Wed March 13, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Chance tells Billy and Devon to chill out, Sally offers Adam her support, and Michael asks Victoria if destiny brought Cole back to her.
Tuesday’s recap: Victor deceived Jordan as she prepares to leave him to starve, and hungover Phyllis learned Summer and Chance got intimate.

Adam joins Sally at Society and tells her that everything seems to be spiraling in his family right now.
His father’s life is in the hands of a madwoman and his son is in deep emotional pain.
She’s sorry about all the pain and “this Jordan woman.” He fills her in on what she did.
She’s shocked that his dad made some deal with the woman who burned down his daughter’s house.
He worries his father may be in a very dangerous position.
Spectra is sure he’s savvy enough not to let anyone get the better of him.
Adam is scared for everyone. Taking his hand, she tells him she’s there for him.
He knows no one gets the best of his dad so he will remain optimistic.
She’s sure he and Chelsea will do whatever it takes for Connor too.
Sally wishes that he could see himself the way she sees him.
He may act like a bad boy but she has a troublemaking past.
They wish they had met years ago.
Adam complains about how grueling waiting is.
She’s sure his brilliant mind is coming up with too many scenarios.
She jokes they should talk about him to cheer him up and talk about how amazing he is.
He thinks she’s too good for him and needs some TLC too.
He brings up her company and she says they can figure that out later.
They hug and say how much they love each other before he walks out.
At the ranch, Michael and Cole try to keep Victoria calm as she panics about her father and brother.
She can’t handle this waiting game.
How much of Jordan’s horror do they have to put up with?
Michael assures her that Victor has everything plotted out and plenty of contingency plans.
He’s gotten out of much more dangerous situations.
Victoria complains her father had no business doing this on his own.
The lawyer reminds them Victor will always do what he wants.
Cole feels guilty for what his family has done to Victoria. It sickens him.
She tells him to stop. He’s not responsible and couldn’t have done anything. They hold hands.
When Cole exits, Victoria admits to Michael that Jordan’s relentlessness is getting to her.
The lawyer tells her it’s fortunate that Cole came into her life.
She’s not sure she could have got through this without him.
Michael hopes he’s planning to stay since there is a long road ahead for Claire.
He doesn’t think it would be the worst thing in the world if something positive came out of this for them.
Michael likes Cole and thinks he’s a good, solid guy.
She agrees.
When he asks if destiny brought them back together, she says no and asks him not to play matchmaker.
The last thing she needs or wants is a relationship.
Cole overhears her saying this.
Eventually, he interrupts them with sandwiches.
Claire is napping after being up all night with Nikki.
They worry about Nikki and all the stress.
Adam joins them and asks for news.
They have none and start worrying that Nick has been trapped.
Victor and Nick arrive. His daughter runs to him.
“This nightmare is finished,” Victor announces, explaining that Nick was in on this with him all along.
Back in the basement, Jordan pounds on the door and curses Victor.

When Billy and Chance walk into the Chancellor-Winters office, Devon is surprised to see the Abbott back so soon.
“You miss me?” Billy asks.
Devon says it was great when he wasn’t there.
Billy asks him about Mamie’s attempt to exert inappropriate power.
They bicker about her plans to run Jill out of the company and split it in two.
Billy asks him if he would be happier in full control of his side of the company.
Devon isn’t answering. Billy says the merger was a mistake.
A lot has changed since he supported it.
The power dynamics in the company are different and his mom’s best interests need to be represented.
“Let’s split the company up,” he suggests.
Devon asks Chance what he thinks.
Chance says it’s above his paygrade, but he thinks ego and in-fighting is destructive to the business.
He thinks they need to chill out and walks out.
Devon and Billy argue whose ego Chance was talking about.
Billy asks why he won’t agree to the division since it would give him what he wants and stop the fighting.
Devon claims he had no idea they were fighting.
Billy thinks he resents his being there.
He suggests they avoid things exploding by just signing an agreement.
Devon says that Jill won’t let that happen.
Chance and Nate meet at Crimson Lights and talk about all the tension in the office.
Nate thinks Devon is trying to pretend Billy doesn’t get to him.
Chance assumes they both want no part of this conflict.
Nate wonders if he’s off team Billy.
The former cop thinks they need to step up and start being the adults in the room before this goes off the rails.
At Daniel’s, Lucy goes on about the prom and worries that no one will ask her.
She really likes Waylon Mars, the guy with good hair.
They ask about this guy. Her father expects to meet him before they go anywhere.
Lily walks in with a bag of groceries and is surprised to see the three of them together.
He leaps over to her to welcome her back.
She was going to surprise him but it looks like she’s being surprised.
Lucy and Heather welcome her back.
Lily explains that Mattie is getting better.
She left her with a therapist.
Heather and her daughter leave for shopping.
Lily immediately asks Daniel what’s going on.
He says it’s great to see her and she was gone too long.
She repeats her question. Heather looked at her like she was “caught.”
She feels like she’s interrupted.
Daniel admits they need to talk.
She guesses that he and his ex got back together while she was gone.
He admits it. It was unintentional and he admits they slept together.
The draw was too strong and they needed to get back what they had.
Lily points out he called and texted her the whole time like nothing had changed.
He wanted to do this face to face and not pile this on her while she was looking after her daughter.
She asks how long this has been happening. He explains they only slept together once and it felt right, like they found their way home.
That’s TMI for her. She has to sit down.
Tears running down her cheeks, she says this hurts.
Hurting her is the last thing he wanted to do.
“That’s what people say after they hurt you the most,” she says.
She starts kicking herself for not seeing this when Heather kept using Lucy as an excuse to show up.
He claims that’s not what happened and this was spontaneous.
Lily says sex isn’t the only way to cheat. Delaying telling her was cheating.
She wonders if anything they had was real. He insists it was. He had no idea this would happen.
Lily asks if he’s fallen back in love with Heather.
“I don’t think I ever stopped loving her,” he admits.
She knew that he hadn’t gotten over his feelings for her.
Daniel says he moved on without her and then she moved back to town.
Lily doesn’t need the recap. She thought he was someone she could have faith in.
He’s sorry, however pointless apologizing is. But he wants her to tell her how she feels.
She won’t yell. She just wants to get out of there.
He asks if he should have told her right away. She’s shocked when he admits that Devon urged him to stay quite.
