Fri Feb 16, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Victoria and Nikki object to Victor’s plans for Claire, Jordan corners Seth in the bar and claims to be a friend of Nikki’s, and Billy gives Chelsea a boost.
Thursday’s recap: Jordan threatened Nikki before meeting Seth at The Empty Glass Lounge, and Ashley was in an accident.

At Chancellor-Winters, Devon and Nate are about to get into something when Billy rushes in with an exciting proposal.
Billy suggests Nate step out but Devon thinks he should be there.
Sitting down, the Abbott tells them this could change the face of the company.
Billy explains that his mom wants her name in the company name.
They go over the way the name works and Billy says he just wants to add Abbott and they can call it ACW or something.
Devon doesn’t understand where any of this is coming from.
Jill never brought this up. It wasn’t an issue until Billy got there.
Devon complains they will have to redesign the logo but Billy points out they have a department for that.
No one is dismissing Jill’s role and they offer to speak to Lily about them.
Billy thanks them for their time and exits.
Devon tells Nate he doesn’t think this is about Jill’s legacy.
Nate didn’t want to start an argument but is siding with Devon.
They think Billy should have admitted this is about him.
Devon thinks this is just a power play and Billy coming to them with this instead of Jill tells them everything.
They think they need to keep an eye on him.
Billy joins Chelsea at Crimson Lights and they discuss the latest with Connor.
He has to speak to some experts. So many things could be wrong and there’s a lot to figure out.
She’s nervous. Not knowing what this is is torture.
He knows it’s hard but she’s got to let go of the anxiety and take care of herself.
She knows he’s right and he always makes things better.
They discuss his meeting with Devon and he admits it didn’t go great.
Devon doesn’t like change.
He’s not giving up and has to find a way around Devon.
She needs to get back to work but he suggests she take a self-care break.
Chelsea thinks it’s sweet that he’s trying to distract her and he urges her to find moments of peace.
She’s not sure how to be gentle with herself so he offers to show her.
They go to her place and have sex.
After that, she tells him he’s her moment of peace.
That’s what she is to him too.
They have to get back to work.
She can feel he will achieve his goals. If he does, it will be because of how confident she makes him.
Chelsea admits that she feels guilty feeling so happy while her son is hurting.
He says the good days will help her through the hard ones. Her son is lucky to have her and so is he.

Mishael Morgan (Amanda) returns
Jack is with Nikki at the ranch.
They finish lunch and go over things they’ve learned in the program.
Victor shows up and asks about what’s happening.
His wife explains that she’s anxious because Jordan called her.
He asks for her phone and decides to call Jordan back.
She doesn’t pick up.
Jack points out she burned down a prison and escaped.
She can use a burner phone.
Nikki explains that she already called Jordan and taunted her away.
When he hears that Lauren encouraged this, Victor think bringing her in was a mistake.
He and Jack start bickering and Nikki says he’s dropped everything for her.
It’s because of him and Lauren that she is sober.
Relenting, Victor thanks Jack and tells him he can go back to work.
After checking on Nikki, Jack agrees, reminding her she can call him.
Once he’s gone, Victor complains about her calling Jack.
She says that she’s not choosing him over her husband; she’s choosing her sobriety.
Shrugging, he says he’s fine with that.
She tells him that she really let Jordan have it over the phone. That woman is a psycho and they need to stop her.
“Certainly do,” says Victor. He’s set a plan in motion but won’t explain.
He just wants her to worry about getting better.
That’s making her conjure up all sorts of horrible things.
He explains he’s setting a trap, suggesting that he wants to make amends.
She assumes he’s planning to use Claire.
Victoria stomps in and declares she won’t allow that.
She spoke with her daughter after he left and Nikki worries that he manipulated Claire.
They argue about using her.
They all wants Jordan out of their lives but Victor says they can’t do this to Claire and undo all the progress she’s made.
They need to find another way.
Victor says that Claire is stronger than they think and this is the only way to deal with this.
Nikki suggests that she can get through to Jordan. Her husband refuses.
She adamant that Jordan is coming for her anyway.
This could give them the power. She can taunt her and they will be ready for her.
She’ll push her buttons until she makes a fatal mistake.
This makes Victor and Victoria worried.
At the Abbott estate, Ashley tries telling herself to be strong as voices swirl in her head.
She calls to see if anyone is there but the house is empty.
She spots the booze decanter.
Jack shows up and startles her. He wonders where she disappeared earlier.
His sister needed some air and needs to deal with this on her own.
Jack wants to be there for her but she says there’s nothing he can do.
She admits that she’s barely hanging on.
He’s concerned when she explains that she got into a little accident. Everyone is fine but it was very jarring.
It brought back a lot of old feelings.
She just wants to run away and never come back.
Her brother holds her and promises things will be okay.
She says she’s tougher than Tucker thinks and will be fine.
She thanks her brother for his wise words and hugs. Ashley goes in for another hug.
Disguised Jordan finds drunk Seth at the Empty Glass Lounge.
She sits with him, saying she’s looking for company but he’d rather be alone.
Jordan says they have a friend in common: Nikki.
She claims her name is Isabelle and he asks how she knows Nikki. She says that’s a sad story.
They used to party together, drinking for free and charming all the bartenders. It was fun until it wasn’t.
Eventually, the hangovers took their toll and they got sober. That changed their friendship, making it deeper.
They went to meetings together and were each other’s rocks.
When she stumbled, Nikki cut her off, fearing she was a danger to her sobriety.
“How could anyone hate Nikki Newman?” she wonders.
As they drink, he asks how she knows his name. She claims she’s been in and out of meetings and heard him share.
He says that he can relate to her story because he and Nikki aren’t friends anymore either.
He doesn’t hate her for cutting him off from being her sponsor.
He feels terrible for letting her down and realizes how much she was there for him.
Jordan asks if he wants to get home.
He’s feeling powerless and that’s the last thing Nikki needs.
She urges him to think of what he needs and not throw away his friendship with Nikki.
Seth notes she has strong feelings for Nikki and suggests she take her own advice and call her.
She claims it’s too late for her. Jordan tells him he should save his friendship with Nikki.
That could change his world.

Devon informs Billy that they will not be changing the name of the company.
“Jill will be very sorry to hear that,” Amanda announces as she interrupts.
“Shut up! Shut up!” Ashley yells at the voices in her head.
“I’ll tell the security guard that I’m expecting you,” Nikki tells Seth over the phone.
“Where are you meeting her?” Jordan asks him.
“At the Newman ranch,” he explains.
Oh well, this just keeps getting better and better,” Jordan says, rubbing her hands together.
