In the Monday, June 19, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Liam gets babysitters for the kids, Carter urges Ridge to seek romance with Brooke, and Hope pokes her mom about Ridge.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where RJ and Finn convinced Liam to surprise Hope in Rome, while in Italy, Brooke told Ridge he can’t resist the romance.
On a rooftop in Rome, Ridge and the rest of Forrester Creations joke around and then toast with the local press, who tell them how great the designs are.
Carter brags Hope and Thomas have outdone themselves.
Ridge thanks everyone for their support and says they have more great memories to make.
They all toast.
Inside, Steffy glares over at Hope and Thomas.
Brooke tells them the line will be a terrific success.
She grits her teeth as Thomas and Hope talk about what they have.
Steffy makes a little speech about how great tomorrow’s event will be and everyone claps.
Out in the garden, Carter assures Ridge and Steffy that everything is under control.
They admire how competent he is. He can’t handle all the compliments.
Steffy leaves to check on the photo shoot.
Carter urges Ridge to unwind with Brooke. His friend tells him not to play matchmaker.
Carter senses the ground is shifting but Ridge insists that he’s misunderstanding.
The lawyer urges him to combat his irritability with the woman he’s loved most of his life.
In the villa, Hope reminds her mom of how bleak things were just a few months ago but now everything has been revitalized. Brooke hopes she’s ready to be the toast of Roma.
Hope admits she has some pre-show jitters but is totally confident in the line. She asks her mom how she’s feeling…about Ridge.
Brooke giggles when her daughter suggests how much fun she and Ridge could have.
Hope tells her mom she knows she’s been watching her and Thomas. She makes it clear she’s also keeping an eye on her mom and Ridge.
She goes on about how “destiny” is in the air. Her mom worries that Ridge has soured on destiny. Hope points out he’s known to change his mind.
Ridge wanders in and asks his ex if she wants to walk the city with him. She and Hope exchange glances and Ridge says he wants to go to the same places he always goes when he comes to Rome.
Once Ridge and Brook exit, Thomas joins Hope and she reminds him that they worked on the line together. It’s not just her moment and he doesn’t need to take a backseat to her.
When she thinks about it, it’s almost surreal that they are in this moment after they nearly lost the line. He’s managed to elevate her vision and make it fun. He grounds her and now they are doing this together.
She’s really thankful to be doing this with him. They smile at each other.
Ridge and Brooke go to look at the coliseum. It’s hard for them to imagine it’s been there thousands of years. Ridge can identify with it.
She tells him she wants to be his Logan again.
They can weather storms just like the coliseum and she wants him to hold onto her and never let go.
When she asks if he still believes in them, he looks into her eyes.
Out by the pool, Steffy helps the photographer with the shoot.
There’s more clapping.

At the cabin, Liam gives Finn Kelly’s shoes.
The doctor tells him he’ll be missing his wife.
Liam still thinks that joining Hope in Rome is exactly what he needs to do now.
He doesn’t want to celebrate her in emojis but be there face to face.
Donna and Eric show up after receiving a message from Liam.
He asks them to watch the kids for a few days while he jets off to surprise Hope.
Eric thinks the show in Rome will be a great success and urges Liam to focus on his wonderful wife.
Liam says he won’t let Thomas be an issue between him and his wife.
Finn is tempted to join him but is too busy.
Eric and Donna are happy to look after Douglas.
Liam thinks this is great and thanks them all for making this easy.
He can’t wait to see the look on Hope’s face.
Eric commends him for the quality of his relationship with Hope and tells him love can overcome all obstacles, as he and Donna know.
Liam says the only obstacle he has to face is miles. It’s time to book a flight.
When he calls to buy a seat, he has trouble and demands to speak to a supervisor.
