Thursday, July 20, recap of B&B: Steffy and Wyatt are shocked Liam and Hope are divorcing and Sheila manages to pull Finn in close.
Friday’s B&B recap: Sheila calls Finn for a visit, as Hope and Liam call it quits
At the Los Angeles County Jail, Sheila is happy to see Finn. She thanks him for coming.
He is not happy about being summoned there to conduct her pre-trial examination.
Finn says he should not be there, but she called requesting his services.
Finn gets to work as Sheila reminds him he could have let her die, instead, he saved his mother’s life.
She insists that is what helps her sleep at night and she will never forget what he did for her.
Finn identifies Sheila’s heartbeat as racing. She claims the nervousness about her trial and the worrying about losing her family as the reason.
She demands he must know she loves him more than she does her own life.
Although her life is filled with many disappointments, she claims he is nothing but a source of light and goodness.
He wishes her well, then informs her she is healthy enough to stand trial.
Finn packs his things and goes to leave. He says he and Steffy will attend the hearing.
Sheila claims it does not matter how long they’ve been apart, the love is still there.
Giving birth to him was and still is the proudest moment of her life.
Sheila pulls him in for a hug and he drops his doctor bag.
Finn slowly wraps both arms tightly around his mother, hugging her back.
Finn says when she holds him like that it feels like something he has been missing his whole life.

At A Giardino, Liam sits alone at the table and notices all the happy couples around him.
He can’t help but think of the happy times he shared with Hope.
He then starts remembering the signing of the divorce papers and him taking off his ring.
Steffy enters and takes a seat, asking him for an update on him and Hope.
She can tell by his mood that they must not have resolved much.
Liam informs Steffy that Hope had divorce papers drawn up before they could work to resolve anything.
She can’t believe what she is hearing. Steffy is really taken aback when Liam informs her of Hope’s concerns regarding the two of them.
He repeats that he will not disrespect her marriage like he did in Rome and the other day at her home when he came in and kissed her, ever again.
He continues apologizing, but Steffy insists he calm down and forget all about it. She knows he was in a bad way at the time.
Liam claims nothing but respect for Finn, especially after the dark chapter they went through with his mother.
Steffy declares Sheila is about to be locked up for the rest of her life and will no longer be a worry for any of them.
She says Finn knows to keep his distance from Sheila. Even though she is his mom, he will never set eyes on her again.

In her office at Forrester Creations, Hope sits alone and finds herself in a similar mental state as Liam.
She remembers happy times, but also the unhappy ending.
Wyatt knocks on the door and snaps her back to reality.
He says he is not there on business.
Wyatt claims he is a concerned brother and brother-in-law, and he’s not leaving without some answers.
She’s in no mood to be read the riot act and quickly figures he hasn’t talked to Liam in the recent past.
She recaps the incident in Rome with Wyatt and says she now concludes that maybe this was supposed to happen.
He is baffled when she claims Steffy as being a big part of the reason for her conclusion.
She says feelings don’t always go away just because people are over. Hope says Liam and Steffy are similar to her mother, his mother, and Ridge.
She declares again that she will not live that life.
Wyatt understands her not wanting to go on the same roller coaster ride as Brooke and Ridge.
He tries to remind her that she and Liam are different and she needs to fight.
Hope quickly corrects Wyatt, insisting she wasn’t the one who stopped fighting.
It was Liam who gave up so easily and who refused to consider forgiving her.
She then informs him the divorce papers have already been signed by them both.
Wyatt is in total disbelief about this turn of events.
She reminds him this is about a lot more than Rome.
This is about years of betrayal, Liam’s unwillingness to forgive, and Steffy’s permanent place in his heart.
