Friday, Jan 12, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas has a heart-to-heart with Steffy about what happened the night Emma died.
Thursday’s Early B&B recap: Thomas tells Steffy that Xander was right about one thing as Liam’s smug hearing that Xander’s accusing Thomas of murder.
At the cabin, Liam tells Hope she’s not safe with Thomas. What if she says something and it triggers his dark side.
She should give that ring back.
“What are you gonna marry him?” He asks.
She tells him it’s not up to him. Liam’s just looking out for her.
Xander’s back and the Emma thing being dredged up is worrying him more.
She says Thomas isn’t a murderer and Xander shouldn’t be running around town saying so.
“Mm, he should if it’s true,” Liam says. “It isn’t,” Hope argues.
It’s not necessary for Liam to look out for her.
Liam asks her if she loves Thomas and Hope refuses to tell him since he’s not cheering them on.
Liam just asks her to not be blindsided “by the next round of Thomas’s dark secrets because I’m telling you they’re out there and a-comin’.”
Liam leaves and Hope makes up a romantic dinner scene.

In the CEO office at Forrester, Thomas tells Steffy he didn’t kill Emma.
It was no secret that he wasn’t a saint then but he didn’t kill her.
She knows. He’s thankful for her faith and the sibling’s embrace.
In the hospital, Eric asks for the verdict after he listens to his heart. Finn tells him he’s making excellent progress.
They talk about how much his family loves him just as RJ and Luna stroll in.
Eric calls it a treat but RJ says Grandad being awake is the treat.
They all smile at one another. Eric’s grateful to Finn as are the others.
RJ hauls out that old stappler and they go wild about it with Eric saying he’s glad it wasn’t tossed out and that he wasn’t, either.
Later, Eric sends everyone away and keeps Luna there to tell her he’s happy she’s with his grandson.
She’s grateful for her work at Forrester, calling it a dream but adding RJ to the mix has been lucky.
RJ walks in and eavesdrops as she lists fun, friendship, laughter, creativity, the chance to work with Eric and love.
Eric looks over at RJ. “Perfect timing.” Luna is glad he heard al that cause she meant it. They smile.
They ask what his secret is to a good life and he calls it love. The couple kisses.
In Finn’s office, Steffy makes out with Finn and says she spoke with Thomas.
Her husband assumes Thomas denied the accusations.
Finn’s still got it in for Thomas and Steffy tells him he didn’t kill the girl and Finn needs to let it go.
She goes over the same points she’s made a few times about how Thomas is good now.
She’s stressed out about her grandfather and can’t do this.
He doesn’t want to make it worse for her so she says to drop it.
Thomas arrives, thrilled to see it.
They make out and he likes that more.
She says they can order in.
He brings up Xander’s accusation but she doesn’t want to discuss it.
Thomas worries it’s caused a barrier between them.
She asks what he’s trying to tell her.
He’d like to recount that night to her.
She fingers her engagement ring as he says it was the darkest time in his life and he’ll never be that person again.
Hope’s voice wavers.
She’s feeling nervous and needs him to tell her everything.
The whole truth. “Be completely honest with me,” she says, worriedly. He tells her it’s what he wants to do. Tell her it all.
He and Emma had a confrontation. She wanted to tell Hope about the baby and he didn’t want her to. They argued, and he left Forrester.
Xander got the GPS information from his car and Thomas admits he erased it all.
He knew what they’d think if they learned he was there that night Emma went over the cliff.
Hope says, “So you were there. Liam and Xander’s assumptions about you being somehow involved are…” Yes, Thomas says.
He chased Emma and they were driving fast on Mulholland.
It’s dangerous at night and she went off the road. “I saw it but I didn’t cause it.”
Hope is almost in tears. “Did you try to help?”
He says nobody could have survived the crash but he should have told her about Beth.
He never meant to hurt anyone.
He asks for her forgiveness as she cries.
