In the Friday, June 16, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy and Brooke keep their eyes on Hope, RJ and Finn try to reassure Liam, and the Forrester Creations team lands in Rome.
We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Steffy got passive-aggressive with Hope, Brooke urged Hope to call Liam, and Liam drowned his sorrows in pasta and bourbon.
On the jet, Brooke and Ridge talk about gelato. Hope is eager for some pasta.
Steffy reminds her to use napkins because she doesn’t want marinara on the gowns.
Thomas tells Curtis he’s amazed by the permits he got for such iconic locations. Hope is having butterflies and thinks it will be wild.
She thanks Carter for all his hard work and then tells Thomas she’s in awe of his artistry.
As she goes on about how thankful she is for him, Brooke and Steffy look worried.
Carter sits with Steffy and marvels about how well Hope and Thomas are connecting.
It’s like they totally get each other. “They certainly do,” Steffy concurs.
Ridge announces they will be landing soon. Brooke is excited and tells him how romantic Rome is.
She’s hoping it will help him find his faith is destiny again.

RJ, Finn and Liam are working out at the gym on the roof.
A woman asks RJ to spot her. Finn and Liam laugh that she’s playing him.
When RJ joins the other guys, they tease him, saying she was drooling over him.
They notice another woman eyeing him up and tease him some more. RJ says he only invited them there because they are stranded bachelors.
Liam launches into his complaints about Thomas. RJ gets why he’s worried.
He’s brother to Thomas and Hope. Liam wishes he could buy Thomas has changed.
Liam gets back to lifting and continues to vent about Thomas. It doesn’t matter how he behaves. It always comes off as phony.
RJ doesn’t buy that and says he has too much to lose to risk things.
Finn adds he’s seen noticeable changes in Thomas. He seems to have figured things out.
Steffy believes in him. Can’t he believe in Steffy’s judgement?
Liam takes comfort in Steffy being on this trip to keep an eye on things.
RJ gets a text from his mom, letting him know they’ve landed safely.
Finn starts feeling jealous about not being in Rome.
RJ wonders why Liam didn’t go. Liam makes excuses and adds he doesn’t want to be a “creepy, jealous husband.”
Finn suggests he surprise her and be romantic and supportive.
Liam smiles and thinks. He asks Finn if he’s serious.
The doctor spins how great it could be and how it could show Hope how much he cares.
RJ thinks it’s a great idea and Hope will be ecstatic. Liam is convinced.
In Rome, the Forrester team drives up to their villa.
They are welcomed by a woman who tells them to be prepared to be swept up in the eternal city of love.
Brooke tells Ridge they are about to be caught up in the eternal love. He won’t be able to escape the magic.
Carter walks over to Steffy and tells her how epic the photoshoot will be.
As they talk about the view, she stares over at Thomas and Hope.
Thomas tells Hope he likes to see her so happy. Her vision will be brought to life.
She thanks him for making this dream a reality and touches his shoulder.
