Wednesday, August 30 recap of B&B: Ridge asks Deacon for help finding Sheila, Eric tells RJ about his arthritis, and Finn brings Steffy lunch.
Tuesday’s B&B recap: Hope told Thomas she doesn’t love him but wants him, RJ taught Ridge a lesson, and Deacon was caught.
Ridge and Carter are banging on Deacon’s door, demanding to know where Sheila is. Deacon calls out that he’s getting dressed and Sheila hides.
He lets them in and they repeat the demand to know where Sheila is. Ridge reminds him he helped before and can do it again.
They rehash what happened and Deacon points out that Bill isn’t as powerful as he thought. Ridge doesn’t trust Sharpe and asks him again if he knows where Sheila is.
Sheila listens in the bathroom and gulps. Ridge and Carter want to get a court order to look at surveillance footage. Deacon doubts a judge would give them one given she’s a free woman.
Deacon insists that he doesn’t want to see Sheila again and wants to keep her in the past. If he does see her, he will tell them.
Ridge would like to believe him but the past tells him otherwise. Anyone who helps Sheila is a threat to his family and that includes Brooke and Hope. Ridge and Carter exit.
Sheila comes out and thanks him for covering. But it feels like some of the things he said are true and she’s made his life difficult.
There’s no one else who cares if she lives or dies… except Finn.
Sheila promises not to upend his life. She’s confident her son will embrace her and she will be in his life forever.
Finn surprises Steffy with food at Forrester Creations. He makes her guess what’s in the bag. It’s not a pizza or coffee or tacos. The doctor hints it comes once a month and you have to wait at 6AM for it. It’s ramen.
She wants it. He wants to spend time with her. They eat and she says this was a nice surprise.
Finn knows why she felt she had to take the kids and he respects her concerns. He knows he’s been putting a lot of blame on Liam but recognizes that he’s also responsible.
She’s still having nightmares about Sheila and worrying about the kids. So is he. Steffy thanks him for checking on her and pouring his heart out. She can tell how much he loves her and the kids. But this whole situation has been really hard.
He knows and that’s why he will have nothing to do with Sheila. Being away from his wife is killing him. It’s killing her too. They kiss.
Finn tells her no one will keep them apart.

Daily B&B spoilers into August
At Eric’s, he and RJ work on a sketch of a dress. Eric tries using a pencil but his hand can’t grip. It will be game over for his career unless RJ can help him.
He’s told Donna about his arthritis and that helps. She tries to give him some perspective but he feels his life’s work slipping through his fingers. He’s been struggling a little at a time and then it would go away.
The pain has been getting worse and fogging his mind. This is part of why things didn’t go in well with Hope for the Future and was relieved when Hope brought Thomas back. He took a hiatus from drawing but the pain got worse than ever.
He’s seen a doctor but there’s not much that can be done. That’s when he turned to Ridge and asked him to collaborate the way they used to. Ridge said he was too busy.
Eric has been designing his whole life. It has given him more joy than anything else. Now that that gift has been taken away, he can’t express himself. He has ideas but can’t put them on paper without his help.
RJ is willing to help but points out that he can design with a computer. He can teach him how.
