Mon Dec 11: Today on Young and Restless, Claire tells her story to Michael, Nikki takes another drink, and Adam asks Sally for a reset.
Friday’s recap: Danny romanced Christine, Phyllis was feeling her karma, and Tucker looked for a way to kick Ashley out of Glacade.

Cole and Victoria are in the dining room of the GCAC.
They are both exhausted after jetting off to see Claire.
It’s clear to them that it was Jordan running the show.
It’s heartbreaking how much Claire was abused by her.
Michael arrives, startled to see Cole.
Cole wishes this was under more congenial circumstances.
He tells the lawyer they are going to ask him to do something shocking.
Once they fill him in, he’s appalled.
They are unsettled that Jordan is still on the run.
He imagines they are wondering is Claire is actually their child.
Victoria explains she’s agreed to a DNA test.
They got her to agree to that by offering to find her a lawyer.
Baldwin guesses that’s why he’s there.
That doesn’t go over well with him.
Are they willing to risk allowing Claire to get free and team up with Jordan again?
Do they have a plan for that? She says they haven’t planned that far ahead.
Michael suggests they have her psychiatrically evaluated first.
If she was just an accomplice, they owe her nothing.
f she is their child, she still isn’t blameless.
Victoria hears him but needs to know the truth.
Cole doesn’t know what to think but Jordan clearly brainwashed Claire.
They asks him to at least talk to her and see if he can get any insight.
They admit that they haven’t discussed this with her family but the only way they can get answers is if they agree to this deal with Claire.
Michael thinks that this could all be a game. Cole says they aren’t naïve.
The lawyer worries that Claire could easily manipulate them.
Cole admits they might not be able to trust Claire. This could all end up a fiasco.
Michael points out she could have left something with her DNA on it at the Lake House.
Victoria can’t imagine setting foot in the house again but Cole offers to go there instead.
In her prison cell, Claire dreams about Victoria telling her she’s not her mother.
Tapping on the bars, Jordan wakes her up.
She tells her she is weak.
That’s why she got caught.
She’s let her down and now her parents won’t fear her.
Jordan tosses the Victorian doll with a bleeding eye on her cot.
Claire wakes from this nightmare.
Michael meets with Claire at the prison.
He makes it clear he hasn’t agreed to take her case yet but he’s her best shot.
What happens next is up to how she responds.
She’s grateful for any help.
The lawyer tells her to be completely honest with him.
She agrees.
He prompts her to walk him through this so he can make up his mind about defending her.
She claims she was raised only to hate her parents and the Newmans.
The lawyer points out Jordan was estranged from her sister for years and had no first hand knowledge of what happened.
Claire was convinced from birth that she was discarded and her aunt saved her. She wanted to help her and learned how to find an entry point.
She did it all without any questions or reservations.
Not that that got her any praise.
When she finally faced her real mom, she just wanted her to see who she was and admit she made a dreadful mistake by giving her up.
But she didn’t and never will.
Her entire life has been meaningless. Nothing has been believed in has been true.
She spent so much of her life wanting to hurt her parents, but finally seeing them only made her want a real connection.
Finding out that Jordan had lied and robbed her parents just as she’d robbed her was devastating.
She can’t see how her parents could ever forgive her.
She just wants to get out and leave this behind.
He can understand that.
Claire asks if he will help.
At the motel, Jordan pulls out some photos, a knife, and some vials from her luggage.
She places Eve’s photo on the stand.
She flips through a photo album on Nikki and Victor.
As she looks at it, she says the high and mighty will fall and never get back up. All for her sister.
At the ranch, Victor complains that Jordan is a damn menace.
Nikki has no shame about being an exotic dancer so playing music from those days won’t make any difference.
Victor vows to find “that damn woman” before she can do any more damage.
He thinks his baby needs some rest and quiet.
She’s glad that she went to an AA meeting, but all she needs now is his love and some tea.
After he goes upstairs, she stares at the vodka.
Once she makes tea, she gets a text with a photo of her and a morbid Poe poem underneath.
Nikki immediately grabs the bottle and starts gulping.

The next day, Nick bumps into bearded Adam at Crimson Lights.
His brother asks what’s happening.
No one has been around and they’ve all been out of touch.
It’s like the Newmans went AWOL. Nick says they have been dealing with a family matter that doesn’t concern him.
Sally bumbles in and bumps into Nick, which makes him lurch back in pain.
Nick claims nothing is wrong and refuses to explain.
He walks off.
Sally wonders what that was all about and guesses it was more than just him avoiding them.
He’s sure he’ll learn about the family mystery soon enough.
They chat about what they have been up to.
He’s mostly been thinking about her.
When they sit, she admits she has been thinking of him too… but she hasn’t figured out what the night they spent together means.
It’s unclear that it’s smart to make it more than what it was.
Even if they go down that road again, they will probably fail.
They should know better.
He agrees that the stakes are high…but it could work in ways they never expected.
Adam suggests that they could soar this time. Can’t they try a reset? Even lunch or a brownie?
Victoria arrives at the ranch to check on her mom. Nikki is trying to put what happened behind her.
She explains that she will be attending AA meetings for awhile and refuses to be defeated.
That’s what her daughter wanted to see.
Victor joins and they ask why she went to see Claire. Their daughter explains they learned a lot about what Jordan did to Claire.
He’s startled when she admits that she and Cole asks Michael to defend Claire.
Victoria isn’t sure what aspects of Claire’s story can be believed.
They go over what helping her could mean.
Nikki tells her daughter she could have found a less gifted attorney.
Victoria feels compelled to help Claire but her mom can’t see her as anything other than a monster.
Regardless of how the DNA test turns out, she’d like Claire to have a better future.
Her father remains appalled that she’s going so easy on her.
Nick joins them. He understands her desire to get to the truth about Claire but worries this could bring Jordan back.
Victoria can’t let this go. She needs answers.
They talk about Nikki and Victor tells them how proud he is of his wife withstanding this assault on her sobriety.
Victoria is surprised that her father is determined to go to the office today. He and Nick leave for work.
She asks her mom if she needs extra support by someone with training. She’s sure she must be a bit of a wreck.
Nikki gets a text, looks at it, and snaps.
Her daughter asks what it is.
Nikki admits she’s been getting texts and calls and shows her the latest poem from an unknown sender.
Victoria thinks this is insane. They have to find Jordan and stop her.
