General Hospital recap for Monday, August 15, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Liz catches Finn and Terry worrying about her, Cam wonders what Dex wants with Joss, and Spencer asks Victor to find Esme.
We also have Friday’s GH recap where Jordan helped Portia sneak into Oz’s room and Scott dropped the charges against Cody.
At General Hospital, the cops rush to the elevator after Jordan stops it and yells that she’s stuck.
Liz says the elevator has been on the fritz all week. She flashes back to her hallucination. Finn asks if she’s alright. She assures him she is and walks off.
Trina starts to worry about where her mom has disappeared to.
As the cops are distracted, flustered Portia sneaks into Oz’s room and injects him. She watches his vitals. As they start to spike, she gasps and slips out.
Liz rushes into Oz’s room and Portia follows. The nurse notices he seems to be waking up. Coughing, Oz opens his eyes.
Before Liz can get his doctor, Portia stops her and asks to talk to him for a few minutes. After the nurse leaves them alone, Portia introduces herself to Oz and starts questioning him about the phone.
When she starts recording their conversation, she tells him she suspects Esme drugged him. “I was drugged?” he asks.
She tells him he was rushed to the hospital and put in a coma. She prods him to remember what happened.
Jordan is freed from the elevator. The technician couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Diane calls Trina and announces the jury is back.
Trina tries calling her mom without luck. Rory offers to look for her but Curtis insists on doing it.
Jordan tells Rory to drive Trina home to change and then drop her at the court house. Curtis promises he will get her mom and they will head over. “Do not worry,” he encourages.
When Jordan and Curtis get to Oz’s room, Portia is yelling at him to tell her who drugged him. Jordan asks her to step away and Curtis informs her the jury is in.
He walks out to call Diane to request a continuance. Jordan starts questioning Oz and Portia tells him he can save her little girl.
“I want a lawyer,” he tells them.
Finn stops by Terry’s office. They discuss Liz. Finn thinks she’s incredible and they all want her to be better but she’s acting like her panic attack never happened.
Terry worries she could be having another fugue state. Finn thinks there could be more at issue than sleeping pills.
Whenever anyone mentions Liz’s parents, she shuts down. Terry can’t understand why. She never got along with them but that’s not strange.
Liz interrupts, surprised to see them together and assumes they are discussing her.
Finn tells her he was sharing his concerns about her with his friend. She accuses him of second guessing her. Terry and Finn just want to understand what’s happening.
Liz insists that nothing is happening and she just wants to move on. “The way you moved on from your parents?” he asks.
“Bring this up again and we’re done,” she says before walking out. Terry doubts her friend will ever open up about this. Finn thinks they need to talk to someone else.

All the latest GH comings and goings
Cam finds Joss by the pool and she informs him that the jury may be close to a verdict. She doesn’t know if the rush is good or bad.
They talk about Spencer and Trina’s futures being up in the air. Joss admits she didn’t tell her friend about that Spencer was plotting against Esme all along.
He feels bad for his friend and wishes Trina knew they were on her side. Cam is sure Joss is still upset with him for keeping this from her. She gets that he was helping Spencer but tell him not to do anything like this again.
They chat about Rory and how good he has been for Trina. He seems like a good guy. Cam says Spencer is a good guy too. His girlfriend thinks he did everything backwards.
Dex stops by to ask if Trina is alright. They haven’t heard anything.
After Dex steps away, Cam assumes that he’s interested in Joss. She flashes back to confronting him about jury tampering and then claims that Dex’s interest in Trina’s trial that have nothing to do with her.
They know jury tampering is illegal, but… She gets a text from Trina saying the jury is back so they rush off.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas is irate when his son announces that he has signed in the deal and is going to Pentonville because he refused to give up Victor.
Sonny has assured him that his men will protect him inside. The prince is outraged by all this.
Victor is proud of Spencer facing consequences for his actions and is sure this will make him stronger. As a favor, Spencer asks him to find Esme.
After Spencer takes off, Nikolas drinks. Victor tells the prince his son is being more mature about this than he is.
He wonders why he looked so panicked when Spencer asked him to find Esme. “Where is the charming Esme?” he asks.
Nikolas tries to cover. When Victor announcing he’s going to find Esme, Nikolas points out he can’t and he knows why. “She’s gone…let her go,” Nikolas begs.
With a little prodding, Nikolas tells his uncle that she’s dead.
Trina arrives at the court house. Diane tells her that even if she is found guilty, they will appeal.
Spencer pops up and tells her she’s not going to prison. She asks why he took such a risk for her.
Taggert bursts in and orders the Cassadine to step away. Joss arrives and informs her friend that Cam couldn’t come because something came up with his brother.
The court is called back to order as Diane gets a call from Curtis. She informs the judge that new evidence has been found that will clear her client.
The ADA objects that the time for presenting new evidence has passed. Diane explains one of her witnesses has regained consciousness.
The judge agrees that the jury could hear new evidence if he deems it pertinent. The lawyers debate. Diane admits she’s never questioned Oz and asks for an adjournment to do so.
The ADA says she’s wasting time. The judge refuses to delay since Diane has no idea what Oz has to say or even if he will co-operate and calls the jury in.
As the jury files in, Dex locks eyes on the foreman he threatened.
Back at General Hospital, Portia asks Rory how her daughter is doing. They tell him Jordan is questing Oz right now.
After the cop takes off, Portia worries she pushed Oz too hard. She needs to go to the court house. What if the verdict comes back and she’s not there?
Before they leave, Jordan pops up. They ask if Oz is willing to talk.
