Wednesday, August 9 recap of B&B: Ridge blows his stack, Liam and Finn fight over Steffy, and Brooke and Hope talk with Steffy about her imploding marriage.
Tuesday’s B&B recap: Finn confronts Liam, accusing him of undermining his marriage as Steffy tells Eric and ridge she can’t live with Finn.
At Spencer Publications, Liam says Finn can’t tell him how to protect his family and Finn denies that Liam’s even a part of Steffy’s family.
They bicker and Spencer brings up Finn putting his daughter in danger.
Both he and Steffy worry he’ll do it again with Sheila.
Finn snaps that he and Steffy will work things out and he needs to stay away from his wife.
He insists Liam doesn’t know how much he loves his wife but Liam disagrees. In fact, he knows a lot about loving Steffy.
Finn shakes his head and grits his teeth. “You better watch your mouth,” he bites.
He believes Liam wants Steffy back since his marriage to Hope is imploding. It’s why he took the video of him hugging Sheila.
Liam yells, “Dude.” He had his arms around the psychopath who shot him and Steffy.
Liam has never had an issue with him until now.
He asks Finn to admit he embraced Sheila emotionally. He screwed up and wants the doctor to admit it.
Finn won’t let Liam take his family from him but Liam’s not walking away. Finn calls Liam blatant and toxic.
He’s using Finn’s birth mother against him.
Liam reminds him Kelly almost died because of him. Finn says he’s a doctor and saves lives all the time.
“Kelly’s okay. She’s fine. So stop using what happened at the beach as an excuse to go after my wife.”
He won’t allow him to have a future with his wife. Liam says what they had was extraordinary and Finn repeats himself, saying Liam won’t be with her.
At Forrester Creations, Steffy’s happy to report that Rome was money well spent.
They’re still reaping the rewards from the trip and she wants to thank Hope again.
Ridge asks how she’s doing. She’s running on adrenaline.
They agree it’s good she moved into Eric’s. They’ve beefed up security downstairs.
They hold hands as Steffy says she appreciates what he’s done for her. Ridge will always be there for her.
Brooke arrives with Hope, gushing about how amazing the five-page interview spread was. Hope’s surprised to see Steffy in the office.
Steffy can’t hide from the world forever. Brooke offers to come back later and Hope asks if Steffy’s okay.
Steffy lets the blondes know that she left Finn and is staying with her Grandad.
“You left Finn?” After she’s relayed the whole story about the beach incident, Hope defends Finn.
Steffy says he was clinging on to Sheila like he didn’t want to let go, and after what happened to her daughter at the beach… she’ll do what she can to protect her kids.
Brooke thinks she needs to protect herself, too. It’s why Steffy’s so confused, she admits.
Finn has some connection to her that Steffy doesn’t get. Brooke wonders if it’s because she’s his birth mother.

Daily B&B spoilers into August
Hope’s shocked since she and Finn seemed so solid. Steffy says they were but things have been hard on them since Sheila’s appearance.
After Steffy heads home to work, Hope and Brooke gossip about her drama. Hope’s glad hers is over so she can concentrate on work.
“What if Liam wants to be with Steffy?” Her mom asks. Hope knows Finn won’t give up his marriage without a fight.
Brooke says he’s still her husband. Steffy loves Finn and calls him incredible. Ridge talks big about taking care of his family.
He has to make sure her husband knows. He takes off and Hope apologizes that Steffy’s going through this. She identifies.
Steffy explains that her decision to leave Finn has nothing to do with Liam. Hope thinks Liam will be waiting in the wings.
From work, Finn texts Steffy and she ignores every text. Ridge arrives and Finn says to save his breath. He has heard it all.
Ridge says he trusted him with his daughter’s happiness and safety and he failed on both counts.
It’s a problem for the Forrester.
Finn will add it to his list. Ridge doesn’t get his attitude. “You created this problem.”
He asks what’s going on with him.
At Eric’s, Steffy says goodbye to Donna and the kids who are going out for ice cream. Liam turns up and she apologizes.
She forgot he wanted to take Kelly this afternoon. He says it’s fine. He tells her about his visit from Finn.
He reveals he told Finn he loves her and says it’s true. They’re a part of one another and it won’t change.
He holds her hand and calls himself a fool to let her go. If he could, he wouldn’t make that mistake again.
He’d never let her go again. Steffy’s speechless.
