Thursday, Dec 14: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Thorne and his brother argue, RJ and Luna tell Poppy how great Eric is, and Bridget thanks Finn for trying.
Wednesday’s Early B&B recap:
Ridge let everyone say goodbye and Finn was about to pull the plug when Eric opened his eyes.
At the hospital, Finn is about to shut off Eric’s support when Donna and Steffy sees that Eric’s eyes have moved. They join Brooke to beg Ridge to give his father another chance.
Finn asks what he wants to do. Donna begs and Brooke backs her up.
Ridge keeps staring at his father and finally orders Finn to do teh procedure.
Finn runs off to order the OR prepped. Ridge asks his dad to forgive him.
At Forrester Creations, RJ tells Luna and her mom how great it was to work with his grandfather.
He tears up saying not a lot people get to see what a funny guy he is. He wishes he knew what was happening at the hospital.
The ladies assure him that he’s done Eric proud. He thanks Luna for being there for him.
Poppy watches them holding hands.
Thorne sends him a text to say that he and Bridget are heading to the hospital. Poppy offers to drive him over.
He wants to be there but he doesn’t want to be in the way. He just wishes there was something someone could do.
RJ says his granddad is the foundation of the whole company and makes everyone feel seen and heard. Luna backs this up.
Eric is one of the biggest reasons she feels so comfortable there. Poppy thinks he sounds wonderful.
They hope she can meet him some day.
RJ says he’s been an incredible role model. He smiles when Luna tells him he reminds her of his grandfather.
He asks Poppy how she likes LA. She’s been enjoying the weather and being around her daughter.
RJ goes on about how much he enjoys the city.
Poppy has to go and will light a candle for Eric. Luna walks her out.
He flashes back to time with Eric until Luna returns. They talk about her mom and she jokes about her stealing her clothes.
She’s happy to see his smile for a second but he returns to worrying about Eric.
RJ thanks her for being there. She promises to be by his side and they kiss.

B&B December comings and goings
Back at the hospital, Bridget and Thorne arrive in the corridor and are informed that Eric is being taken off life support.
“Are they just going to let him die?” asks Thorne.
Ridge and the others join them and he fills them in on what’s been happening. Donna tells Thorne that his brother instructed Finn to take Eric off life support.
Thorne is furious and they argue. This is all Eric’s worst nightmare.
Brooke says there are serious risks involved in the treatment and Ridge says that if Eric comes out of this with tubes and monitors, he’ll have to live with that.
They tell Thorne how they have had to deal with this. He understands but their siblings haven’t even been able to say goodbye.
His brother reminds him of what quality of life means to Eric.
They need to hope the man who walks out of that operating theater is someone they recognize, or God help them.
Some of them sit and some of them pace. Donna just wants more time with Eric and Ridge repeats it’s all a gamble.
Thorne asks about how experimental this procedure is. None of them really understand it but Steffy says her husband is an incredible doctor.
Donna insists Eric will pull through.
Thorne worries.
In the operating theater, Finn and Bridget scrub up. She thanks him for letting her take part.
“Lets see if we can create a miracle,” he says.
As they operate, he explains it to Bridget. She’s never heard of this being done.
He explains the treatment options he’s been researching and here they are, on a wing and a prayer.
She thanks him but he tells her not to do that yet. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do with Steffy.
As they prepare to close him up, he starts hemorrhaging. Finn tries to stop it but his vitals are dropping.
Bridget begs her dad to keep fighting. “I can’t lose my father,” she says as he gets paler.
