Wednesday, July 19 recap of B&B: Sheila gets Finn to visit her in jail, Steffy wants her locked away forever, and Hope and Liam sign divorce papers
Tuesday’s B&B recap: Brooke’s silent about catching Hope and Thomas in Bed-& Liam refuses to take blame as Hope tells him they’re divorcing
At Forrester Creations, RJ tries on items from the new collection in Ridge’s office.
Ridge wonders if he is okay, and he admits that he is worried about Hope and her marriage with Liam.
Ridge admires how much he cares about his sister and insists the two of them are going to be just fine.
RJ tells Ridge about how he went to see Liam and tried to make him see reason. He only wishes he could be as optimistic as Ridge is about all this. RJ has never seen Liam like this before and thinks it is going to take a miracle to fix this.
He agrees he needs to take a page out of Ridge’s book and step back a little and hope for the best.
At the cabin, Liam listens as Hope unapologetically accepts full responsibility for what she’s done.
She reminds Liam that Thomas is not the only one who has interfered in their marriage, claiming Steffy has been there all along.
Liam sighs as she insists she refuses to put up with it any longer.
He wonders how they made the leap from Hope kissing Thomas to the topic of Steffy. Hope claims it not to be a big leap and spells it out for him.
She also informs him how she is not going to live the life her mother lived, battling with Taylor all those years as Ridge went back and forth between the two.
Liam doesn’t understand how running off with the ba boy is the answer. Hope wants to know what makes Thomas the bad guy here.
She can say lots of things for him that she can’t say for Liam, her own husband.
Hope wants to know if Steffy is the reason it was so easy for him to ask for a divorce from his wife. She says he doesn’t even need to answer because she knows it’s a huge part of it.
He claims he does have a history with Steffy and he gave it all up for Hope. He wonders if she feels he forced her to give up something with Thomas.
She says she is sorry that he was ever put in that position by her and believes it was probably all just to much to ever overcome.
She loves him and always will, and believes they are both good people who are caught in this terrible position.
She reaches into her bag and gets the divorce papers she had her attorney draw up. Liam is more than surprised it has come to this.
She reminds him that he’s the one who asked for a divorce.
She knows he will continue to be an amazing father, but she took him at his word about wanting a divorce.
Now he will be free to live his life and she will be free to live hers, she insists, as they both sign the papers.
He wonders if she really wants this.
Hope says she never wanted this, but this is where they are now.
Liam takes off his ring and places it on the papers before standing up.
He stops at the door, crying, and takes one last look back at Hope.
All alone, Hope cries as she holds their set of wedding rings.

At Cliff Side House, Steffy and Finn are finishing breakfast when Finn receives a call concerning a patient.
He says he will be in as soon as he can.
Steffy kisses him and declares him to be a very compassionate doctor.
Before Steffy leaves, Finn reminds her that he will always take care of her, their home, and the kids.
Steffy leaves and Finn gets back on the phone.
He’s agitated about having to do this job.
Finn insists there must be somebody else who can do it.
When he is told he must do it, he demands this will be his last time, hangs up the phone, and leaves.
Over at the Los Angeles County Jail, Sheila has a meeting in the metal caged room with Mike.
He’s pulled some strings to make this meeting with his favorite inmate happen.
He says he just wants to make sure she’s adjusting well to life behind bars because her trial date is coming up and he thinks she is going to be in there for a long, long time to come.
Sheila comments on his positivity, but he claims he is simply a realist.
He encourages her to look on the bright side of things, claiming he’s in there with her at least.
Sheila admits the trial date is coming up and yes, things are looking dim.
What really makes her crazy about the possibility of being in prison for the rest of her life, is not being able to be close to her family.
The guard comes to take Mike away and he says his goodbyes to Sheila, for now.
Sheilas remains in the tiny meeting room for another visitor to arrive.
Finn comes around the corner and a smile quickly comes across her face.
She is so happy to see him and says that nothing will ever change the fact that she is his mother and will never stop loving him.
Steffy arrives at FC and joins Ridge and RJ in the office.
Ridge informs her that Sheila’s trial date is fast approaching and Steffy claims it’s finally time to put her away forever.
