for people looking for unconventional forms of therapy.
He shows her a thread about the game and says it shows they are helping people. That makes her smile.
Daniel hopes she’s proud of what she’s accomplished. She is and tells him he’s a good guy.

Lily meets Billy in the park. They recall their awkward double-date. He admits things are a little wobbly with Chelsea.
They talk about finding balance.
He rushes over to the GCAC to meet with Victoria. They talk about their kids. Johnny wants to go to boarding school and so does Katie.
Billy feels like no one needs him anymore. He hated boarding school. She says this isn’t about him.
He’ll agree to this as long as it’s what the kids want. He’s surprised she’s so enthusiastic about this and wonders if it has something to do with Nate.
She hopes he’s not suggesting she’s shipping the kids off for the sake of her love life. He apologizes and feels like a jerk.
Victoria asks if seeing Nate will be a problem for them and insists she just wants to give the kids what they want. They need to give the kids space, not hold onto them to make them feel better.
Daniel meets Lily in the park, giving her a hug and telling her how much he appreciates her.
After they worry about Chelsea for a minute, he asks what’s going on with Phyllis and Summer.
He admits his mom is hiding out at the Athletic Club.
Billy returns to Crimson Lights and Chelsea tells him that Connor’s teacher thinks he’s shutting down.
He’d like to give her advice and reassurance but holds himself back. She thanks him for helping and offers to help him back.
He tells her about his lunch with Victoria and how he’s realized the kids don’t need him in the same way. She offers him some reassurance and ice cream.
Victoria returns to work at the office. Nate notices she’s on edge. She admits she almost got in an argument with Billy.
He made a jab about them and it made her think people can’t understand their relationship. Nate is sure some people must think they are colleague with benefits and suggests they make things official by having a date.
“You’re on,” she says.
Nick jogs up to Cameron’s room at the GCAC and bangs on the door. Cameron answers, smiling and saying it took him long enough to find him. He’s so predictable.
He confronts him about killing the cat. Cameron says he’s only there for Sharon. He thinks she’s warming up to him already.
Furious Nick shoves him and threatens him. These are all empty threats to Cameron, who claims he’s reformed.
Nick goes on about how Sharon has changed and is fearless now. Kirsten says he won’t stop him from going after her this time and taunts him to hit him.
Nick punches the wall and promises next time it will be for real. That makes Cameron chuckle.
“Get some ice on that, sport,” Kirsten says. Nick orders him to leave town. Cameron tells him he’s got things to do and women to seduce and he’ll have to drag him out in a bag.
Nick keeps ordering and Cameron mocks how sweet he is for trying to protect his ex wife. Nick threatens him again and exits.
Nick goes to Society to see his parents and tells them he confronted Cameron. He punched the wall. His mom worries he’s broken his hand.
Nikki goes off to take a call. Victor tells his son he fired “that loser” security guard who Cameron grabbed.
He gets a text from Nate and Nick complains that he’s meeting with an “opportunist.” Victor thinks that’s rich given that he’s involved with Sally.
Victor thinks he’s wasting his time and energy on Spectra. He needs to forget her and pay attention to Sharon and Faith.
Nick is fed up with his judgement and walks out. Nikki returns and Victor tells her their son is spread too thin. She just hopes his temper doesn’t get him into trouble.
Back in his suite, Cameron calls Jimmy and tells him to bring his right hook.
