We also have Monday’s B&B recap where Deacon let Hope know about the end of the pact, Thomas assured Steffy nothing will happen with Hope, and Brooke demanded Taylor come clean to Ridge, and then revealed she wanted Ridge back.
Ridge talks to Carlos on a call, interrupting his discussion with Brooke.
Once he’s off the call, he apologizes for the intrusion but she likes listening to him speak Italian.
She talks about ending her friendship with Taylor and says that she and Ridge have been apart for too long and it’s time she reunited with the love of her life.
He tilts his head with a small smile. Brooke says they’ve had ups and downs but all that they shared together is forever.
“Our love is eternal,” she tells him while he says they chose their futures without him. They didn’t like the tug of war.
He knows he hurt them. Brooke talks about him ending their marriage and proposing to Taylor.
They agree it didn’t work for any of them. She tells him they got caught up in the emotion of taking back their lives.
She could have done things differently and says though she’d still have chosen herself, she wouldn’t have chosen Taylor as a friend.
“That was miscalculated.” She takes his hands and wants to focus on them. He smiles.
She calls this a clean slate and wants time alone. He says they’re good and he loves the idea of time alone but he doesn’t want to be put in a similar situation and hurt each other the way they have over the years.
He loves her so much and says it’ll never change but they need honesty on their side.
He asks if they can make this work or if what they have is just comfortable.
Brooke has tears in her eyes as he speaks. He remembers her wearing “that little blue number” as she told him they aren’t teenagers anymore. She sent him home. “What was I thinking?” She asks.
He thinks it was a good thing and he doesn’t want to hurt her. He wants to be with her and play with her but he knows their history. It changes things. He insists he’s lost.
Maybe the word destiny was something that a writer came up with because he didn’t know what to do with his characters at the end of the book, Ridge muses. He calls his love for her eternal and she asks about his passion.
She thinks it’ll always be there. She thinks they need each other and hugs him.

Taylor arrives at the cliffhouse and asks Steffy for something with honey.
Her voice is scratchy because she was screaming so loud at Brooke. Steffy asks how she is and Taylor admits she’s hurt.
She assumes Brooke’s still talking with Ridge now. Steffy assumes that bothers her because she wants Dad back.
Taylor tries to explain but Steffy again says she knows she wants her ex back. Taylor confesses that she never stopped loving Ridge.
The pact was not about that but about honesty and transparency. She’s exasperated as she says she thought she was moving on.
She dips into the honey and asks for her daughter’s thoughts. Steffy knows they have a connection.
Taylor tried to push her feelings down for Brooke but after all they’ve been through, she still adores him. Steffy thinks he adores her.
Taylor is concerned about what Brooke’s saying to him. She knows Brooke wants him back, too.
She doesn’t want to feel jealous, instead deciding to focus on Thomas and this trip to Italy. She says she mentioned to Ridge that she’d like to go.
In the design room, Hope asks if Thomas knew about what his mom did to hers. He says his mom filled him in but he doesn’t want to get involved.
Neither does she, she claims but when he says they should let the women work it out, she blames Taylor for everything.
Thomas still doesn’t want to get into it but Hope feels this is her fault because she talked to her dad and he revealed that Taylor pushed him to try to reunite with her mom.
She doesn’t want her mom manipulated by Taylor but her mom doesn’t need defending and she doesn’t want Thomas to defend his mom. She thought their friendship would last.
Thomas did too and isn’t ready to give up on it. They knew it’d get complicated when his dad came back into town.
They agree they don’t want to be in the middle of it. That’s his dad’s place. She laughs and then tells him how nervous she is about their trip to Rome.
He assures she’ll be fine and whips out a new design he wants sent to get a pattern for.
She loves it. They get excited about the trip and Thomas asks how Liam is feeling about the trip. Hope says not to worry about him.
If she has issues at home, that’s where she’ll handle them.
He goes back to his sketch and thinks they should take out some of the detail so they can make it fast.
Hope puts her hand on the design and he places his hand on her as her heart beats out of her chest at his touch.
