Wednesday, June 28, 2023, full episode recap of GH: Nina urges Neddie to leave, Drew and Carly have to say goodbye, Lucy recruits Felicia to snoop on Martin, and BLQ suspects Tracy is working with someone.
Tuesday’s GH recap: Mason threatened Ava before Avery went missing, while Joss wanted Spencer to use the falsified evidence to put Esme in prison.
By the Metro Court pool, Martin tries tempting Lucy to a swim. She turns him down and finishes his cake. He wonders what’s weighing on her.
Felicia and Mac show up and Lucy insists they join them. The men are sent off to fetch drinks, Lucy encouraging Martin to bond with Mac.
Felicia asks Lucy why she really asked her there. Coe tells her about how cryptic Martin has been about money and his role in The Deceptor.
She assumes something is very fishy and wants Felicia to spy on him.
The men sit. Mac takes off his shirt but Martin keeps his on.
They talk about how Lucy seems intent to re-create the dynamic that she and Kevin had with him and Felicia.
When the lawyer talks about how charitable Lucy is, the cop laughs.
He says she can forgive the small things, but not anyone who treats her like she’s stupid or lacking agency.
Brook Lynn arrives at the Crimson office, where Maxie is drowning in paperwork since her assistant quit to find herself.
The Quartermaine brought her lunch.
Maxie thought she was taking today off and starts babbling about all the sales.
It’s hard for her to keep up with everything and needs a bigger house.
She admits it’s been hard for her to move because of Nathan. It’s where they met and shared their lives together. “It’s like an adult emotional support blanket,” Maxie says.
BLQ says she doesn’t have to let it go but sometimes change is good.
Maxie marvels at how they have become friends. BLQ isn’t sure she should trust her so much.
The boss gets a call from distribution and has to take off.
Immediately, BLQ snoops and starts downloading Maxie’s files onto a drive.
When Maxie returns, BLQ is gone.
At the Quartermaine estate, Tracy looks at the text that she sent to BLQ, prodding her to find something in Maxie’s office.
Dante and Sam arrive with Scout. They came to see Drew, who walks in.
He spends a minute with his daughter and then Dante takes her to the garden.
Drew fills Tracy in on his sentence and asks Sam how they will break the news to their daughter.
Tracy tells him he should change his plea and throw Carly under the bus.
He refuses but Sam agrees with her. He continues to refuse and insists this is the most amount of good for the most people.
The ladies think him sacrificing himself for Carly is ridiculous.
Scout returns and asks why they are fighting. Her parents claim they aren’t.
Sitting the kid down, Drew explains he’s a little worried because he made a mistake the police aren’t happy about and he has to go away.
He has to go and will make the most of it but the first person he sees when he gets back will be her.
They hug. Tracy leads her out as they promise she can come and visit him.
BLQ joins them and tells Drew how sorry she is about this situation. Drew asks Sam if it’s really a good idea for Scout to visit him in prison. She says it was fine when she visited her in prison.
Dante offers to help any way he can and leaves.
Once BLQ and Tracy are alone, she hands her the drive with all the information. It’s clear that Tracy is working with someone else.
Joss finds her mom in the kitchen and asks how she can be okay with Drew going to Pentonville for three years. They go over what an injustice this is.
Carly assumes her daughter thinks it was a mistake not to turn on Sonny.
She repeats that’s a line she wouldn’t cross.
Joss claims she’s had a change of heart about Sonny and she’s softened on him. If she and Michael can let go of their anger, so can she.
That makes her mom happy.
Her daughter struggles with Sonny being guilty of so much while walking free. She’s sure Sam must be outraged about Scout losing her father.
Diane shows up and announces that Carly’s accounts will be unfrozen tomorrow.
The financial restitution she has to be is significant.
Carly’s is shocked when she sees the number.
It’s five million. That’s her entire savings. Joss offers to use her trust fund and suggests the rest of the family can help. Diane says that can’t happen.
That would just put everyone else’s finance’s under the microscope and that will raise even more questions. She knows it may not seem like it now, but this is actually a good deal.
After the lawyer leaves, Carly realizes she has to get a job. Joss says she doesn’t deserve something so awful. Carly is determined to claw her way back to the top.
Joss believes her. Hugging her, Carly says they will get through this.
Drew arrives and gives them hugs before Joss leaves them alone. They know they have to say goodbye.

At Sonny’s penthouse, Neddie tries heading for the door. Sonny stops him. Neddie explains he researched him on the computer and it was quite the eye-opener.
Is the boss going to break his legs? Sonny says he would go pretty far for Olivia but knows she wouldn’t want him to stay under threat.
Maybe some of his reputation is true and some of it isn’t, but he will make him an offer he can’t refuse. He is connected to every industry in town, including music.
As long as Neddie sticks around, he may introduce him to the right people and he can be signed to a label.
In the park, Ava yells for her daughter. Chase and some cops arrive and she tells them that someone has taken Avery.
A cop gets a statement from Pilar the nanny. Ava panics. Chase says kids wander off sometimes. The Jerome says she has every reason to believe she was kidnapped.
After flashing back to Austin warning her about Mason, she claims that Sonny has lots of enemies. The detective leaves to put out an APB.
She calls Sonny to say Avery has disappeared and she has a bad feeling. Sonny rushes over with Frank.
Chase warns the mob boss that his presence could elevate the situation. Sonny threatens to get Dante involved. Ava tells the mobster there’s something he needs to know.
Austin shows up with Avery holding a balloon. The doctor explains he found her running around by the pond. Luckily, she remembered him and he offered to buy her a balloon if he let him take her to Pilar.
Sonny tells her never to walk off like that again and then walks over to Pilar and orders her never to let Avery out of her sight again. He leaves with his daughter.
Ava glares at Austin as he gives Chase his story. As soon as the cops are gone, she slaps the doctor and accuses him of setting this whole thing up.
Back at the penthouse, Nina tells Neddie that Avery is fine. He’s sure having children is terrifying. She tells him they make life meaningful.
He needs the room and time for his passion and is afraid if he spends time around these people who think he’s their dad will make him soft.
Nina tells him that staying here to be a big fish in a small pond would be nice… unless he wants fame and attention.
Sonny arrives with Avery and Nina rushes the little girl into the kitchen for a snack.
Neddie admits to the boss that he has reservations about staying in town, but for the moment he’s willing to give it a chance. They shake hands.
Nina eavesdrops and rolls her eyes.
