In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Chance and Abby make love and discuss therapy, while Victoria reels over Ashland’s suggestions that her father is playing her. In the previous episode, Ashland lied to Victoria as he turned tables on Victor.

Chance gets up from his nap after his therapy session.
He worries that he’ll make Abby feel as though he’s shutting her out he can’t talk about it just yet. They embrace.
Later, they snuggle on the sofa. She asks if he’s hungry but he isn’t.
He says therapy took a lot out of him. He’s sorry. He wanted to take her to dinner. She doesn’t mind not going out.
She’s thankful he’s getting help. They kiss and start making love.
After, they bask in the glow and talk about being thankful for their future. He goes to make a snack.
When he returns, they talk about his therapist having military experience.
He admits it’s an empty feeling that he gets when people tell him it’s not his fault that his friends died.
He feels he owes them to ensure they’re never forgotten. She’s glad he opened up to her. He is too and kisses her hand.
Faith sits at Tessa and Mariah’s apartment and talks about a color scheme for the wedding.
They think black and sparky are good. She asks how they knew they were in love.
They talk, about how scary it can be and that it takes time.
Faith offers to handle the door at the wedding but it’ll be small and they will keep the riff-raff out.
Faith asks if they ever worried they wouldn’t make it when Tessa was on tour because of the long-distance and time apart.
They look at one another and admit that Mariah lost her way.
Tessa was forgiving. Tessa says the same thing happened to her. They let Faith know that it’s not always perfect.
Faith wonders why they’d risk being with someone if it’s not a soul mate since they can wind up with a broken heart.
Tessa says they feel like soul mates because they can’t imagine their life not together.
It may not last or it may. Mariah asks if she’s asking about her and Moses. Faith clams up.
She eventually tells them life makes more sense when he is around but college is coming and things could change.
They tell her it requires bravery and being a team.
Faith leaves and Tessa and Mariah talk about not finding love at that age. They had it rough.
They talk about Dom and having babies and kiss.
Noah arrives at Crimson Lights with a hot woman named Cindy. He wants coffee for them both before they hit up the club.
The woman says that she’s an Influencer and they ran into each other, literally.
She keeps calling him Noel and he laughs and corrects her.
Faith walks in and she jokes about it being early for him to introduce her to his entire family.
Faith takes her mom aside and they gossip about the woman.
Faith hopes he has found someone and is going to settle down. Noah appears and tells her nobody is settling down.
Faith goes to talk to Cindy while Noah talks to his mom about this being his second date with another woman this week.
He assures her she doesn’t need to worry about her. “Why would I worry?” She asks as Tessa walks in.
Cindy sees Tessa and has a fit. She loves her and is a big fan. Tessa’s kind to her and Noah reappears.
She thinks he planned this for her and it’s turned into a great night.
She invites the women out but Noah and Tessa decline. Mariah turns up and Cindy yells, “Mariah Copeland of Terriah?”
She talks about how romantic it was to see their love.
She prods them for insider information as Tessa and Noah get coffee.
He tells her he’s trying to have fun and leave true love to the experts.

At the Newman Enterprise office, Ashland asks how many times Victoria’s family is going to find some deep dark secret of his and demean them both.
She wonders why he’s feeling threatened and why he’d lie. He’s too careful to do something like this. “There must be something more going on for him to take this kind of risk.”
Ashland suggests Victor pretended to support the marriage to get the merger and eventually take over his company and force him out.
She just can’t see him stooping that low or hurting her that way. Ashland shrugs.
He just can’t figure out why else this is happening.
She plans on fighting him with everything she has. She won’t let him get away with this.
At Society, Nick tells Nate to keep this quiet but he reveals that Ashland’s recovery may be too good to be true. Nate talks about the miracle of science.
Victor appears. Nick tells him what they’re talking about and Victor says he’s the one behind all this.
Nate knows the reputations of the doctors Ashland was involved with.
Victor says he committed an egregious hoax. Nate can’t believe this so Victor suggests they all go to Newman Media and see the proof.
At Newman Media, Nate asks how Victor even knows those two doctors, or if they’re real.
Maybe someone is framing Ash to discredit him.
He thinks that they might be the ones being played.
Victor knows he’s a good man who wants to believe but there’s more damning evidence that the man is a fraud and dangerous.
He needs help to stop him from doing further damage to Victoria. Nate still has issues believing this. Victor gets it.
They feel deceived by the man as well. Nate asks why he’d bother going to this extreme. “Ashland wants control of my company,” Vic says.
He thinks the man needed Nate’s medical expertise to substantiate his BS claims that he was sick.
Nate resents that implication that he was used. Victor reminds him he’s Bobby DeFrano, and all the information in that article about the man is true.
Nick says he’s using his sister’s trust and they need to gather more proof to ensure he doesn’t do more damage. They need Nate.
Before he can respond, Victoria races in and tells Victor he has finally crossed the line. “There is no coming back from this,” she says, breathlessly.
