Thursday, Jan 25, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Liam teases his dad about Poppy, Li forbids Poppy sleeping her way into Bill’s life, and RJ asks Luna about how well her mom and Bill really know each other.
Wednesday’s Early B&B recap: As Li tore into Poppy for sleeping with Bill, Bill told Liam nothing could change how he feels for Poppy.
At the beach house, Liam asks his dad when he gets to meet Poppy. He’s starting to feel like they are entering step-mom territory.
“Woah woah!” Bill says, stopping him. They haven’t gone that far yet. They’ve only had a few dates. He does want to get closer to her.
“I want to learn everything there is to learn about each other’s families,” he says.
As Bill eats an apple, he tells his son how impressive Luna is.
Liam thinks this is all cool and a total fluke. It’s amazing and he’s happy for him.
Bill marvels about how a woman from his past can just come back into his life like this. His son jokes her deserves his own rom-com.
He’s sure this is not just an accident. Bill says something life just happens.
They talk about how happy and relaxed Poppy seems to be. He gets the impression they didn’t always have it easy.
That may be why Luna seems so tenacious. She doesn’t even know who her father is.
In the Forested Creations office, Luna wonders if it was wise to leave her mom and aunt alone. Li bullies herself into people’s lives and has no right to be telling poppy who she can date.
They think it’s wild her mom has a past with Bill. “It goes way back. Before I was even born,” she says.
Something is clicking for RJ and he asks about what happened when her mom and Bill first ran into each other.
It’s vague but he finds it interesting that two people could recognize each other so easily after twenty years.
He suggests something might have happened between the two of them. This confuses her so she needs an explanation.
He sheepishly explains they might have done more than dance. She starts fidgeting.
This is freaking her out and now she can’t get the image out of her head. He points out she’s never said who her father is.
She never felt like she was missing out by not having a dad. Her mom never told him anything about him, only that she was made from love.
RJ urges her to use some math and put together when her mom and Bill likely slept together and how old she is.
“Oh my God! Are you saying what I think you’re saying?” she asks.
RJ points out Bill could be her father.

In the design office, Li tells her sister she should be ashamed for duping countless men into her bed. Poppy isn’t ashamed of wanting to feel a human connection and blood pulsing through her veins.
Her sister says she can use all the pretty words she wants for her immoral activities but that doesn’t change them. This is not how they were raised.
Poppy says she doesn’t have a different man in her bed every night and she does see some of them more than once.
Her sister is sure she’s after Bill for his money and tells her nothing will come out of this.
Poppy says he’s into her. LI says he’s out of her league and a grandfather. Nothing good could come out of this.
Poppy arches an eyebrow.
Her sister crosses her arms and Poppy tells her she wishes she’d be less judgmental.
Li complains that being her sister is exhausting. Poppy points out that being her sister is no thrill either and she’s been critical since they were little.
Her sister has always wanted what’s best for her but all she wants is partying and boys.
She declares she will not allow her to sleep her way into Kelly’s grandfather’s life.
Poppy tells her to butt out of this but her sister won’t let her mess with her family. It’s bad enough Luna is dating RJ.
She accuses her of being jealous of her daughter and finding an even richer man for herself.
Poppy thinks that’s a horrible thing to say. “Horribly true,” Li insists.
She’s sure that mother and daughter are alike and she won’t allow her to worm her way into the family and cause damage.
Her sister jokes they can be step-grandmothers together although she’s rather be called Lola.
Li says she may have a past with Bill but it’s over and there’s no reasons she should speak to him again.
Back at the beach house, Bill looks at Poppy’s social media and then calls her.
She answers in a coffee shop and they laugh about RJ and Luna nearly walking in on them.
He hopes they can spend another evening together. She tells him her sister is making trouble.
He laughs when she says her sister accused her of being a gold-digger. Bill points out he’s the one pursuing her.
He feels like there are forces at work bringing them back together. She says thinks definitely happen for a reason.
Bill wants them to get closer, he wants their families to get closer.
His son suggested that they may have been brought back together for a reason. Poppy agrees that might be right.
