In the Monday, June 12, 2023, full episode recap of Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke learns that she’ll be interviewed in Italy, Steffy questions Hope’s “vibe,” and Wyatt has issues getting Liam to pay attention at work.
In the CEO office of Forrester, Thomas tells Brooke how “awesome” it is that he and her daughter are in synch.
Brooke plants a smile on her face that doesn’t reach her eyes and nods.
Ridge talks about Brooke going on the trip with them because she’s such a big part of this company.
Carter appears and agrees. In fact, they’ve got a lot of interviews lined up for her. She’s grateful they both think so highly of her.
Carter makes the list. “We have BeLief, The Men’s Collection and Brooke’s Bedroom.” It’s no wonder if they’re asking if you’re making the trip to Italy.
Ridge calls her a legend. Later, Thomas wonders how Taylor will feel hearing that she is going to Italy with Ridge. Brooke furrows her brow.
Ridge calls it a work trip. She gets it. Thomas wasn’t trying to make it a big deal. He heard that she and Brooke had a fallout.
Brooke says they don’t have the same perspective of what a friendship is. Thomas calls it a shame. Their friendship bought peace to their families.
Ridge agrees. Thomas thinks it’s up to him and Hope to keep it going. Brooke says no, they can do it themselves.
He goes and Ridge asks if Brooke actually thinks something is going to happen between Hope and his son.
Brooke just wants everything to work out and she has a good feeling about the trip, calling it a game changer.
She’s looking forward to being alone with him. Ridge smiles.
At Spencer Publications, Wyatt talks to Liam about buying another publisher that isn’t doing too well.
Liam drinks coffee and says, “Yeah, no, for sure.”
Wyatt notices his brother’s being distant and says they can just blow up the building.
Liam agrees and Wyatt snaps. “Liam! I just said we’d blow up the building.” Liam’s admonished and apologizes, having issues thinking of anything but Hope and Thomas.
Wyatt gets it. He should be worried about them going to Italy together.
He details how it’ll be with them spending all their time together in a country that is all about love.
Liam feels worse. Wyatt can’t help it. He yells that his brother can’t let this trip happen.
Liam asks how. Wyatt isn’t sure but maybe there’s a way he can keep Thomas from going since the problem is him, not Hope. Liam looks away and Wyatt goes on for a while about Hope’s virtues and then talks smack about Brooke.
Liam calls him out on that but Wyatt claims he’s just mentioning it because it’s the past. Just because Thomas is walking around saying he’s a changed man, doesn’t make it true. Liam argues that his wife believes it.
Wyatt considers she might find a new lead designer once the pressure is off. Liam likes that idea and still says Thomas is the problem.
Wyatt suggests Liam go to Rome, too but Liam doesn’t want to be the guy to keep tabs on her and doesn’t really want a front seat to the Hope and Thomas show. Wyatt says it sounds nauseating.

In the design office, Steffy notices Hope’s mood.
Hope says she has everything under control, which makes Steffy assume “this vibe” she is sensing has to do with her brother.
Hope smiles incredulously.
What is Steffy talking about? Steffy thinks Hope knows that she is concerned that Hope’s feelings for Thomas will cause her brother to backslide.
Hope says he’s reinvented himself and she’s proud of him.
Steffy thinks she’s reaped the benefits of this. Hope’s grateful. Steffy brings up Liam being unhappy with them going away together.
“The question is, how do you feel about it?” Hope says he deserves this moment. They’re a team.
Steffy asks if she shared this with Liam and Hope says yeah, she claims she’s honest with her husband.
Like she said, everything is under control. Steffy hopes so. Hope scoffs and Thomas walks in, quickly reading the room.
He asks what he walked in on. Steffy says Hope was just saying she’s happy he’s going to Rome with her.
He thanks Hope for allowing him to go and she reminds him of his place in the company.
He thinks the preview and press event will make a positive change in the world. Steffy won’t let anyone or anything get involved in creating issues with the line.
Thomas can see what she’s getting at and tells his sister that he and Hope are going to be fine.
Steffy goes and Thomas groans and tells Hope not to worry about his “bossy sister who is just being the boss.” Thomas repeats himself that this is strictly about business.
When he shows her a sketch, her heart beats wildly in her chest and she fantasizes about having sex with him.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Hope loved Thomas’ new design, Wyatt wasn’t helpful as Liam panicked, and Brooke told both Ridge and Hope she was going to Rome.
