In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Jack tells Kyle and Summer what Diane told him, Phyllis is disappointed Jack hasn’t kicked Diane to the curb, and Victor sides with Victoria about firing Sally.
In the previous episode, Abby and Chance fought over his job, Billy called Sharon for help, and Devon confronted Victoria and Nate over their collusion.

Jack is startled when he notices that Kyle and Summer are back.
He welcomes them home to the Abbott estate.
They tell him Harrison is sleeping and loved his trip to Costa Rica.
Ashley joins them and they tell her how great it is to come back home.
She gets dour.
Ashley explains there have been some developments with Diane and Tucker.
Once she leaves, Jack explains what Diane told him to the kids. They think her plot with Tucker was despicable.
Kyle kicks himself for believing in his mother.
He thinks it was unforgivable for her to worm her way into Harrison’s heart.
Jack explains that Diane had no choice about lying to everyone.
He recaps what she told him about being blackmailed into helping with money laundering.
That’s when Tucker moved in and they made a deal to share information.
Kyle says they are glad to know the truth. Summer wonders about the timing.
Jack explains that Phyllis and Nikki were working with Talia to take Diane down.
Summer is appalled that her mom was lying too.
Diane spots Tucker at Society.
She heads to his table and suggests he save his breath.
She’s not giving up no matter what he threatens.
He’s sorry if he sounded threatening the other day.
He’s sure that from her perspective confessing seemed like a great way to get out of his clutches.
Tucker says he’ll just have to forgive and accept, even though she’s destroyed half of his dream.
She doesn’t buy that. She tells him she hasn’t been in a position to get financial information on Jabot.
Diane doesn’t understand how he could think that taking over Jabot would win Ashley back.
“Who says I’m trying to take it away from her?” he asks.
Diane demands to know what he is planning. He won’t say.
He’s sure it must be agonizing for her to constantly look over her shoulder.
Ashley wanders into the ranch and finds Nikki watching Victor playing chess with Faith online.
Once she sits down, he brings up Tucker.
She tells them about Tucker and Diane working together.
He says his wife has been dealing with that and wonders what it has to do with Ashley.
Victor urges her to be faithful and stands up as Phyllis rushes in.
He’s amazed to see the three of them together and wishes them luck before walking out.
Phyllis tells her co-conspirators that they have enough to blow Diane out of town.
She likes to know that Diane has been lying and soon everyone else will know this feeling.
They sit around and trash DiDi, patting themselves on the back.
Ashley suspects there is more going on with Tucker than they know.
Phyllis is disappointed to hear that Jack hasn’t kicked Diane to the curb.
She thinks Diane must have him brainwashed. Ashley says Jack still seems willing to accept her side of the story.
Nikki thinks Diane has dug her nails in too deep. Ashley thinks she will dig them into Jack and his son even deeper.
As Ashley plays with her hair, they talk about how disgusting Diane is.
Nikki asks her how things are developing with Tucker.
They need something too sordid to forgive.
Phyllis gets tired of hearing what Ashley has to say about McCall.
She declares that this is all on her and leaves to “make sure that bitch doesn’t wriggle off the hook.”
Back at the Abbott estate, Kyle feels conflicted about this.
Summer doesn’t. She’s pissed at her mom.
Phyllis swans in. They assume they know why she is there.
She’s glad they know Diane is not the saint she’s pretending to be.
They confront her about digging for dirt after she swore she wouldn’t.
Phyllis protests that she’s not the bad one here.
She’s been right the whole time and told them so.
“What are you gonna do about Diane now kids?” she demands.

In her former office, Sally calls Chloe, leaving a message begging her to call back.
As she packs her box, Adam strolls in.
She informs him that she and Chloe have been let go.
He thinks that’s crazy.
Adam asks her to ask Chloe to let him know if she hears from Chelsea.
Things are awkward. He tells her she did an excellent job, and it makes no sense to let go of her.
She reminds him it’s a waste of time to try to understand Newman motivations.
It was no shock. Victoria made it clear she was only there on a trial basis.
Adam thinks she’s handling this gracefully.
He wonders how much say Nick had in this. She insists this was Victoria’s decision alone.
Adam blames himself for her getting fired.
He offers to get her work at Jabot, but she doesn’t want help to save his guilt.
After wishing her good luck, he takes a lingering look at her and walks out.
Victoria brings coffee to Nick in her office.
He’s still grouchy about what they did to Sally, but she feels great about bringing Nate on board.
Her brother still thinks she’s doing this to erase all traces of Adam.
She questions him about his relationship with Sally. He insists this is only about Spectra’s talent.
His sister doesn’t buy it and demands to know how serious things are between them.
He claims that’s irrelevant, but Victoria disagrees.
She points out that his “thing” with Sally was doomed to make trouble.
He doesn’t appreciate her using this as an excuse to hire Nate.
They bicker about their perspectives and she refuses to regret her choice.
Victor pops up to agree with her.
Nick complains about Nate being a traitor.
When he stands up for Sally, his father suggests he let her go.
He wouldn’t want the same thing to happen to him that did to Adam.
Nick doesn’t back down and continues to hype Sally. He accuses them of letting their feelings color their business decisions.
Adam bumps into his brother at Crimson Lights and they immediately start bickering about Sally.
Adam accuses him of grabbing what he wanted and treating Sally as disposable.
He suggests that beneath Nick’s nice guy exterior, they aren’t that different.
Sally pops up and asks if there is a problem.
The brothers bicker and Adam tells Sally not to let his brother manipulate her with his puppy dog eyes. Nick dismisses this and his brother exits.
Nick worries that Sally might believe Adam. She doesn’t. She’s in survival mode now so can only speak in cliches.
Nick admires how resilient she is and will do anything he can to help her.
She appreciates the offer and he doesn’t need to keep standing up for her.
Sally doesn’t want anyone’s help. Whatever comes next, she has to find on her own.
