Wed Oct 4 recap of B&B: Ridge tells Brooke he wishes he knew what was up with his father, RJ gets Luna to tell him about her family, and Donna is annoyed Eric has been keeping things from her.
Tuesday’s B&B recap: Dr. Colby brought Eric and Donna test results and RJ told Luna something was wrong with Eric.
At Eric’s place, he and Donna welcome Dr. Colby and thank him for his discretion.
Eric asks what’s wrong with him. He needs to know.
“Cerebrovascular disease and TIA is our main focus,” says the doctor. Donna looks shocked. Eric shakes.
There is still more testing to do so it’s unclear.
Eric admits the tremors are getting worse. He can hardly hold a pen half the time.
When he thanks the doctor from coming, he can barely shake his hand.
Once the doctor is gone, Donna throws her arms around Eric.
He admits he expected this could be the case. She’s annoyed that he didn’t tell her that.
He means more to her than she can say but she can’t help if he doesn’t tell her everything.
Maybe she can’t draw for him, but she can show him how much she loves him.
He’s sorry. She doesn’t want an apology, she wants him to open up to her so they can fight this together.
There can be no more secrets.
Donna rants that it’s a crime for a world renowned artist to be denied his gift like this. She refuses to let her Honey Bear lose who he is and they will get all the best help the world has to offer.
She knows he’s strong and proud, but she’s getting scared.
It’s time to tell Ridge. She begs him to tell the whole family.
He wants to do this alone. He wants to do it his way.
When he’s finished this competition, he will prove to everyone he is the best designer.
She thinks he needs to end the games and the stupid competition and tell his family he’s sick.
He insists it’s not stupid. This is his final line and he doesn’t want anyone to know.
He built this company by hand and he can run it again. Ridge will see who gets the most orders.
There’s only one master and that’s him.
Sobbing, she hugs him.
Donna tells him how much she loves him, gives him a kiss, and walks off to make tea.
As soon as she’s gone, he starts sketching.
Eric begins coughing. Eventually, he coughs up blood.

Daily B&B spoilers into October
At Forrester Creations, Brooke is impressed by Ridge’s latest dress design as it’s modeled. She admires how sensual it is.
Kenzie the model comments that Ridge has been more inspired since he reunited with Brooke.
Cuddling up to Brooke, Ridge says he’s always been inspired by his “little nugget.”
As Kenzie takes off, Carter arrives and says Eric will have to keep up his A-game to compete with him.
Ridge admits this whole situation is bothering him. It’s like something is pushing his father to create this line.
After Carter takes off, Brooke wants to distract him. She suggests they go to the spa or their big empty bed.
He likes the second idea but can’t stop worrying about his dad. Ridge doesn’t know what he wants.
Maybe if he beats him in this competition, that will be the end of it.
Down the hall, Luna admires how much RJ cares about his grandfather. She promises again not to tell anyone about the tremors. He trusts her.
She knows a thing or two about family dynamics. is this something he wants to keep from his dad?
It isn’t. But he doesn’t see what choice he has. He feels caught in the middle and doesn’t want to betray Eric.
When she admits she didn’t have such a great relationship with her grandfather, RJ realizes they’ve been talking all about him.
He asks for a Luna secret. She tries to change the subject but he won’t drop it.
She explains that her family is from North California. They are free spirits and her mom is kind of a hippy.
They may not have had much, but her mom always made sure she was loved.
She thinks she’s pretty boring but he thinks she’s fascinating.
Luna thanks him for being so welcoming. She thinks he’s super special.
She’s sure that when his dad finds out how he has been with Eric, his father will love him more.
She adds he’s kind, generous, and very handsome.
