General Hospital recap for Monday, June 19, 2023. In today’s GH episode, Ava and Austin plot to get into Sonny’s office, Nina is relieved but Sonny is suspicious, and Zeke tells Portia that Jordan kissed Curtis.
We also have Friday’s GH recap where Ned woke up from the coma and thought he was Eddie Maine, and Sam called Spinelli to help with Cody’s case.
At the penthouse, Ava calls Austin and tells him she hasn’t been able to find anything about the Pikeman deal. She keeps searching and he worries that she might be seen.
When she hears someone, she gets off the line. It’s just Pilar the nanny.
Ava bustles off and the nanny notices that a drawer is open.
Austin startles Laura at General Hospital and she nearly falls over. He gets her some water and she explains she just had bloodwork done.
When she mentions she’s going to the Chechen Republic to look for her son, he tells her she can’t go. He advises it’s medically dangerous and he’s concerned as a citizen for the mayor leaving the country.
She thanks him for the advice but won’t change her mind and walks off.
Ava sends him a text asking to meet.
When Austin meets Ava in his office, he fills her in on the mayor planning to jet off to search for her dead son. She says she couldn’t find anything at the penthouse.
Any information about Pikeman is likely in his office. Austin has an idea for how to get in. He suggests they replace Pilar with a different nanny. Ava will have to convince Sonny to fire her.
Nina corners Sonny. He notices she doesn’t have her ring on. She tries to find the words to tell him because once he knows what she has to say, there’s no going back.
Dante and Leo interrupt. The kid jogs off and Dante explains Ned is still sleeping.
Sonny sits on the steps with Leo and they talk about Ned’s brain. The mobster assures him his dad will fight to get well.
In Ned’s room, he insists his name is Eddie and he doesn’t recognize any of his family. Tracy asks if he remembers hitting his head.
“I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about lady,” he says, accusing them of running a scam. He bellows at Olivia that he’s not her husband.
TJ asks the ladies to step out while he examines him.
Outside, Tracy complains her son hasn’t gotten past his rockstar fantasy. She didn’t see this coming. Frazzled Olivia tells herself this is just the anaesthetic.
As Olivia weeps, BLQ suggests it’s likely best that Leo not see Ned until he’s back to himself. She urges Tracy to be sympathetic to Olivia while she goes off to see Leo.
Once BLQ is gone, Tracy sits with Olivia, pats her, and says, “There, there.”

BLQ goes out to the others and explains that Ned is awake but a bit confused. Dante leads Leo away to see his mom.
BLQ tells Sonny and Nina that Ned thinks he’s Eddie. Sonny recognizes that as Ned’s old stage name. BLQ explains that’s who he thinks he is.
Nina gets confirmation that he doesn’t remember the fall or the past few days. BLQ runs off and Nina says that when she thinks of the problems the Quartermaines are going through, hers seem like nothing. She smiles and takes his hand.
He wonders what she wanted to tell him. She claims she accidentally dropped her ring down the drain. He’ll call a plumber.
Sonny is concerned about how she’s acting. He’s not concerned about a piece of jewelry, just her.
Dante and Leo hug their mom and TJ returns to explain that Ned seems physically normal. However, he seems confused.
Prognosis for a full recovery will be hard. This could last for some time. They will do all they can to treat him.
Olivia thinks this is crazy. TJ leaves to call some specialists.
She panics and Dante tries to keep her calm. BLQ looks in at her father.
Leo breezes past them into Ned’s room. When Leo calls him “Dad,” Neddie says he’s no one’s dad.
Leo says he adopted him. BLQ jogs in and Neddie bellows he’s not her dad either. Leo runs away.
Tracy goes after Leo. When she finds him, she tells him that his dad hit his head and he’s confused. Somewhere deep inside, he knows who they are and he will always be his dad.
Jordan sits in her office and thinks of calling Curtis. She calls and is about leave a voicemail when she just says, “Nevermind.”
Laura bursts into her office and tells her she needs her to resign so she can be the acting mayor while she’s gone.
She’ll have to find a replacement police commissioner immediately. Jordan turns her down. She’s a cop, not a politician.
Laura reminds her that she’s a civil servant. She trusts her and asks if she’s ready for a new challenge. Jordan accepts.
By the Metro Court pool, Curtis tells Trina how great his birthday party has been. She is just glad that he and her mom seem to be getting back together.
They chat about her staying with Joss and her mom. He understands that she needs space and says her mom is trying to respect her boundaries.
They chat about school and he wonders if they should track down her mom.
In the Metro Court, Portia is confused when Zeke vents that Curtis has been behaving.
With some prodding from her, he explains that Curtis kissed Jordan.
She doesn’t believe it and demands the details. He admits Jordan told him and they spent the night together. She is still hung up on her ex.
Curtis and Portia show up. She senses something is up with her mom. Zeke leads his niece away.
“Did you kiss Jordan?” Portia abruptly asks her husband. He admits it happened a few weeks ago while he was confused.
It was mutual but Jordan made him realize how much he wanted to give their marriage a second chance. He didn’t want to tell her while things were so fragile between them.
She complains about how concerned he’s been about transparency. He points out this was hardly the same thing as lying about Trina’s paternity for twenty years.
The doctor worries about all the time he’s been spending with his ex. They both know Jordan has been harboring feelings for him. She didn’t know he felt the same way.
Tearing up, she wishes she could believe he wanted to be with her but she can’t do this right now and walks off.
Zeke takes Trina back to the pool and babbles. She guesses something is going on between her mom and Curtis and demands to know what it is.
He convinces her to stand back for now. He’s happy to see how strong her bond with her mom still is.
She admits she’ll always love her mom, even if she’s disappointed her. She’ll always be at her side.
He’s glad to hear her say that. When she explains Curtis also made the case for her to forgive her mom, he suggests she keep her distance from him.
