Tues Oct 3 recap of B&B: Ridge tells Brooke he doesn’t understand what his father is doing, Luna admires how genuine RJ is, and Katie gets a sneak peek at the designs.
Monday’s B&B recap:Sheila agreed to marry Deacon, and Taylor confronted Hope before telling Brooke that her daughter is turning into her.
Brooke is gabbing on the phone at Forrester Creations. Picking up the latest issue of Eye on Fashion with Thomas and Hope on the cover, she sighs.
Taylor bustles in, eager to finish their conversation.
Brooke rubs in she cut the last one short to be with Ridge.
The doctor thinks she’s laying that on thick but Brooke insists she was just giving her information.
Ridge shows up with food in his mouth.
Taylor dropped by to catch him up on Steffy and the kids.
She and her ex talk about Thomas.
He’s sure that his son has it under control. He’s more worried about Steffy.
If anything happens with their son, he will let her know.
“I will let you two get at it,” Taylor says, walking out awkwardly. Brooke purses her lips.
They talk about his collection and he admits he doesn’t want to be at odds with his dad.
Something is going on with him.
They sit and go over all of the high profile designs that Eric has created.
Ridge doesn’t know what he has to prove to anyone.
Why doesn’t he work with him?
That would make more fiscal sense.
Eric looks at fabric samples in the office.
His hands start to shake.
He gets annoyed and tells RJ and Luna that these won’t do.
She hands Eric some paperwork to sign but he can’t do it, snaps at her, and rushes out.
RJ apologizes to Luna for how his grandfather was acting.
He explains that he’s “compromised.”
After more samples are delivered, RJ looks them over and Luna asks who else knows the secret.
He insists no one does.
She wonders why he told her.
He says she’s part of the team and trustworthy.
Luna asks what is actually going.
RJ says Eric claims it’s arthritis but he thinks it could be more serious.
She says he’s a good guy to care.
RJ can see Eric’s condition is getting worse.
He knows if he told Ridge, he would understand and step aside.
It’s nice to have someone to talk to about this.
She’s happy to listen if he wants and promises not to say anything to anyone.
He explains that he never even wanted to be part of the design business.
He’s just doing this to help Eric.
She hasn’t met a lot of guys like him.
It’s touching.
She could always tell from his social media how genuine he is. He’s special.

Daily B&B spoilers into October
Katie drops by Eric’s to see Donna.
She asks how worried she is that Eric might lose the fashion challenge to Ridge.
Donna says it’s so important to him it’s like his life depends on it.
That sounds pretty dramatic to her sister.
They talk about how vibrant he still is.
Eric arrives, declaring it will be his final collection and it will be on his terms.
He’s sorry for interrupting.
Katie says she just wanted a sneak peek and everything looks wonderful.
He complains about Ridge wanting him to step aside but she thinks his work is great.
Eric says she’s always been his favorite brunette Logan sister.
Repeating that the designs are fabulous, she gives him a hug and takes off.
Donna urges her Honey Bear to rest. He seems worked up.
Eric admits that something happened with Luna.
She’s going to think he’s some ogre because he got angry when she tried to get him to sign papers.
Donna tells him that they can face what’s going on with him.
He’s the most powerful man she knows and has instilled his positivity in multiple generations.
He’s given her the best years of her life and filled her with love.
She can never thank him enough.
They will get through this together.
As they kiss, Dr. Colby arrives.
The test results are in. Eric asks what’s wrong with him.
The doctor looks down.
