Thursday, August 24 recap of B&B: Eric feels like Ridge is putting him out to pasture since he’s old, Finn begs his wife to come home, and Liam tells Hope he won’t forgive her or Thomas.
Wednesday’s B&B recap: After Ending Things With Thomas, Hope Asks Liam to Reunite, But he Wants Steffy Back
At the cabin, Hope tells Liam she lost her way.
She’ll always love him and watching him at their daughter’s birthday made her realize it’s worth the effort to try to hold their family together.
She asks if he feels the same.
He mulls it over. It’s nice to hear her take accountability with Thomas and then says everyone admires and loves her.
She asks if he feels that way. He says of course he loves her but a lot happened. She’s sorry.
So is he for his part in this but she was right. Thomas is a one-woman man and he’s not.
They agree she deserves to be with someone who only wants her.
She admits she tried to use that to justify why she was with Thomas.
She wasn’t wrong about Liam waffling.
He asks how she feels about Steffy and that’s a loaded question.
Liam says he can’t forgive or forget her or Thomas.
She cries and they tell each other they love one another before he kisses her head and goes.
Finn drops by Eric’s. He’s thankful she saw him.
She says of course she would. “You’re my husband.”
They hate that things are in limbo so he asks to fix it.
Being home without them hurts.
He wants to sleep with her and reads the kids bedtime stories.
He’s sorry for what happened but asks her to let him make it right and come home.
She hasn’t responded to his texts or calls again. She hasn’t figured out what to say.
He asks if she loves him. She has. It hasn’t changed and she asks him never to doubt her love for him.
She still doesn’t get why he hugged Sheila. He hasn’t heard from her which worries Steffy most.
He repeats that he won’t let her near them and the kids and he needs his wife and family.
He can’t spend another night away from her. He begs and reminds her they’re meant to be and they flash back to their Monaco reunion.

Daily B&B spoilers into August
At Forrester, Eric rifles through papers at his desk.
Ridge turns up and asks why he’s there.
He asks if he has to constantly remind him that this is his desk and then launches into a discussion about his son avoiding him.
Ridge tilts his head and squints. He asks if his dad’s nuts. He’s been busy and worried about Steffy.
Eric reminds him she’s safe and again asks why he’s avoiding him.
Has he decided he’s not a vital part of FC?
Ridge does the head tilt thing. Eric talks about some of their collections being the best.
“Simple, classic and pure with a twist.”
Ridge says yes, his dad created a legacy.
Eric wants to do a new one.
The most sophisticated and elegant they’ve ever done.
Eric has great ideas and needs to get them down on paper.
Ridge says his dad has inspired him his whole life but he should inspire his grandkids and relax and take it easy.
He gets a call and takes off, leaving Eric hanging. When he returns, Eric thinks Ridge feels that his contributions are not needed anymore.
Ridge denies that but the people he hired are doing their jobs and it’s working.
“Go play golf,” he says. “I’m not some old dinosaur,” Eric argues. Ridge didn’t mean to put him out to pasture.
Eric looks for his stapler and Ridge says it was gone 10 years ago when it stopped working.
Eric barks, “It was worn so you threw it out? You gonna do that with me too, Ridge?”
