In the Tuesday, June 20, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Hope and Thomas sing each other’s praises, Ridge suggest Brooke wear a dress, and Bill has a solution to Liam’s problem.
We also have Monday’s B&B recap where Liam had issues getting a flight to Rome, and Hope and Carter pushed Ridge and Brooke to get together.
Ridge and Brooke stand by the Colosseum. She tells him that structure has endured so much…just like them. He’d like to believe in them.
She wants to lead the way. “You’re going to get us lost,” he says.
Taking his hand and giggling, she leads him off.
As they walk through a park of statues, he suggests she wear one of Hope’s dresses tomorrow. The press would eat up a mother and daughter pairing and she’s been the face of Forrester for so long.
She takes him to see the canon that has been going off since 1842. Brooke says that if she is going to wear a gown, he needs to pose with her in a toga. He doesn’t think anyone needs to see that.
Ridge teases her and she admits that she’s already lost. The only destination she’s sure of is their future together.
He admits that his love for her will never die, but if they have to try so hard to make it work, maybe it doesn’t exist anymore. Isn’t she tired of all this?
Just coming to a city to try and make it work doesn’t make much sense. Brooke wants to believe this could be a new beginning for them. She needs him to believe she can be his Logan again.
The cannon goes off and she tells him it’s a sign. Ridge nearly falls over. He smiles and shakes his head.
In the villa, Thomas reads the latest draft of Hope’s speech and tells her he wouldn’t change a word. The way she talks about her line and how her spirit comes through will make everyone who hears it love her.
“They’re going to love us,” she says. She had the vision but he brought it to life. She’s so grateful to be in this magical city with him.
He starts drawing and tells her how inspiring Rome is. She beams and is happy to see him sketching.
They talk about how smart their kid is. He wants to do something special for him to make up for the time they’ve lost.
Steffy and Carter wander in. Hope is sure that everything is perfect and Rome will be the perfect backdrop for their collection.
They talk about the buzz and Steffy asks about Hope’s speech. Thomas says she’s choosing every word carefully. He talks about her incredible eloquence and passion.
Uncomfortable Steffy comments they love singing each other’s praises. Hope says they wouldn’t be here without Thomas saving the line.
Carter says nothing gets better than beautiful elegant designs in a beautiful elegant city.
Thomas is confident Hope will “kill it” tomorrow.
They head outside and Carter explains they are going to showcase the line in Piazza Navona by a Bernini sculpture.
They’re impressed and sure this will be a great success.
Back inside, Hope thanks Thomas for being the gifted man behind her and her line.

In the cabin, Bill arrives as Liam is desperately trying to get a flight to Rome but having no luck. His father asks what’s going on.
Flailing around, Liam explains that he realized he wants to be with his wife. His dad gets that. Liam wants to share the big moment with Hope.
Bill reminds him that he owns a jet. Liam’s head nearly explodes.
As his father sits, Liam paces and vents about Thomas once again and how entwined he is in Hope’s life. He worries the other man’s obsession could fester.
Bill tells him he should go to Rome. Liam agrees and he wants to support his wife. They need to recharge.
His father says he’s headed to Europe anyway and the jet is ready.
Soon after, they are on the jet and Liam tells his father he’s a lifesaver. “Just call me Dollar Cupid,” Bill says.
Liam smiles about how surprised Hope will be to see him.
