Wednesday, June 28, 2023, full episode recap of B&B: Hope sobs as Liam forces her to reveal what she said, word for word, and Steffy tells Finn all about Hope kissing Thomas but she deliberately keeps out the fact that Liam kissed her.
Friday’s B&B recap: Liam Confronts Hope About Her Romance, and Taylor Tells Ridge He’s Doomed When He Announces He’s Back with Brooke
Hope stammers over her words as she notices Liam’s luggage next to her and the tags that prove he was in Rome and questions him.
“Yeah, I was in Italy,” he says. She’s surprised he didn’t tell her until now.
He says he wanted to show up for her at the preview, to support and love her and to tell her how sorry he was for doubting her. He missed it all.
Her eyes dart around, guilt playing out on her face. She still doesn’t get why he didn’t want to see her.
“I didn’t say I didn’t see you,” he says. She asks him to explain but he says maybe it’s time she did the explaining.
She’s confused so he asks what she did. She details the preview and press which was a hit.
He asks what happened after the event and asks if she went sightseeing. She says she did. “Alone or were you…with someone?” He asks.
He suggests it was her mom or Carter and she goes back to him taking off instead of coming to find her. Liam again asks who she did sightseeing with. She doesn’t want to talk about Rome because she claims he’s her focus.
Liam gets angry and pressures her to tell him where she went and with who. The colosseum?
She starts to cry and says she went. When he asks who she went with, she can’t say it.
They both know who she went and Liam says he saw them together.
Out in the open. She thought he was looking after their children and thought that he’d never find out but he found out.
He wants her to say it. She flashes to kissing Thomas and shakes her head.
Liam tells her to repeat after him. “I…I…come on, Hope. I kissed…”
Hope finally reveals she kissed Thomas after Liam yells in her face.
At the Cliff house, Steffy tells Finn that something happened in Rome and Liam saw it.
Finn studders. “What did he see?”
She flashes back to Liam filling her in on seeing Hope kiss Thomas and that Hope initiated the kiss.
Finn’s shocked and Steffy says she is too and hopes that their marriage is able to survive and that Liam can forgive her.
They agree Hope has feelings for Thomas. When Finn walks away, Steffy flashes to kissing Liam and winces.
At Forrester’s CEO office, RJ tells his mom he is happy his parents are back together.
What kid wouldn’t want that?
Brooke hugs him and he says he loves seeing her smile, especially when it’s because of Dad.
The eternal city worked its magic, he says. She calls it larger than life.
He akins that to her whole life story and they call it a happy ending that’ll be complicated for Dad because of Taylor.
It’ll hurt her. RJ’s excited for his parents but for Taylor, it makes the end of them getting back together. Brooke mutters, “Hmm.”
Later, RJ clarifies that a keyhole got them back together. Brooke says not just any keyhole.
The Aventine Keyhole. His father saw everything they told him he would see. She flashes back to somehow seeing Ridge look through the keyhole at her and then finding her and the reunion.
They talk about how Taylor will be heartbroken at the prospect of losing Ridge forever.

In Taylor’s office, Taylor asks if Ridge is a thousand percent sure he wants to be with Brooke.
Ridge calls it a done deal. He and Brooke are reunited.
Taylor says a part of her is hurting for herself and another part for him.
She knows they always want what’s best for them but she knows Brooke will only cause more heartache for him and chaos.
But he knows what he’s getting into. He knows the risk.
Ridge asks if there’s anything he can say or do.
“Yes, be happy and keep your eyes open,” she says.
She’s already told him how she feels about him and says, “So much for the pact.”
Taylor starts trashing Brooke, reminding Ridge of Brooke’s misdeeds over the years. Ridge raises his voice, saying he’s trying to make her understand.
Taylor says she has children with his father and she slept with his brother Thorne.
“Okay, I did too,” she says, backtracking, but what she didn’t do was get pregnant with her daughter’s husband and have a child.
He should remember who Brooke is at her core. It’ll never change.
She doesn’t get how Ridge can continue to get himself into this heartbreak on repeat. She loves him. When he says nothing, she tells him she’s done.
