Days of our Lives Peacock recap for Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Alex wants Eric and Nicole to appear together in Bella Magazine, while Rafe and Gabi commiserate about their relationships and Kristen blackmails Li.
In the last Days recap, as EJ and Susan bonded and Wendy and Johnny shared a moment while Xander considered Ava’s request for help in kidnapping Susan for a ransom.
At Allie’s place, Johnny and Wendy share a moment before he tells her they better get over to DiMera Enterprises to find out what Li and EJ are up to.
Johnny hates what his dad did to Stefan.
Wendy argues that’s where they’re different.
She still loves her brother.
At DiMera, Li finishes a call with his father to tell him he hired Wendy. Kristen arrives.
Since he’s handing out promotions, she asks him to give one to Chloe Lane.
He doesn’t get it. She clarifies. She wants Chloe here at DiMera and away from Brady at Basic Black.
He doesn’t have room for a fashion consultant. His sister is a brilliant IT expert.
He asks why she doesn’t do it herself. She says EJ fired him for backing Gabi.
She vows to tell “my old pal Gabi that she aversion therapied the love of her life into loathing her.”
He reminds her she was a part of it. He preyed on her. “You can’t prey on a cobra,” he says.
She suddenly thinks Chloe’s not a threat to her now that she’s with Brady. But Stefan’s a threat to Li if she finds out what he did.
He hears her. She sits down and puts her feet up. Li says she sounds desperate to get Chloe away from Brady.
She says rebuilding a relationship takes time and she doesn’t need the distraction for Brady.
He calls DiMera Enterprises a business, not couples therapy. She laughs, calling him a hypocrite.
What if Gabi was working with Stefan? He sighs harshly. She threatens to go to Rolf.
On a call with Nancy at Basic Black, Chloe tells her mother about the breakup and how she doesn’t get why Brady “lets that bitch walk all over him.”
Brady walks in having overheard. She asks what he heard.
“She says enough to know she doesn’t think highly of him.” She’s sorry.
She gets back to work. The Bella issue is almost ready and she has exclusives to give fashion influencers.
Brady tells her this isn’t how he wanted this to happen.
She doesn’t want to hear this, especially not at work. He tells her he didn’t want this.
She says he was a little puppet on a string at the Town Scare. He saw her with Stefan and calls her vulnerable.
She stops him, wondering where he gets off talking to her like this. She’s fine on her own and wants to know what’s going on.
Gabi and Rafe get coffee and talk about how she ran into Chloe and Stefan at the Town Scare.
She calls him “yesterday’s mashed potatoes.”
She’s marrying Li. “Great, because marriages settle everything,” he snipes, wishing Nicole was as determined to stay away from Eric as his sister is Stefan.
They see Johnny and Wendy nearby and wonder what they’re up to. Meanwhile, Johnny asks if Wendy is sure she wants to do this.
Gabi goes to find out what they’re up to. Rafe pokes his head in and Johnny introduced him as his favorite ex-stepfather.
They explain that Johnny found a place for her to live and is showing her around the town.
Rafe takes off for work and Wendy follows after thanking Gabi for getting her the job. Gabi stops Johnny.
What’s he doing? Johnny’s hitting on her in a subtle yet charming way.
Gabi doesn’t think she’s his type but she is.
Gabi doesn’t want to see them get hurt. Johnny doesn’t want that for Gabi, either.
He feels responsible for what happened with her and Jake. She says the devil put her through that but they were never right for one another.
Johnny asks if it seems weird that Stefan doesn’t want her.
She says yes but Rolf says he did nothing to Stefan. Johnny’s surprised she took his word for it.
She has never done it before but for some reason, she says she does.

Wearing only a towel, Eric gets coffee in his room with Jada.
She says, “Thanks bae,” when he hands her a mug.
He grins. “I’ve reached bae status?”
When someone knocks, Eric goes to put clothes on and Jada lets Nicole in with a sigh.
Eric reappears in a robe.
Why didn’t she call? She tried three times. His phone is on silent.
She says they’ve been summoned by the editorial team at Bella. There’s a problem.
They need to be at Titan. He goes to get dressed.
Nic apologizes for the interruption and Jada sneers, doubtful.
Eric and Nicole arrive at Titan to see Alex.
He loved the photos and wants to put Nicole on the cover.
She calls her modelling days behind her but he shows her the photos and she calls it great lighting. Eric grins when Alex says it’s like she’s making love to the camera.
“Whatever you guys got… Eric brings something special out of you and vice versa.” Eric smiles at Nic while she shrinks a little.
Jada arrives at SPD. She and Rafe prepare for interrogation. She’s surprised he’s not nervous.
He’s going to be questioning the kingpin of one of the biggest meth labs of the midwest.
And two of the highest-paid lawyers that drug money can buy will be there.
She yawns and explains that Nicole dropped by and she didn’t get to drink her morning coffee.
He’s clearly pissed. She hopes she didn’t come across as petty. She tells him about Nicole modeling for Eric.
Rafe’s not happy about that. She’s sorry. She’s not thrilled about it, knowing that’s how they got together in the beginning. Rafe says it’s not that.
She didn’t tell him about it.
Wendy walks to DiMera and overhears her brother telling Kristen that Rolf is no longer a problem, he’s gone.
She asks what he’s done with him and when he says it’s not her concern, she grabs him. “The hell it isn’t.”
EJ asked him to do it, Li admits. Outside, Wendy grabs her phone, needing to record this.
They hear her and approach, asking what she’s doing. She claims she was taking a selfie.
She’s introduced to Kristen, who taunts Li about being loyal. Wendy goes and Kristen tells him that Marlena reversed Rolf’s programming.
Twice. Li decides to offer Chloe the promotion. They leave and Wendy returns.
She calls Johnny. “I think we were right,” she says.
Eric, Nicole and Alex interrupt Brady and Chloe’s interpersonal relationship discussion to tell them they’re putting Nicole on the cover of Bella and Basic Black Couture. Brady and Nic point out that Victor hates Nicole.
Alex insists it doesn’t matter. He has no say.
They need to break the internet by using one of their best models.
Eric goes to prepare and Alex says Brady looks good in his suit.
He wants him on the cover, too. Brady reluctantly agrees.
Later, Nic is dressed in a green slinky gown and Eric takes photos of her and Brady. It’s awkward.
Brady’s awkward and Alex tells him to smolder.
He claims men don’t do that and takes off with Chloe at his heels.
Eric and Nicole start sharing sexy looks with each other and Alex watches. “Oh, that’s it. You. You need to be in the suit.
You know how to smolder!”
