Mon Jan 29, 2024: Today on General Hospital, Spencer and Trina enjoy a romantic dinner in Paris, Dante and Chase look for Esme, Alexis has news for Laura and Curtis has his first PT session.
Frriday’s GH recap: Valentin Offers to Go Into Business with Nina, Trina and Spencer Settle Into Paris and Sam Learns Finn Was Set-up
In Paris, Spencer and Trina arrive at a little bistro and Trina marvels at the French.
Spencer gushes at how she’s picking up what’s being said.
He admits he’s never tried this place out.
He wants everything to be new for them.
She wants to know what else they’ll do but he won’t spoil the surprise.
She wants Coq au Vin and he remembers wanting caviar for the first time and how he liked it.
She’s in awe of his every word but he doesn’t feel comfortable sharing.
She likes hearing his stories, which makes him happy but he asks for time to get used to it since he’s not used to being in a healthy relationship.
She tastes her food and wants to try Coq au Vin in every restaurant now.
She talks about trying to prioritize her classes to be with him but he tells her not to. They talk about him being there with Esme and Uncle Victor and how they tried to ruin him. He wants to put it behind them.
He’ll be busy figuring out his passion on his own.
They joke about Le Cordon Bleu not being enough to help with his cooking skills. He’s sorry that she got involved in his Esme mess. She’s sorry he had to at all.
He calls her supportive, sweet and hot. She thinks he’s amazing.
Later, they exit the restaurant and snuggle outside.
They take off for her next surprise.
When they leave, Esme comes out of hiding and follows them.
Laura visits Kevin at General Hospital with Portia.
Laura’s upset that she wasn’t there when he woke up.
The nurse says he’s been in and out and Portia encourages her to speak to him.
Laura tells him she’s there and needs him to wake up.
He opens his eyes and tells them that Esme did this to him.
He explains what happened and Laura worries and tells him PCPD are looking for Esme in Toronto.
Since Kevin’s hungry, Portia goes off to get someone to get food for him.
Laura says Ace is a grounding force for Esme, and losing him pushed her over the edge. Kevin agrees love is a powerful motivator.
But he would have thought that Esme would go to Paris. He tells them she had Alexis’ credit card.
In Toronto, Dante and the Toronto officer knock on Esme’s nanny’s door.
Maggie opens the door and the cops ask her to cooperate.
She lets them in reluctantly and tells them she’s started a new position in Toronto with a new family.
Things have been quiet and she likes it that way.
Dante will make it fast and asks if she’s seen Esme Prince.
Chase and the Toronto cop search the place and Maggie becomes angry. She hasn’t seen Esme in years. Chase returns and says there’s no sign of Esme.
Dante says they have a letter from her extending an invitation there but she says it wasn’t from her. Dante and Chase leave and he calls Laura.

In the PT room at GH, Curtis’ physiotherapist Ben is with him.
Curtis wants to attempt to stand but Stella wanders in and says not to do that.
Curtis tells her she doesn’t need to check on him.
Ben goes to get some towels and Stella says she’s been worrying about him his whole life.
She recalls how many times he limped home with a skinned knee and that she patched him up.
Curtis says he never gave up then and won’t now.
Ben reappears and they get him up and attempt to walk. He stands but it’s too much and he sits back down, seeming discouraged.
He doesn’t want to do anything now.
Ben gives them the room and Curtis calls this a mistake.
Stella encourages him that these things take time.
He feels sorry for himself so she gives him a pep talk. Portia appears and tells them Kevin’s awake and doing well.
They’re thrilled. She asks where Ben is and if his therapy is over. Stella goes and Curtis admits what happened. Portia hopes they find Esme.
She’s done with the girl and never wants to worry about her again. Ben and Stella return and after a session, tells Curtis how well he’s doing.
He goes and the women fuss over him. He vows to walk before Trina gets home.
In court, Alexis apologizes for being late.
Finn and Liz tell her that things didn’t go well.
They fill her in on Sam’s findings, that Muldoon saw an oncologist weeks before he came to see him.
He knew about the cancer and their theory is that he wanted to cash in on a life insurance for his family and went after Finn for malpractice.
“Total con job,” Alexis says.
They fill her in on the rest. Tracy knows there’s no hard evidence and asks them to force her back on the stand and make her crack.
They may be able to charge her with fraud if she knew her husband was being fraudulent.
Martin sees Muldoon’s wife with Diane and gets an idea. Nearby, Tracy gets water for Gregory and they chat while Diane talks to the wife about trying to get a settlement.
Before Martin takes Diane aside, she tells Mrs. Muldoon not to engage with the other side.
Immediately, Mrs. Muldoon goes to Finn to ask him to plead guilty. Alexis tells her she shouldn’t be engaging but Finn wants to hear.
She bitches about his patients being faceless but he denies that.
He defends himself and she cries that he’d never risk leaving her and the kids.
Finn learns that the malpractice suit was his idea. It’s how much he loved them, she says.
Diane is told that Dr. Powell is going to take the stand. She’s surprised but has never heard of him.
She finds her client and drags her off while Martin returns and tells the group Diane didn’t know about the doctor. Finn says Mrs. Muldoon didn’t, either.
He worries about her kids if she goes to prison. Tracy thinks he should worry more about his own kid.
Liz tells him to pursue this still. He doesn’t want her to go to prison and gets Muldoon’s desperation.
Back at GH, Laura’s on a call with Dante. He asks after Kevin and he tells them his head hurts.
Dante asks if she’s heard from Nikolas but she hasn’t. They think she’s trying to track Nikolas before she goes into hiding.
Alexis appears and looks at the last things bought on her credit card. She’s shocked to find a ticket to Paris on her corporate card.
