Wednesday, August 9 GH recap: Gregory and Alexis blow off some steam, Carly and Olivia make up, and Marshall and Curtis discuss his future.
Tuesday’s GH recap: Valentin revealed his connection to Pikeman and Sasha hallucinated before Cody’s visitation with her went awry.
In her office, Alexis loses it as she learns that Senator Wilkins was acquitted.
She blames it all on his expensive lawyers and incompetent prosecutors.
She wants to break something. He urges her to.
She won’t because she would have to clean it up.
He suggests something else.
Gregory and Alexis go to the axe throwing club.
He thinks this can be cathartic for her.
His kids recommended it and it’s on his bucket list.
They start throwing. She’s awful at first but gets better and starts giggling and leaping around.
She starts feeling less stressed.
He nearly falls over and needs a break.
She asks about his bucket list. His hand starts shaking.
The pain gets worse every day. It makes him angry but what good will that do?
He can’t stop obsessing about the inevitable.
He was able to ignore his symptoms until he couldn’t.
One doctor’s appointment changed everything and he’s not ready to give it all up. She throws her arms around him.
As his health declines, he keeps having to cancel stuff with his kids so they won’t catch on. She tells him just to enjoy his life as long as he can.
Carly stops by Olivia’s office at the Metro Court. It’s weird to be there.
She’s surprised Nina hasn’t taken it over but her friend wouldn’t let her.
Nina arrives in the doorway as Carly tells Liv how sorry she is about what’s happening with Ned.
Nina thanks Olivia for this morning and then walks off. Carly wants to know what that was about.
Her jaw drops when her friend explains she’s helping to plan Nina and Sonny’s wedding.
She offered because she needed a distraction.
Olivia can’t stop obsessing over Ned. It’s unbearable.
Michael is taking care of the business and Leo seems to be coping better than she is. Plus, Tracy is trying to have Ned committed.
Carly wants to help. Olivia wonders how she can offer after the way she’s treated her.
Carly says they are good. She knows that she was terrified when she snapped at her.
They’re best friends and she needs that.
Carly promises to always be there for her and they hug.
They sit and remember the day they met for Kate and Sonny’s wedding. That was fifteen years ago.
They flash back through their memories.
When Liv says they will always be connected because of Sonny, Carly says she’s not giving her enough credit.
She really values her friendship.
Olivia asks how she feels about her organizing the wedding.
Carly understands why she’s doing and can live with it.

General Hospital’s comings and goings
At home, Portia thinks of telling Curtis that they are in this together.
Trina shows up with her luggage. Her mom is thrilled and throws her arms around her.
She’s less happy when Spencer trundles in with his girlfriend’s stuff.
Portia admits she’s been using Trina’s room for storage.
Her daughter rushes off to clear it up.
When Spencer offers to bring her stuff upstairs, Portia tells him that won’t be necessary.
She can help her daughter move back in.
He says Trina asked him to help. She wants one on one time with her daughter and worries about her safety.
He reminds her Victor is dead.
The doctor says that’s not the only thing she has to worry about.
The bullet that wounded her husband could have been for his other uncle.
Spencer doesn’t want to make her life any more difficult but he’s nothing like either of his uncles, even if he is no saint.
He wants Trina to be safe and happy. To make her life easier, he will take off.
She asks him not to bother saying goodbye in person and he walks out.
Her daughter comes down the stairs, disappointed that Spencer is gone.
Her mom says it’s them again and they manage pretty well.
Trina admits that she came home because she didn’t want her tackling making the house handicap accessible on her own.
Portia says they have some time and he hasn’t even agreed to come home.
She has to wait for him to get through this and let her in.
Trina feels sad and disconnected. Her mom is sure Curtis feels the same way.
He’s just facing paralysis. Her daughter missed her. They hug.
At the PCPD, Jordan drops in on Dante. His dad calls to ask if he’s watching the fight.
After he gets off the line, Jordan asks if he has any news about the pool shooting.
They talk about the little they know. He explains how mysterious the gun is and what the WSB has said about it.
To him, it sounds like the WSB is washing its hands of Anna.
They chat about what Anna and Sonny could have been discussing when the shooting happened.
He admits she doesn’t seem to be handling her situation well.
They need to find that shooter.
Jordan wants to help.
She owes that to Anna and Curtis.
After she exits, he calls Sam and then goes through some files.
Marshall stops by Curtis’ room at General Hospital.
Curtis is frustrated and his father urges him to focus on what he can do.
He pulls out a deck of cards.
That makes Curtis smile. They talk about playing Go Fish and checkers when he was a kid.
Curtis loved spending time with him and hearing him laugh.
His dad is sorry for what he deprived him of but Curtis is just thankful he’s there now.
As they play fish, they chat about Marshall’s music career.
He admits that his band has been offered work in New York but he’s not sure this is a good time to leave.
They turn the topic to Curtis’ future.
He admits that he dreads the thought of going to rehab. It’s like he’s accepting that he will never walk again.
His father tells him that learning to live with being in a wheelchair does not mean giving up hope he can walk again.
He reminds him he doesn’t have to go through this alone.
Curtis knows how determined Portia is to be there, but just seeing her and knowing about the life they won’t have, only makes things worse.
Jordan interrupts and Marshall exits. She always thought Curtis played higher-stakes games that Go Fish.
It makes his father smile. Doing that is nice.
She asks him what he can remember about the shooting.
He wonders why the deputy mayor is investigating. She says she has a personal stake in this and asks him to tell her if he can recall anything.
At Sonny’s penthouse, he finishes watching a movie with Avery.
Once she goes off to bed, Nina arrives and he gushes to Nina about the boxing match he just watched. Seeing him smile means a lot to her.
They admire the ring on her finger and he asks why she was late.
She explains that she bumped into Olivia with Carly. He doesn’t want her to feel like she has to avoid her.
Nina just didn’t want to make anything more tense, especially given Olivia’s role in their wedding plans.
She wants to set a date.
He wants her to have the wedding of her dreams. They kiss and decide to pick a date tomorrow.
