Wednesday, Jan 24, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Eric thanks Donna for all her support, Liam thinks that kismet has brought Bill and Poppy together, and Luna and RJ are interrupted again.
Tuesday’s Early B&B recap: RJ thought he and Luna were cursed and Hope couldn’t be ruled by painful memories of her past.
Katie and Donna fuss over Eric at his place.
He wants a martini but he’s only getting pineapple juice and the funny pages.
He can’t wait for happy hour.
They say he never stops fighting and that’s why he’s there today.
Taking their hands, Eric thanks them for never giving up on him.
Ridge and Brooke stroll in and he declares his dad is back and better than ever.
Katie jokes he’s being a bit of a pill. Eric is happy to be home in spite of the restrictions and tells Donna how beautiful she is.
He says he doesn’t deserve her.
Ridge, Katie, and Brooke all tell Donna how strong she has been. Eric says her love got him through this.
“I would never give up on you Eric,” she says.
He feels like the luckiest man alive. They snuggle.
When she thought she was going to lose him, all she could ask for was time.
Now they have the gift of time and she won’t take it for granted.
They kiss. This makes Katie and Donna tear up.
“If you keep this up, we will all be basket cases,” jokes Katie.
Brooke thinks this is all crazy and beautiful.
“Love conquers all,” she declares.
It’s what brought Eric home to her sister.
They are all enjoying this love fest. Nothing was the same without him in the house.
Ridge tells his father how amazing it is to have him back.
He’s so much more to him than a dad. He’s his best friend and he loves him.
Eric promises he won’t lose him for a long time. “I love you son,” he says.
They hold hands.
“Fix me a martini, will you??” Eric adds. They laugh.

B&B January comings and goings
At the beach house, Liam tells his father how surprised he is that Wyatt actually decided to move out.
He wonders what he will do.
Bill doesn’t know. Liam will miss his brother but guesses you need a new adventure sometimes.
He assumes that’s what the woman in Bill’s life is.
“Butting into my love life?” Bill asks.
His son needs more information and asks how the date with Poppy went.
Bill says it was cut short but won’t explain.
Liam thinks he seems fascinated with the lady.
Bill is sure he will understand when he meets her.
They talk about the amazing timing of Poppy coming back into his life after 20 years.
Liam assumes it is kismet or fate.
Bill shivers about that but he admits it does seem like some force has brought them back together.
His son knows things can’t be easy for him after Katie rejected him.
Bill can’t blame her for that.
He admits that things aren’t like that at all with Poppy.
He chuckles when his son tells him this is totally fate.
Bill assures him they aren’t headed for the Elvis Chapel in Vegas.
He feels like he knows all he needs to know about her and can’t imagine there’s anything she could tell him that would change things between them.
In the design office, RJ and Luna recall her mom catching them making out last night.
They wonder about the timing.
After she assures him that her mom won’t walk in on them again, they start kissing. Her mom walks in.
Apologetic Poppy tries to run but her daughter chases her down and asks what she was doing at the beach house.
Poppy says Bill was just showing it to her.
Her daughter is still amazed she’s dating Bill.
“What?! You and Bill Spencer!”
Li bellows as she walks in, shaking her head.
Luna defends her mom but Poppy asks her daughter to leave them alone.
Once they are, Li tears into her for setting her sights on Bill as he next sugar daddy.
Poppy rolls her eyes.
She tells her sister this isn’t what she thinks but Li says this is “classic” behavior for her.
Poppy explains she and Bill have a history and spent a night together years ago that neither has forgotten.
“You slept with the man!” complains Li.
Her sister says that was years ago and it was beautiful and special.
Li thinks she will stoop to anything when a rich man is involved.
She puts her on notice, declaring she won’t let her sleep her way into Bill’s life.
“One sordid debaucherous night! No wonder Luna doesn’t know who her father is!” Li complains.
Down the hall, Luna vents to RJ about her aunt and he wonders if they should have left them alone.
He’s sorry she has to go through all this.
She’s sorry her aunt keeps lashing out and embarrassing the family.
He says it’s okay. His family has had a billion arguments there.
She tells him that Li has always been judgmental and doesn’t love her mom for the way she is.
She keeps accusing her of being a gold-digger, which couldn’t be further from the truth.
It makes her smile to know how crazy this thing with Bill will make Li.
